  1. isnt bongos around 130 bhp?? and group 11/12???
  2. is it not something to do the transfer of forces. in the same way you would drill a crack, so the force would dissipate round the circle evenly.rather than focusing on a point(the base of a crack). sure it was a similar principle with this. u welded a gusset that came to a point, youd be creating a place where a huge force focused. and altho a welded circular close gusset would dissipate force. by having it open ended. itd run down the down tube, thus dissipating over a massive area. or something similar to that. sure i remember reading that a couple of years back.
  3. yea, i am, give me 2 seconds and ill log in, ur name wud be?? and ur preferred game. ( 8 ball pro ***)
  4. my-space. just updated it now,for the firs time in ages. take a butchers
  5. from what i know, which is bugger all really, the new 07 ashtons are/wer due out late february. and again from what people where saying(topic in trials chat the other day) the frames pretty much the same as the mark5 justice, just a few refinements(new gussets, possibly a disk mount, etc). so cant see it losing the seat.
  6. some of howies stuff isnt even that expensive, when compared to low quality, overpriced, brand name products. as for the example, thats one of the worst examples there is in my eyes, yea skoda changed for the better. by becoming very similar to the company that took them over. which is not what Id want to see from howies. Id like howies to stay reasonably small time. niche, totally organic, none commercialized. just better funded. with some of the pressure off its workers
  7. everything, we currently maintain all bt vehicles, all g4s(securicor) vehicles, central networks. transco, national grid, scotia grid, scottish power, thames water. transport police, johnsons paint, kwik fit vehicles. no matter who breaks them, also do private work, but that just generally annoys me, as half the time its a vehicle youve never seen and have no manuals for. and any damage you can do to a bt vehicle by shunting it off ur drive, is very little, compared to some of the stuff we see. unfortunately dont get to body repairs or paint. unless its fibreglass, or minor painting( bumpers, fibreglass panels, trim, mirrors, etc). which is a shame. cos its the bit of the job i enjoy the most.
  8. actually been thinkin about it, it is a possibility, and would be lighter etc. if u ran hose down into ur headtube, and in the middle had a kind of universal joint. ( thinking a ball and socket kinda set up, with ports in both ball and socket, so hydraulic fluid cud run through, that could then spin just as freely. either that or a kind of twin ended piston, that could twist. inside the headtube, would work, be out of the elements and lighter too.
  9. theres no way a hose down the headtube would work, is there??? i just cant see it in my head myself. care to explain, via words or drawings, as im rather intrigued.
  10. not meaning to take the mick here, but cameras arent allowed at work, yet you work from home. just take pictures when your working from home. meh, as for me, im a lowly bt fleet vehicle technician. i attempt to repair vans, that people like bongo break, every single day.
  11. someone tried that to me, it was well funny for me, not for them though. they didnt stand close enough, so i just stumbled back, and accidentally kicked him in the face, resultin in a loose tooth, and a whole lotta blood. was definately a do-er in my books.
  12. i wouldnt be looking at how much it costs to fill. its how far that tank will get you for the cost. having a small tank doesnt make a bike cheaper to run, it just makes you visit the pumps more often.
  13. well want one, as im goin through a phase of wanting to learn tailwhips etc on me trials bike. but wonder how well itll work, and if its quality outweighs the cheapfullness of a long braided hose.
  14. 1)dont fail to maintain ur king so it slips when backhoppin down steps. 2) dont continue to ride said king for rest of day 3) dont try learning new tricks, then go to give a hefty kick once more, on said king, without having cleaned it out.
  15. add to that about 50% of the people in the world, are below average. and 75% of all people make up 3/4 of the world population. A ducks quack does echo. a man can drink 48 shots of corkies on a saturday night, and still be alive to tell the tale. as for the elbow licking, its not impossible to lick your elbow. its a very unusual trait, but sure i saw a video on the net, wen i was in school, of some gangly canadian lad doing it.
  16. top gear repeats. wednesday bbc2 7pm, or saturday bbc3 7.05 pm.
  17. 26" mod means you run 116mm rear hub spacing, so youll be running SS,snailcams. no tensioner. so no mech/hanger to smash up. which is something i was thinkin the other night, on conventional trials bikes its a pretty poor idea in my opinion. however. if it was put onto streety frames. to be used with chain tensioners. i think it would be a crackin idea, for street trials bikes. and for street bikes(as pure street. could run bmx coaster etc)
  18. yea but having a fish fingers, chips, and mushy peas on a wednesday evening is a bit different to changin your religion. as thats something you wouldnt normally do. where as he would normally eat, just else where. (unless hes a closet anorexic, in which case, starve on boy, starve on). personally id go for it now like, get the uncomfortableness over and done with. u gotta be used to eating formally with her, otherwise the marriage reception will be a right kefuffle. what with you having to dine in a seperate room, and then come in to listen to the speeches. just face it. but if shes awkward about it, and wants a fight. then just *bang* show her the strong arm.
  19. in poopipes absence someone must fill in for the great one, with his advice, so here it goes "kick her in the tits" and now for my view on the subject. go explain to her mum, preferably when shes not around and explain. as for the whole sometimes it seems she wants an argument, its cos she probably does. weve got a bloke at work, who will argue for the sake of it, just cos he aint had an argument in an hour or two. and i have to admit, on occassions. Ive so wanted someone to give me an excuse to kick off with them, or for them to kick off with me, just cos ill be in a stinker of a mood, and want to let off some steam, so i should imagine, it may be the same for her.

instrument panel, speedo points to 40, and the E on the fuel gauge is circled.
  21. great way to get yourself validated, ive reported this before it turns into a :
  22. i have to agree, 'spesh when hes messing around in the bowl kinda area, the bike just looks incredibly long for him. either that or he looked insanely short, and from what i can remember he isnt the shortest bloke in the world.
  23. had one as a first car. cant really find any faults for it being a first car, providin you can deal with the name/looks. but i found it to be very nippy for a 1.3(70 odd bhp, so same power as a 1.9d na 306, or a 1.4 306,focus,etc) but weighs pretty much nothing, handled like a go kart once id got some 15"s on it. went fast. had a nice japanese engine in, noisy, but seemed pretty bomb proof. found it dented pretty easy in places(tailgate etc) but guess thats what made it so light. if its a good price go for it, and its something different to the corsas, festas, 106's everyone has as first cars.
  24. its no where near as good as what as i was expecting, and the first episodes been the best, the rest have all been watchable though.
