  1. Where was there around 12ish to 2ish Alain. Ah, If it was a Saturday I wouldn't be able to go anyways as there is no train from Braintree to Witham on that day. I'll see what the guys are doing, but I don't exactly know my way to Southend or around it. As for borrowing money from my parents I already have, I also need to borrow money for a new tyre and frame. =(
  2. If I hadn't riden the pipes and wasted my money in Netto's or on pork pies yesterday, then I would be up for it, but £8 train fare is steep for me at the moment. I'll come down another time, hopefully it will be just as big.
  3. Echo Lite is lighter than an Echo Team (as the name suggests), but only a tad difference though. I guess with the Team there is the option for a short or long frame, and dependant on rider, this could be a big pro over the Lite.
  4. Is it done yet? I was bored and made a very small clip of Chris riding the stair thing up the skatepark. LINKY
  5. Twas a good day, quite a lot of people were having troubles with their bikes, my brakes annoyed me quite a bit, so I took them apart today and cleaned them all out and set them up properly. I enjoyed my kebab on the train home, and got better in my quest of learning front hops (cheers Ash and Nick). I guess we'll have to ride again another day, but probably choose a Sunday as most people can't make Saturday, Baz only just came as he had the day off. (And hence why Chai made a ride in Clacton last Sunday).
  6. Hooray, as stated on National Rail it has now cleared. =) Make sure you get the right end of the train Matt. I'm all ready to ride with new front tyre and grips. See Y'all there.
  7. Gah, for those who are going by train, you may want to read this. http://nationalrail.co.uk/service_bulletin...1955c8101be7f02 It says that normal services should resume by 16:00 today, so lets hope that.
  8. http://www.themagazineman.co.uk/Trial%20Magazine.htm I'll have a look about for it sometime. Either way its got to be as good as the trials section in MBUK.
  9. PM'ed you mine, we'll probably be down on the rocks for the most part of the day, or somewhere along the front.
  10. No, ours goes to Witham and then we changeover onto a train that takes us to Clacton. Does your train go through Witham?, if it does then go to very far end of the train (The front) and thats the end we will jump on. And Chris, if you come to Clacton any later than 10, give me a ring and we will meet you at the rocks. EDIT: Matt, just checked, it is the train we get onto, so remember to get the right end of it.
  11. oh my god Chris is such a legend, he is coming to Clacton again! Despite how much it costs him for train, he still manages to come, well done mate. Chris and Jay from Colchester are also coming, and possibly Nathan.
  12. Rofl at the shoe! Some awesome pics there Callum. Wish I could have gone, looked like a swish ride, I suppose everyone has a really god tan now. =(
  13. The T-Rex was legendary though, with the paintjob that had been half stripped lo. Looks nice though, good job. Have to see you ride it.
  14. 04's feel better on the fingers, 05's look better and fit the fingers well.
  15. But people who ride UCI style still have a bashring, just incase they did slip by accident and hit the bottom bracket. So why not two of them?
  16. Ah for christ sake (blasphemy. =O). Do we yet need another topic with a random spammer, if this gets closed then how the hell will we know what new members are going? =( *You make me sick*
  17. I'd put mobility scooters in Room 101, most of the people who have them can walk perfectly fine, and they usually zip around the supermarkets without consideration for other people. They also get away with riding on the road and on the path, and do not require tax or insurance. Most of them are huge and would hurt to be run over by. Secondly Jeep's, mainly because they break the rules in the classic design of car, a car has a lowish bonnet, so if you are hit by a car you are flung onto the bonnet/windscreen area. A Jeep or 4x4 has a high bonnet, if you are hit by one you will go underneath and be crushed by the wheels, who needs a car that big anyways?, most of the drivers of them are women, and they can't drive them for shizz. Also Jeep is a stupid word, what is the plural of Jeep?, is it Jeep's or Jeep. (In the same way that Sheep still stays as Sheep?) Those are my additions to Room 101.
  18. Nice one Dan, I imagined that everyone was going to Clacton today and hardly anyone next week. Chris and Jay from Colchester are going too, and possibly Nathan. I'll be there of course.
  19. Ah well, there was quite a few last time I went to Clacton. Maybe this time (on the 21st), it will be easier to move from place to place, and be within more of a group.
  20. Its down to personal preference mate. I personally prefer Mod, as its smaller, cheaper and easier in my opinion. I wouldn't mind doing Stock, but at my age I feel too young and too small for a stock, but its something I'd definately consider in the future.
  21. Aww feck I'm so confused, stupid Chai and his plans to conquer the earth. Well if Matt is still going on the 21st then yea.
  22. Gah we should have gone on the ride tommorow, look how many people are going. =(
  23. The Zona looks awesome with the Green brakes, you should do up more bits on it.
  24. Okay 21st as I have my first day of work experience the day after lmao. Braintree guys are getting the 8 o clock train, so be at the station for 7:40. As for meeting place, shall we say the pier at 10?
