right went to comet today, they said "ooh we havent had one of these back yet", yet strangely they knew the exact procedure and the numbers to ring off the top of their heads. apparently apple uk, who would furnish comet with a right off reference number dont work sundays, so now im popping into a different comet tomorrow, and there gunna exchange it for another one, its mighty annoying it, it functions fine, but wants a few hours to cool off after a sync, just plug it in, let it sync with no songs to change, and itll crash for a minute or two, just stuck 1026 songs on it, and its been crashed for about 35 minutes, stuck 7000 on it last night, and it was crashed for several hours. apparently album artwork was the key to me problems, but i just deleted it all, and its still the same.(and coverflow looks decidedly crap without album artwork) also anyone got any idea how to stick video on the thing?

see i thought it was fine, but its just kicked itself into the monochrome apple again(grantes its prettier than the windows bsod equivalent), and its been stuck there several minutes now, tempted to just go and try and change it now, but really want be arsed driving to get one to find its working as soon as i get there.

thanks for the help, but oddity of odditys, as i said last night i couldnt get itunes to recognise it or anything, so could update the software or anything on it, couldnt get it past the monochrome apple screen. so left it in the box last night with the apple monochrome appearing(it had been left like that for 40 minutes or so before i put it in there) got up to take it to the shop at 9.30 today, finally crawled out of bed at 10, and went downstairs after getting dressed, to find the screen had gone black, and thought "mmmm, maybe it gots a flat battery so turned itself off, aparently thats fixed them according to some web forums, but i pressed the play key, and it came straight on, fully working, listened to a song, battery was near enough full, plugged it into me pc, let it sync, downloaded and installed the software update and all appears fine.

to go a little deeper into this, whos to say death is even the end??? as we only know whats present in this life(in fact we dont even know that, all we know is whats in our own heads, and even thats just our interperetation of things we think we are seeing, touching, feeling , smelling etc) this life as we know it, may just be a dream were having in a sleep in a deeper life, who knows, all this could be in your head,in your dream. all of us dont exist, were just characters in your dream. likewise this life may just be a pre life, we may be given this short time on "earth" as we know it, to prove wether we are worthy to live in the real civilization. whos to say were not all some characters in a mmorpg. whos to say this isnt heaven/hell and weve already lived, but we have no recollection of our previous lifes(much in the same way people claim to remember a previous life in the 1600's etc, and most of us dont have any recollection of ours, similar kind of idea) although i fail to see how i got into heaven, short of saving the world, unless god was looking the other way from 1997-2006? and it cant be hell, cos claire from hero's is here. (although maybe in heaven id be married to her) this whole universe could be a science experiment for some alien creatures, our whole universe could be contained in one of their test tubes. as size is only relative to what we know, in relation to them, we could be the size of a single atom. but well never know. theres my post on just how insignificant/significant we may or may not be.

well ive got varying heights, my hgv medical stated 6"2, but ive been measured at 6"5 before, and standing under a door theres 1"-1.5" of space, so id say between 6"4 and 6"5. as for their heights unsure. just seem to remember them being called tall on many an occasion

