bugger off and go live with JT! erm... a few reservations about it being on a road car(if your using it for being less restrictive etc) the way jardo has shown anything that has a downstream lambda probe is obviously going to take some engineering/bodging to get right, and not mess with the air/fuel ratios and the like. and if your having the valve downstream of the cat(and then downstream of the downstream lambda probe) i would imagine there would be an effect on the passing of exhaust gases through the valve(given that its going to be chopped into a standard exhaust system, were talking hitting a close butterfly valve, buffetting back into the gases running towards it then going out the pipe) thats most likely worse than it passing through the rest of the exhaust system. obviously if your going along the idea of designing a system around it, then its a different story, you divert the flow of gases into the silencers, and have them flow freely out the exit, rather than vice versa. my personal take, rather than a valve would be a back box. imagine that, but with a butterfly valve, right in the centre of the box(i.e next to the outlet pipe), with an outlet pipe round it, so that rather than going round the silencer, it literally goes straight through it. didnt the golf r32 have a variable exhaust pitch in relation to throttle position, vehicle speed etc?? (just thought its a bit more real world, and therefore easier to get tech info on, than astons and ferraris) would i buy one, most likely not, would I be peeved if i saw you on dragons den, with my idea in 12 months, most likely not, would i request that you make your sales pitch to deborah meaden rhyme, most definitely.

well jd I disagree with your disagreement, so I guess well just have to agree to disagree, unless you wanna argue about it?

erm kinda, depends on your insurance company, amongst other things. our local ford commericals garage(not suggesting you use them, its a bit of a trek) hires out connect vans at £65, and transit vans at £95 a week(other terms available), providing you provide your own insurance(now if the van is hired out already your fecked, as priority goes to people paying £60 an hour to get their vehicle fixed, if not anyone can make use of the service) then it just depends how much your insurance company would want to insure the van for the day over your car.

I didnt mean it in its literal sense, just that youve gone from a semi reasonable argument, to a pretty flawed argument, to just throwing insults at people. which is what you always seem to do when topics dont go your way, you just dont know when to go "actually, i havent really got anything to say here, ill just keep quiet, or admit im wrong" but instead, it ends up with you going to the default of throwing insults, or telling people how hard you are (like you just have about 4 posts up), or you just go on facebook and make a status about how shit tf is and how arguing on the net is stupid (but your more than happy to do it till your losing) You just cant admit when your wrong, and thats my point. Bit like the real life point you made about not backing down, I know plenty of people who dont back down, doesnt make them an idiot for doing it. the idiotic thing is what your basically doing now, your basically doing the internet version of standing their going "shut up you 4 eyed tw*t, your wasting your life in a crap job" to a bouncer. which in real life, makes you look like a tit to everyone apart from the 3 people your with. exactly the same now, your throwing insults at marks optical disabilities, and just looking like an idiot to everyone on the forum, apart from ross and a couple of others. -

sorry, but im going to call you out on this. I dont ride much no more, just because im bored of it, and have kinda moved on. I didnt think ross's video was that good, but hes not exactly sh*t.(just to keep it on topic yanno) Ignoring the fact that I, who dont know Ali(maybe if he shagged around a bit more, id of met him at a swingers party or summit) was making a comment to Ross's video to poke fun/wind him up a bit(much the same as he does to everything that features anything more than 2 180's in one video). but everyone seems to think the street lot were taking it to heart. But your post just seems to reiterate your persona of E-hardman/E- c**t, once superiority over Ali's life because you've got your dick wet, and you've got a youtube based business plan is all gone, and we've ran out of rational arguments, you just throw insults at people, im expecting your next post to tell me that you'd batter me given half a chance. Whats the next step, well start slagging off each others mums. Seriously, when your argument has to stoop down to insults about the way people look, you've clearly got f**k all constructive to say, so whats the point, oh yeah, because your Danny feckin Kearns innit, and you always have to have the last word online. Once again, your sound in real life, but theres nothing cool about being an internet gangster. just accept youve got nothing to add to the argument and move on, people would respect you more for it than starting to bitch about the fact that mark's got less than 20/20 vision. -

in BC2, i always thought rush had a place, on the bigger maps, is amazing the way you could change a game, by playing as an assault, with an all kits gun (i was a saiga + magnum ammo kinda guy myself)and c4, you played smart, you could remove enemy vehicles, take down building round the m comms so people couldnt arm them, if attacking, you could go for the proper jew tactics of getting into the building with the m comm, throwing an ammo box in the corner, throwing all your c4 at the m comm, reloading yourself, doing it like 3 or 4 times, then just blowing the thing was just way more tactical than the kinda play COD could offer. ill be honest, im going to get the beta at somepoint, and give it a whirl(played it on a ps3 last night, but i hate console FPS'ing) but not going to put any real time into playing it till the 25th of october when i get the full game.

