i would say IDIOT, but i wont. ill leave it for someone else to do. but if youve ever seen neil riding with your eyes, its not faked, and you expect him to fake all his vids etc. which would be super hard to do. everything ive seen off him, im 100% its real. and ill tell you how its possible practise, and more practise color="#C0C0C0"]that and a bloody high level of natural talent, natural fitness and explosive leg power, a huge helping of skill and sporting ability, and praying 3 times a day

might seem stupid of me, but i have a 40gb ipod, which id rather not like to break/lose and does take up a lot of room in jeans pockets when biking, on the motorbike, or on the way into town on the bus ready for a piss up, all things that will never require more than 60 songs to be listened to,no matter how hardcore im feeling. and all reasonably dangerous to £200 ipod. but a £24 ebay 4gb jobbie is easily big enough, does the job,and if i lose it/land on it and smash it up, its bugger all ive lost/got to replace. figures. and joe, mines working fine, even doing stuff it tells you not to do(folders within folders, functions fine)

Unlike my job in bt, which is fixing vans that people like bongo break everyday.

think is the peak hours on nildram are large, like 16 hours a day. and the 1.5gb is split between fattys cooking programs, space munkees porn, and TF needs. and any other housemates who use the net, plus anyone leeching off his wireless router from 3 doors down.

konstantine does make me feel wierd listening to it now, but for me, a more emotional song,is two days in february by goo goo dolls. was the song in the vid of his that had the first minute or so of it done.and then he got killed, so the video was never finished. makes me go all cold everytime i hear it now, never fails to make me think of Deej, actually was on in a pub jukebox about 3 months after he died, and i had to get up and walk out of the pub at the time. amazing how a bit of music, which you associate with a person you very vaguely knew on the internet, can make you feel like that. on a none biking note. got plenty. less than jake- all my best friends are metalheads, gainesville rock city. well basically the whole of hello rockview. so many memories of back in the day. blink 182 - rock show, all the small things. again brings back teen memories. ataris. in this diary. its from my youth, it could be about my youth. undertones - teenage kicks. one of those warm inside songs, and i admired what john peel did, and was a huge fan. of how an old guy, could still hold his own on radio 1. de ja vu - face down, ass up. 14,spendin the summer in wales. me,tom, lacey, ben and cato playin pool in the torrent. put this song on every day, just cos we could. dj sammy - boys of summer. partly cos its about summer, and its cool, but mainly cos when i was 15, again in wales, was a mazda with a scrapping notice on it, with a cd player in it, we knew the bloke that owned it,hed drove it , the engine had blown up, hed parked it in the car park, trashed it, put it on bricks, and reported it stolen. the police obiviously hadnt clocked this. but the night before the notice was due.i went to get the cd player.got in the car, put the courtesy light on, and turned the stereo on to make sure it worked. , was under the dash, when i heard sirens, next thing i knew, could see headlights approaching the car park, along the back wall. in my idiocy, i locked the doors.climbed onto the back seat, and kept me head down, the car was a cop car, and it had stopped.i pulled an old fishing jacket of the footwell, and put it on top of me, and just lay there. cops probably looked through the window with a torch, tried the doors, and went off. but at that moment, felt like i was hidden under a wax jacket for eternity, by heart going about 12354 beats per minute. once theyd gone, i got back up, turned the stereo on. and this song was on. even now that song gets me going. hoobastank - the reason, was with a girl when i was 16, for a couple of months, every time she heard this song, she cried. now shes passed. but had it on the other week, and realised how much of it seemed true about me and hayley( finding a reason to change, and a girl being that reason) thought it was so true, now werre over, realise it was true, and although she was brilliant, ill always be me, and ill never change, unless im doing it for myself. but now that songs almost making me as emotional, as it does my ex from 3 years ago. could go on for ever, but thats it i think

