You won't get a new High def camcorder thats any good at that price range. HD is a pain in the ass to work with, and from what I have heard it takes a much better computer to be able to render the footage properly in the edit. At £400 I'd look into standard definition (if its HD at this price then you know that quality has been lost in other features of the camera). Look at this camera for example, Toshiba claim that is HD but as the resolution is only 1280x720 (as oposed to x1080) then it can be immediately dismissed as not true HD, and according to the reviews the quality is comparable with some of the standard def cameras (Sony DCR range etc). If you want something that is nice on quality, have a look at video tests on Vimeo and such, just to get an idea of each cameras own capabilities. Lowest entry HD camera I can recommend is the Canon HV30, which is you look around you might be able to get a good deal on, or you could source one second hand (My local cash converters is seling one for £420).

That goes with just about any other extreme sport. Trials is just addictive to most as the progression is much more noitceable and quicker than any other extreme sport (IMO of course)

Some mentalist BMXer sold his bike to convert to trials, it wasn't Danny Mac but he is ridiculously good already. I don't know of anyone who has heard of it around here, would be nice if it increased the number of people who come into work and enquire about trials bikes, and wouldn't be bad way to shift the Phase 1.2 and DB Tekiya we have stored away.

Better movement I'm assuming. Think about bending your knees to tuck in a fitting set of shorts, or a baggy set of jeans. That said, I wouldn't go as far as lycra shorts, so camo 3/4's shall suffice.

I think its sad that he got someone else to post it, as though he has some sort of reputation to lose by doing it himself. I personally think he was alright, rode for the fun and not the competition of getting better, and just generally being a nutter. Quit or not quit, he is still a trials rider, and the way everyone has replied to this has dispelled my previous thoughts that the majority trials bikers are friendly socialable and accepting people.

Regardless of bike and clothing, the riding is mental for such an old video, it is as old as me!

Its more woman trouble than girl trouble. I'm bloody sure, the now single MILF of an accountant at work has something for me. She's added me on Facebook, and talking on quite personal scales. erm....waht...? -
I checked with my boss today (he's been at my cycle shop for 33 years), and he told me that by law, bikes have to be sold with a bell, but once out of the shop it is down to your own descretion if you prefer to use your voice or bell. The law behind it is that you must have some audiable means of telling people you are approaching, so if your normal joe public, your voice will cover this (yes by law), and the only reason you would need a bell is if you have difficulity speaking/vocal troubles.

Out of what frame? surely if it is out of frame we could not see any riding? As for filming from certain angle, just due to the amount of people about it was near impossible to get a good angle that you would do in your own videos. It is also very intrusive to be filming a rider you don't know, very close.

I know its a legal requirement for bikes to be sold with bells but had absolutely no idea that its law to have one (and I've been working in a bike shop for the past 2 years!). It is ridiculous if you ask me, I find bells one of the most patronising noises about (when used on a bike at least), I find it much more curtious to just say "Excuse me can I get through...Thank you", not an audible PING that suggests "Watch out BIKE!". And its not like it can be used the same as a car horn, just because of the volume of the noise created, its bollocks.

I'll give you a shout after 5.

Look mental other than the rim-tape. Glad to see another Essex rider back on the scene, needs to get big again.

Whether this dilema has been solved or not I would like to voice my thoughts on it. That means bugger all, unless she is the moronic type who has no social understanding what-so-ever, then she will never go for you on just looks (well only in the drunken state and of course thats only a one nighter). I can think of many girls I would refer to as hot, that doesn't mean I like them or would consider sharing something with them, the social side of girl is equally as important.

Won't be long until an epidemic, I think it will be quite fun myself.

My mum is a hairdresser so therefore my own. Bloody handy, as I'm a right ponce when it comes to my hair.

Mental video mate, definately my favourite, that is one sick edit, when did you learn to do all of that? its a beautiful video. Is that your kodak camera? the quality is mental on it. Finally glad to see the mental Danny Mac gap on video, just relived the tension and excitement of seeing him doing it on the day, truely inspiring.

No as the Onza tensioning system works from the inside and pushes outwards, there is a little square bit of metal which sits in and occupies alot of space in the dropouts before the rear wheel goes in. Whereas with chain tugs they work from the outside and pulls outwards, so no little block occupies the dropout and the wheel can be slammed further forward.

£2 bag of assorted sweets, I really want these duck marshmallows individually!!!

Failed attempt at a codebox, ignore. I think a lot of the modern attempts of electronic are the bridge between what the mainstream audience believe is popular music, and classic electronic styles. Obviously not replicating one or the other. If that makes sense?

Ah man just seen the topic. By the time I get out of college and travel there London will be pointless. I shall be riding Chelmsford with Reece and Ryan, whilst pretending my last name is Rankin! Anyone free on Friday, Reece and I also had plans to ride good old Clacton.
-
aener, would you be able to give an artist as comparison, something that you would call real Electronic? I love the Prodigy's old stuff, but I don't like anything from the new album, even trying to force myself to like it. Pendulum are brilliant, I think they've done the right move in going mainstream by broadening their genre with "In Silico", now I wouldn't class them as just Drum and bass, its rock (well almost metal), electronic, and just a greater appeal than just drum and bass, caters for a wider variety of audiences. And I personally love In Silico (everyone has their own tastes).

That is absolutely ridiculous, that is definition of the word control right there. Give it a few more months, stick the brakes back on and then you'll also be the definition of beast.

Is Deng completely blind to every other competitor in the trials brands? These new models are hardly anything new, they are just slightly adapted old models, Deng needs to cut out the crap and sort his act out. I assume he's going for the old and overused; bare metal and lacquer finish, quite possibly the blandest and boring looking frame on the market. He's still got 4 bolt and disc mount on 2 different frames, another big fail. Deng had the right idea but cutting a lot of the colour ranges from his different brands, now I think he needs to cut the brands that don't sell and merge them to what the people want, look at any other make of frame and you'll see that they only have a few models, its not needed to makes lots of different frames that only have negligable differences.