right, bought a 160gb ipod classic today, and it appears nice. thats it. as far as it goes, it appears nice. ive owned an ipod in the past it was great. so updated me itunes, let it analyse gapless playback, got me album art for most of me albums. synced me ipod, all was fine, i ejected the ipod. all was fine, i then went to movies and it didnt have any on there, which was odd id got 5 music videos. i then thought. meh, no worries, maybe you have to manually sync them. plugged me ipod back in, and that was it, "itunes cannot recognise this ipod currently" so i unplugged it, tried to turn it on, to no avail, so i tried resetting it, it comes to the apple logo and no more. so i can either have it reset with a short press, to bring up the monochrome apple logo, and thats as far as i can get, or i can have it pressed longer, so the whole screen goes black, at which point it will come up with the "itunes cannot recognise this ipod currently" or somesuch message. first of all is actually broken or am i a total noob? secondly, can i fix it myself in anyway(aint got a clue, but something like a program you install on your pc that resets your ipods firmware, or gives you the latest firmware to install on it from its dead state(it said it needed an update, i just clicked "update later" at the time) thirdly hows the best way of getting this sorted. i was told by the bloke at comet when i purchased it they couldnt look at it under warranty without an apple reference number. however as its within 16 days am i entitled to just walk in there tomorrow and demand my money back/ another new item? or does the apple reference number not allow them to do that, or if i can do that, but only with an apple reference number, is there anyway i can get an apple reference number before midday tomorrow? if i walked into an apple store could i have it fixed instantly(i cant see how its dead, think it just confused itself getting plugged into the pc, and has either crashed itself, or gone into a sort of lockdown mode) by them just pluggin it into a special mac with special programs on it? or if they couldnt fix it instantly could they furnish me with a new ipod? basically i just want it fixed tomorrow. even if that means driving 60 miles to manc to get it fixed. thats no biggie for me. always got people i can pop in and see make it more of a useful trip. but i dont want to drive 60 miles for them to go, yes we can do that, itll take 14 days to be returned to you, or them to say "youll have to go to comet, and get there approval" ideally if i could just walk into comet and have them exchange it it would be ideal. but can i do this

according to something on msn homepage a while back(top 10 jobs for school leavers or something) you could be a trucker without a proper hgv test(i.e you take a written test, have a half arsed medical, and your on your way) might be less your idea of hell(if someone asked me if id like to drive big rigs, id just jump at the chance, but local multi drop and the like probably wouldnt be too shabby either. as for the taxi driver thing, it migh be your idea of hell, but again if someone said to me "right go to america, stay at hayden panietterres place for a few months, youve got to get a job for a bit, before you get married, then you get citizenship and a proper job" id shovel dog crap 12 hours a day for the next 18 months. get what im saying, if shes worth all this(due to my attitude on dating, sex, relationships and young love. i dont quite comprehend how hard you must of fallen for her, and the lengths your willing to go to) surely shes worth being a cabbie for a bit for.

was originally gunna go satans, make some shapes, then lounge around tomorrow, and go kitch tomorrow night. but im way too ill to be goin out. also decided tonight, im gunna kick my training up the arse a bit more next week, still gunna weight train 4 days a week, but thinkin about starting cardio 3 nights a week too. and beasting the press ups in the morning before work. so this kinda means, ive possibly passed up on me last chance of goin out on the drink this year, but then its a money saver/healthy option. so tonight im sitting in, thinkin about packagin up some ebay gear, eatin tuna and a small jacket potato, doing some press ups, and debating goin for a walk. might watch oceans 13 in a bit.

