They just look like a different design to the standard Magura's to me. Apart from the pads, I think they are the same performance wise.
-
As well has handlebar movement, try to physically move the bike with your hips and feet in the direction you want to go. I can do it, but only in a clockwise direction.

Sweet pics, I loved that bench in town, the gap Luke and Chris were doing on it was insane.

Ah was a great day, I had lots of fun. Ah the look on Dan's face when he saw Luke's hand was priceless. I found a nice little bench and wall in town that kept me amused for a while, until a PCSO moved us along. Some awesome riding from everyone, Tom, Steve and Chris on the Zhi were the tits. Have to ride there again on a better day. -

If Jay is coming he has my number already, but just in case, I've PM'ed you. -
Hehe, sweet ridings and clips, I do like a nice long video. I think some of the scenery in the backround looks awesome like the London Eye. Loved it, look forward to more.

Okay guys. See you there at ten, minus Jack on his Pitbull who is not coming, still with Lee. =) -
Hmn looks nice mate, I too wish it was a real one. Hows about making the header text a tad bit transparent so it doesn't cover up the picture so much. And also agree about changing the text colour.

Sweet guys I look forward to meeting y'all. We are getting the 9 o clock train, and then meeting at Chelmsford station at 10 o clock. As for getting down from Cambridge, I did some research and found this. Get a 7:43am train and you'll be in Chelmsford by 9:45am with a changeover at Ipswich at 9:08am. Cheapest fare I could find was £30 return, so you'll be paying around that price, dependant on what time train you get. Punch in what you want on www.nationalrail.co.uk Hope to see you there if its not too much for you to pay. -
It is all dependant on your set-up of your bike. If you've got smooth rims then some standard or soft pads with a bit of tar will do. If you've got a grind you need something a bit harder to stand up to the job. I recommend Magura Kool Stops for a smooth rim if you are on a budget, they aint bad pads. £15 for 4 pads is pretty cheap as well (www.chainreactioncycles.com).

Train lo? I will be coming with Lee (luminous rear green rim) and Jack (Pitbull) Can we meet at 10 please, otherwise we have to wait around for about an hour. We'll get the 9 o clock train, so we'll be there by 9:30ish, and then we'll be off to McDonalds then meet you at the station at 10. If not, I've got Jay's number so... EDIT: Hey mate on the Zhi, I believe my friend talked to you on msn, his name is Lee he's got the Saracen with lumionus green rim on it, and was planning to get a Zhi, he'll be there. -
I agree with Marcus, Charlie, you have to remember that places such as Clacton, Witham, Colchester, Chelmsford, and Southend are in Essex, so what about those riders. Can't you just call it Braintree riders or something?, we aren't like a team or anything and I don't want other people thinking that. Ask people before we go anywhere Charlie, don't just expect that everyone will come along.

Meh, gapping on flat ground to flat ground can be a bit dodgy to measure, because you might over step the mark a bit. I think its better gapping from pallet to pallet, last time I did that, I was able to put my bike in lengthway's with a bit of space to move it, and that was from Back wheel to back wheel. To front wheel I am about the same distance.
-
Yea I'm currently having this problem. I just think to myself, over time I'll naturally get higher but I don't think its gonna work that way. I think when I was first starting out, it really helped to exagerate the motions of bringing the bike upwards and through. Also, good find about foot positioning, I'll have to look out for that when I'm on my bike.

Hehe, Autumn last year as it was beginning to get dark, I was on my jump bike with my lights and plod pulled up to me. He asked to see my lights so I pointed at them, he said "They're not very visible, you best stick to the pavement". After reading some of these internet articles, I believe if the act/law of the fixed penalty notice that was put in place on the 1st of August 1999 still has the same requirements in order for someone to recieve a fixed fine, then I cannot be fined or prosecuted as I am under 16. But I don't know if the ruling has changed since then, the fine may apply to under 16's now.

Its not really another ride been arranged in Braintree, Jack just wants to try there, most of his mates are going to Chelmo I think. Gah, have the time as 9, its more of a day that way and I can pop off to Maccy D's to get my breakfast. =) I'll come if a few people from Braintree do, but if no-one does then I'm sticking to Braintree. C'mon Jack, We haven't riden outside Braintree since Clacton. =0 We'll get Lee, Luke, Perrin, Jack etc to come, it will be a good ride. -
Now this is the thing to consider Charlie, you are on a T-Pro that is a longish bike, compared to a Saracen 2.Zero that Reece learnt on. Its not the front end thats heavy, its the geometry of the bike, and your not exactly going to change that. A 2.Zero is an incredibly short frame, Its mega easy to get on the back wheel. But with a T-Pro its much longer and you are positioned over the front. Try his bike next time and see. EDIT: As for Onza Carbon bars, I'd imagine that normal metal bars could have a tendancy to bend, but with carbons I'd imagine it wouldn't bend, therefore leading to the same snapping over time.

Or Chelmsford I wanted to go to Colchester a while ago instead of the Chelmsford ride thta is happening, but everyone just said its crap and not worth it. Besides, Saturday is a crap day to go on, Sunday means that you can ride town with peace of mind.

Gah I dunno, I'm just confused as hell. Most of the Braintree boys are staying in Braintree now, I wanna get to Chelmsford. Why can't you make Chelmsford Jack? Or perhaps we can do Chelmsford the day after? -
Your bike feels the same as any other bike. Why is it an issue when your not exactly doing anything big on your bike? Hows about shortening that front brake cable, that could take off a bit of weight. ={)
-
My mate had an '03 T-Mag, he managed to bend his bottom bracket.
-
I haven't riden a Zona, but haver a T-Comp. The T-comp feels a bit bulky/heavyish to my liking, I don't know if a Zona is any better, but its what I'd rather have.

I just had a simple photo of me hopping on one of many rocks in Clacton, with the sea in the backround. My dad printed it and framed it, it looks quite nice. http://img381.imageshack.us/img381/9523/dsc04489yk9.jpg And then I got my current one of me riding in Braintree http://img381.imageshack.us/img381/8347/s7000794hg4.jpg

Gah, Jack Balman is being a bit arsey about this. Can't Jack come and ride Braintree another day, so we can keep this ride on the same date?