this is kind of old news, government have been planning it for ages, its just going to cost billions to implement. but the idea is, its meant to replace road tax.and other duties, which i can see the sense in, providing its at a similar cost for average mileage.(i.e £170 a year on a 1500cc or above car doing 12,000 miles per annum). and on that idea i think its a good idea, great aunt ethel who does 1800 miles a year, should not be paying the same rate as someone like me who does 15,000 a year, as i obiviously should be paying more towards road maintenance as i use them more. also theres cars in our work place, who do 60,000 a year. and as for delivery vans etc that do 350 miles a day. who should be charged signifiacantly more than me. i only agree on it, if it doesnt increase costs to the average motorist(i.e doing 12,000 a year, you shouldnt pay any more than you do now). if they use it as they also plan on using it, for congestion charges though, thats purely a money spinner. the reason people drive the road they drive, at the time they drive it, is cos they use it. the m6 junctions 11-8 are hell every morning from 7.30am-9.30am, but everyone needs to be using that route, and even at gridlock, it is clearly the quickest way without going through residential areas, so charging people £1 a mile on that stretch of road, generally wont decrease the amount of traffic. it will just increase government revenue, and unless its spent on improving that road, so its less congested. then i dont see its just to pay for it. also having gps in every vehicle, is a bad idea, as how long till we get fines via post, which are handed out from the eye in the sky, it knows how fast your going, on what road, at what time, can hand out speeding fines nice and easy. no cameras, no traffic police, no safety camera partnerships needed. can hand you out a fine for going to fast down a duel carriageway at 3 in the morning(and im talking 71 mph here if needed). when theres no one round

am i not right in thinking youve got the way of screwing the b/b in the wrong way round, the right hand side is a left hand thread. you screw the left hand one in clockwise, and screw the right hand one in anti clockwise. when you look at the cranks, and the way they turn, and the whole tightening up as they turn idea, it initially makes no sense, but in fact, think a little deeper than that, and it does work as the crank spins one way, the bearings rotate, and push the other way on the outside. meaning as you pedal the right hand arm clockwise, the force on the shell is actually anti clockwise. thus tightening the left hand thread on the right hand side.

i woulsdnt bother personally rob, im 19(and a quarter), and wouldnt look at a 15 year old twice, to be honest with you, anything lower than 17 is pushing it, even if 16 is legal. 1) you could go down for it 2) how would your parents take it, i know my mother would be ashamed. 3) how would her parents take it, i dunno, but theyd take you for a kicking in the back garden when they found out 4) how would your mates take it, im sure theyd take the piss 5)altho it seems good now, and it might be, when it ends, youve got the stigma, of being the guy who porked a 15 year old, which will put everyone off you. -
would it not be a better idea, to just drill real small holes in each corner of the hexagon, in the same way you drill a crack, so theres no where for the pressure to centre on.

put an end to this 2.5 year break ive had. aims for 07, learn to tap/backwheel 40"(currently sitting at 19"), learn to sidehop more than about 15 inches(hopin for about 35-38"). get manuals back once more(lost me bottle, now ive finally got a manualable frame again). and get more progression on the front wheel.

beau, your dads saying wheres a brick layer gunna get you, brickies rate these days on per brick basis is 30p a brick, a good brickie can lay in excess of 120 bricks an hour. thats £36 quid an hour. many contract places pay a flat rate of £25-£35 an hour, often supply you with vans etc. its a skill that will help you in life financially(i.e apart from having a job bringing in 50k a year. you can build your own house for peanuts, and being in the trade, will have mates who are plumbers, sparks, chippies etc, so will fit it all out at mates rates providing you do the same)

yea trouble is then, drawing the line, between rain, drizzle, mizzle etc. my opinion on speeding, yes its wrong, but think it should be more conditional, i.e not carry points between 3 am-7am or summit. take my drive up to manchester at 1.30am new years day to go get me end away. i was hyped up about, and driving suitably quick.i was dioing about 85 all the way, perhaps more in places, how many cars did i pass on a 75 mile trip, erm 8(i counted because i cudnt believe how quiet it was), the visibility was spot on, dry, clear night.. 79mph in this situation could result in 3 points and £60 fine. but seriously, would it be just, would it bollox. however my mother works in a school. cars parked on the side of the road every morning and afternoon. its a 30 limit, traffic lights for crossing, 4 buses in a bus stop, its snowing.and visibility is about 20 metres. kids wear a black uniform. doing 34mph in this area, would not result in a fine or points, but in them conditions, unless you got a damn good reason to drive like that, you should be hung drawn and quartered. and gatsos, how wrong are they great auntie margaret passing through at 35,with her mind on other things coming back from bingo at 11pm on a tuesday night, flash, flash £60. but darren the d*ckhead, in his mums 2.0 mondeo, which he doesnt have insurance on, knows where the camera is, 70 mph up to it. 30 past it, 80 after hes gone past it, does he get caught, does he bollox. rant over

makes no sense at all, if you all sped up cos of a minor accident, then everyone who speeds up gets a fine. what james means is that with a normal camera, can bomb it up to it, slow down past it, then tank it again. but with these new type they take an average of your speed between the 2 cameras. so you gotta go slow the whole way to avoid gettin caught. i.e dont speed, which is kinda wat speed cameras are there for. got similar ones on the m6 by brum now, and some on the m56 bridge repairs by warrington, which almost got me, comin along 2am on a monday morning, pushin over a ton, as there was literally not another car in sight, through the first set of cameras.(set to 40 for roadworks and width restriction). realised what id done, and sat on the hard shoulder for a good few minutes, letting me speed between the 2 cameras drop to a nice safe 20mph or so.