according to people on a couple of pc forums, that have managed to access the caspian border map, they're saying it couldnt be more different to the metro map that most people are playing, apparently the differences are astounding (Scope, playing style, visual effects etc) and that its just a way better experience. also arent the xbox and ps3 limited to 24 man servers and not 64, which will make a huge difference(on pc, i hated anything other than a 32 man server, taking 30 and 28 as absolute minimum, otherwise the maps either felt too small, or too empty) as for issues, think of all the call of duty issues, glitches, etc and this game has got a lot more new stuff in it (bearing in mind asfaik, the engine has stayed largely the sam since cod4, but world at war, mw2 etc still had loadsa glitches for ages after they came out, whereas this is a new game engine, granted theyve done the destroyable scenery before, but the possibilities for different destructions are so large, there is of course holes to be patched out. I think by mid november, bf3, on pc at least, will be friggin awesome.

few people on here have done it,albeit temporarily. depends how you want to do it, without a skilled trade, or a lot of money you cant just up sticks and move to places like that, you wont be able to(much like JT! and america, he couldnt work or even stay in the country, till he married his then GF) due to visas and immigration restrictions. you can get a working holiday visa for australia, which enables you to live there for 12 months, you can only stay at each place of employment for 6 months, many people do this, and float around bars, restaurants, farms etc, renewing the visas for a couple of years. but how you would transition from this to permanent life over there without a stroke of luck or the like i dont really know (as in i doubt i could go over there as a skilled mechanic, get a job in that kinda field and get settled enough to apply for a permanent visa within the 6 month window)

think its a step too late for that, been seeing, texting, stuck it in a girl i know a few times over the past 2 or 3 weeks, tonight she hit me with the "when are you changing your facebook status" "to what?" "no, your relationship status" "i dont have one on there" " well do you not think its about time you put one on there" WOAH WOAH WOAH margaret, im only tapping you, im sure as hell not in a relationship with you, and i'm fairly sure you didnt want me to stick a relationship status of single on there did you. why does everyone want commitment, and why do they only tell you after youve tapped them. I could chob this off now, and go back to my ex, on a purely sex and all you can eat buffet arrangement, but i know 2-3 weeks down the line, shed be asking what we are. -

how do i keep it casual, with a girl that wants more than casual? -
not my viewpoint here either, but who is to say living pursuing arts, music and being creative, is any better or worse than driving to the golf course in your jag, so you can have 18 holes of golf and enjoy whiskey older than the hooker your renting tonight. regarding the sweatshop slavery argument. its kinda flawed(As is my argument, but anyway) take some figures ive got here, the average hourly wage for a sweatshop worker is $0.44, which is about 30p. which sounds like slavery. but bear in mind in china the average wage is $2ish a day, so they are actually on above average wages. you could then say that doesnt matter a bit, as people are living in poverty, but less than 15% of people in china are classed as living in poverty, some organisations class over 20% off the uk as living in poverty. other arguments (less scientific) include the fact that in goa, you can buy pints of lager from touristy bars for 5p, meaning you could buy 6 pints with one hours sweatshop wage, in some places in the uk youd struggle to buy 2 pints with the wage of a checkout assistant, and even on my job, I think id probably see about 6 pints from an hours wages.

ended up being impatient awaiting a reply, drove out to ocuk yesterday and picked up a gigabyte z68xp-ud3, got 8gb of ddr3 1600mhz ram, and a 60gb ocz agility 3 ssd(and another hdd to supplement it) coupled with the 17 2600k i had waiting, and the gtx460 ive already got, this has been one super cheap build. whole lot has come to under £500 including case, psu etc. only thing i need to get is a new cd/dvd drive as the one i had was IDE

unfortunately as there is no gas on the street, things become way more complex. A boiler costs the same, but I can no longer use a mate to fit it with me/sign it off. so that means paying someone to fit it, the garden doesnt have space for an above ground tank, so the tank will have to be sunk below ground.its just a major ballache. as the whole system has to be certified safe, which either means having one company do the whole lot, or have multiple visits off an inspector (i cant just dig a pit, throw a tank in there, backfill it, run the pipe to the house and then get them to plumb in the boiler, theyd want to see the tank safely installed in the ground etc)