Fatty R's Anyone Replaced The Sterar Tube?
Fish-Finger-er replied to Wright Pads's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
yea as i say i think the bloke missed the point, my mate had cut it shortter rather than using spacers, so when they came to be fitted to my frame, they wer too short. i think his idea was to get a couple of tubes cut up different lengths so that i could swap them round for different bikes, which was missing the point,i just wanted a couple of extra inches(dont we all) -
because theres a lot of families of people who have died attempting the uk land speed record for a bbc 2 tv show nah seriously though, can see some complaints over it.hell if it was america, could see someone attempting it, crashing and dieing, and having there family sue the bbc, saying we saw it on tv, and they didnt die. be good to see though, in an infotainment sort of way, and lets be honest, richard hammond was doing it for the entertainment value, the viewing figures, the thrill, and for the glory. all of which hes gunna get more of in bucketfuls, when this is aired, and providin hes got no issues with it being shown, then dont see anyones got the right to kick up a fuss.

Fatty R's Anyone Replaced The Sterar Tube?

just check yellow pages for local engineering companies. and hobble on round there and ask there opinion, most places will undertake it i should imagine. bit of useless info, but may be worth taking on onboard/thinking of getting done. had some old sus forks with a steel steerer. aluminium crown, and some idiot who borrowed them cut the steerer just a load to short.so spoke to a local retired engineer. in his opinion one of the best ways of doing it(note he is 100% none biker, and was looking at it from an engineering point of view). was to: cut the steerer off flush with the crown. and then cut a thread into the steerer that was left inside the crown(a good inch and a bit long) and cut the same thread into a new piece of steel tubing which would become the new steerer then on a lathe, and with a die, cut out a piece of threaded rod about 3-4 inches long to match the thread cut in the tube(i think i may have the piece of paper with the suggested size on it somewhere, was wierd and AF'y) screw the threaded rod into the crown/steerer.till a thread or 2 popped out of the end. peen these over with a ball hammer. and just tack the rod to the base of the steerer on the underside of the crown. then just locktight the top bit of the steerer onto the thread(as it had a good 2-3 inches of thread on it wasnt gunna come loose). although i think he was missing the point, cos i think part of his idea was i could remove and change the steerer whenever i wanted, say for swapping it from bike to bike, when infact i just wanted it making longer.(however it was useful to know if i ever needed another steerer, could just drill a hole through this one, clamp the crown in the vice, put a bar through the hole, and unscrew it off) however cost of this job seemed to be more expensive than sellling the forks second hand and buying a new pair at £120. think the price i was quoted from an engineering firm to do the discussed work was around £80,but were going back a couple of years now.so think you may be better off getting another set of second hand fatty's -
ooo wait there a second, u havent done anything stupid like added your songs from your itunes music folder have you, just realised all my music in there is hidden as such(itunes does it for some gay reason when it adds it to the folder) so when you drag and drop music out of there for a regular mp3 player, does it copy across as hidden just an idea, and could see meself making that mistake.

wasnt shona way in buckys deep mysterious past, well at least a while back, sure he was with sammi (i think, bird with the corsa) after shona, then this new piece, and possibly a couple of other quiet uns inbetween. -
yea, its illegal to ride at night without lights, but its also illegal to ride on the pavement, or ride without a rear reflector, unless you ride like an idiot, cops will most likely either just tell you to walk, or not even bother you. use common sense, if theres a car crash and cops are there, dont go hopping round on the flower bed across the road, dont go smashing stuff up in front of cctv, ride responsibly and chances are nothing will be said.

who ever said starlets, RWD, are you mad?? or am i just majorly misinformed. transit vans arent all RWD either, the 2000 series onwards panel vans tend to be FWD. escort mk1 + 2's. triumph TR7's, stags, etc. most others have been mentioned i think

u actually enjoying bt home hub, ill be honest, my experience with them, along with a lot of bt/computacentre employees(i dont work with the stuff at all, dont touch anything phone related in my job, despite my shirt saying bt,just had experience with them through an interest in computing). is that there totally overhyped, poor signal strength, prone to disconnection and just generally poor.altho that was the first batch of them, new ones may be better.