yea but im just giving my "explanation" on the whole thing, and the whole point is there are explanations for what happened (i.e the governments ones) but in a matter of minutes a person with an iq of around 140, with no interest in conspiracy theories, air craft and have never once watched 24 and very little gift of the gab. can produce alternative reasons, entirely more plausible than many ideas, and have a couple of people go "hey thats a pretty good theory" then a group of highly intelligent individuals, with several years, loads of research and a boat load more interest than me, should be able to produce some pretty convincing alternative theories, but it doesnt mean they're right. my personal belief, is there may well be a conspiracy, but it is way more likely to be as i said, either the us knew of a plan to hijack airliners, or knew of a plan to fly planes into buildings, but assumed they'd be cessnas or the like and let it happen. or something along them lines, i dont believe the us did it via autopilot and missiles, the attacks where real, whether they did all they could to prevent them, or fabricated some of the evidence to launch an attack on afghanistan without being able to prove it came from there. as for interviews on TV, i dont really believe anyone(well i do, but i know i shouldnt). Ian Huntley gave a tv interview after killing 2 schoolgirls, no one saw through that, after what hed done, with no acting background, no answers, no rehearsals. Shannon Matthews had everyone fooled when appealing for news on her daughters kidnap, and I would imagine she could count her braincells on her 11 toes. So to believe a "pilot" who if he was a pilot would most likely have rehearsed the interviews, had training on it, and thats before you think it may not have actually been a pilot and either a government offical, or an actor paid by the bush administration.

my views, planes did hit the twin towers, the twin towers did fall due to the planes hitting them. however the fact of whether the hijackers where who america said they were, whether america knew of a terrorist attack of some kind prior to 9/11 are all up for debate. look at it this way, america needed a war, america heard of an impending terror attack regarding the hijack of civilian air craft on US soil, they allow it to happen knowing it would create a war, thinking maybe worst case scenario, the hijackers would kill everyone on board.but in reality something much worse happens, that they were neither prepared for, or knew how to handle. Would explain stuff like the ac130 above washington, the military carrying out "exercises" that day, the f16's heading towards the atlantic. (thinking the jets would be hijacked and either flown around for a bit, or brought to land somewhere else, till demands where met). but is still something they could never admit. A lot more plausible, a lot less far fetched(america allowing a couple of hundred people tops to die, to give reason for a war). *this proves how easy it is to create a conspiracy theory, ive just created this one now, in about 10 minutes, with no real knowledge or interest in the thing, as far as i can see it doesnt have too many holes, when enough people are creating conspiracy theories, some of them are bound to line up all the dots, doesnt mean they are true

mechanic on the fleet side, which hopefully takes the sting out of car issues. I fully intend to overpay, but my main issues is, I cant guarantee that i can afford to overpay, after all bills, id have £700 of basic pay left, which should sort me out fuel, food and another £450 for general living, but im all to aware I will be wanting to do stuff to this house, and itd be all to easy to end up with sod all each month for like 3 months if i wanted a new tv, and a bathroom suite. if i upped my mortgage payments to £500 for a 15 year term, id only have £250, which means something like a new combi boiler could skint me for 6 months!!!
-
yea my mate can sign it off. yea, for example the house i was looking at, was basically a fully functioning shell, it had electric, and water, and electric ducted hot air central heating. the house further down the street is going for £30k more. but you start adding up your expenses Central heating £7000 (no gas on the street, so its lpg, oil fired, or ground source heat pump (i could go air source, but would still need electric underfloor or the like for when it gets colder) upvc double glazing £3500 kitchen £3000 complete rewire £400 (just materials) bathroom £900. + £5000 on other crap (carpets/laminate flooring, beds, paint, loft insulation, interior doors, new felt roof on the utility room) and your only 11k short off the completed house, add in all the additonial time spent on it. and its just not as appealing.
-
pretty cool, was looking at a very similar project myself a couple of weeks back, however that house has now gone, so its back on the look. going to be doing practically everything myself. (rewire is going to be a joint effort between me and a mate, central heating, im basically getting the boiler plumbed into the gas supply, and then installing rads, pipework myself)- well at least that was the plan in the place i had lined up. just trying to find another house now, in a state of semi disrepair. im finding way too many houses that are up to scratch, for only 10-15 grand more, which makes the whole idea just a little bit less appealing.
-
have already looked into this, along with other options, and ive figured 25 or possibly 40 (since i have now started looking at 3/4 bed places, i.e places i wont need to move from) is a more sensible term for the mortgage. as it gives me way more flexibility with my life. Im looking at mortgages, which let you make overpayments of £500 per month. so i can always pay off more if i can afford it, (if work is good, and i have a lodger in, I can make overpayments way past this, but i can just stick that lot in a savings account, which will be paying near enough the same as the apr on my mortgage) but it means if i dont get a lodger, or work goes crap(or even i lost my job) I could still afford to pay the mortgage and bills by going labouring/packing or whatever.(not to mention, the current one ive looked at, if you make overpayments, you are then allowed to make underpayments to the same amount till it balances out if needed). Also means if i have a big unexpected bill come up or the like, I can just stop overpaying for a month or 2. My deposit is already in place too, my shares are staying in share plans atm, just saying that hopefully at the end of the fixed term, whatever is outstanding, will be paid off by whatever i own in shares.