jt, would you be travelling back and to between the states and here much(i.e once every couple of months) or like 1 every couple of years for a week or so? the way i see it, with most of my stuff, its either cheaper than wat i payed for it, if id of bought it in the us, or its bought from the us and shipped across here, because it works out stupidly cheap to do it that way. give you some examples of stuff and the difference in prices. mates gf has currently gone over to the us of a, shes bringing him back 3 24-70L canon dslr lenses. shes paying £480 a lens over there, theyll sell on ebay over here for £650-700(Depending on if he waits till the end of rebate season or not), works out even bigger margins if your buying second hand stuff(hint hint, dont look at how mike singleton makes some cash) i just ordered some clothing from the us, not as such designer stuff, more motocross casual stuff, fox, alpinestars etc, its all way under 50% of the cost of it over here. ($80 dollars for an £80 hoodie you cant actually get hold of in this country for love nor money, well you couldnt when i came to order the stuff) i just ordered some motox dvd's from the us, they again cost me under half what they wer selling for on ebay in this country. not to mention nowhere in this country had nitro circus 5, the new romaniaks, or the 2007 erzberg dvds in. now obviously you could pick what you want from that lot, but could really see something such as extreme sports and the like dvd's selling well. if you could sort something out, even just buyin individual dvds and selling them on ebay.co.uk, with pound symbols and everything, listed as selling from the uk. you can make £10 a dvd buying single dvds(as the value is under £18 you aint gunna get stung with vat/import tax/duty etc). dont have to be a mathmatician to work out you only need to sell 6 dvds a week to make that £60 you need(youll make about £11 a dvd, and itll cost you under £3 a dvd to post) till youve made some profit, theres no real risk involved, you dont even have to have the dvd your selling, providing you knows bills bikeshack or kates ktm dealers has new world disorder, or erzberg 2007 sittin on there shelf at $17 dollar, you can go sell it on ebay.co.uk for £20 with shipping or whatever, wait till youve been payed via paypal, go buy the dvd from the shop, and post it off. obviously once youve made a couple of hundred quid, and know what sells well, it may be worth either keeping a few of them dvds in stock, to save popping to the shop so often/ starting to find out where youd buy dvds in quantities of 25 or 50 in, and how much of a saving youd make on them. motocross helmets are another big earner, justin wilson(top uk enduro rider) was talking to one of the blokes i work with the other week, and hed just been out to the us racing with david knight (probably the top extreme enduro rider in the world right now). hed bought a helmet over there, he payed $80 for it(£40 quid at the time) over here its a £280 helmet, which would obviously be a stupid good earner, but i dont know many people who buy helmets without trying them on, especially not £280 ones. only speaking on what i know. theres probably plenty more(£75 mark up on an ipod hardly seems worth it for the hassle/duty risk) that you could look into if you did some research. (skateboard parts, designer hats, watches, possibly xc frames???) games( a lad one of my mates used to live with, used to buy all his ps3/xbox360 games off a lad who he went to college with, whod moved to canada, this lad sold games on ebay.co.uk too for £15ish a game profit, sometimes more on pre release stuff) womens perfume. designer mens underwear. go do some research.

mine doesnt run RaConfig, but it runs another a program, and always gives me a choice/selects the first one automatically. however, if you can go into raconfig(or whatever your wireless card/sticks connection program is called) trawl through the options and when it comes to "connectivity client" or "connection program", may be able to tick windows wireless control, or windows zero, or whatever. and either untick the other one, or just have the one selected. pretty long shot, and probably not quite how you do it for yours, but it worked for mine.

possibly yes, theres sometimes signals the alternators going(the light comes on at idle, and dims as you rev it, proves its not working properly, but it is at least providing some charge ) but other times it will just come on and stay on. other signs are the rev counter stopping working(no idea why this is, but its relatively common on old school isuzu engined vaux's, the rev counter goes, a few hundred miles later, the alternator just stops working totally)

u got access to a multimeter, check the voltage going to the battery with the engine running, should be around 14v with all the lights off etc, if its below that, then theres a problem with the alternator, leaving you with a car that could potentially cut out at any time(no power means no spark. no spark means no combustion, means no go) and as much as i thought echo josh was an idiot for using a fila tracksuit to check the poppets below your head gaviscon or whatever he was on about. his new car comment, may of almost been accurate. new alternator should set you back less than £100 to buy yourself. (theres some new ones on ebay, for the golf 1.4-1.8, but strangely only fits the 1.4 polo for £60). best place to source alternators new cheaply/get them tested is lsuk, theres one in manchester not far from trafford centre. theyll charge like £4 to inspect/test it if its removed(and tell u if it can be fixed or needs a new one, and chances are they wont want much more to do the removal/testing on the vehicle) also forgot to ask, is the light on constant, or does it go out/dim as the engine revs get higher???

lol, me and my mates wer discussing manc nights out and our thoughts on them wer pretty much this, its all full of 17/18 year olds who are so pretentious etc. then we also realised weve been goin 5th ave, satans, kitch, 42's etc since we wer 17/18. its not that its now full of young tossers, it always has been, its just now were not young tossers and look down on their pitful behaviour.

pectorl fly's lie flat on your back, arms oustretched crucifix style, then without bending your elbows, lift your arms up, keeping your hands inline with your chest, till they meet to make a clapping position in front of your chest. that my son is a pectoral fly. of course you add might amounts of weights and make beefy grunting sounds when doing it properly

nah thats ideal for doing the leg extensions/curls, theres not much you can do to replicate that without restricting the movement. thatd be a wise purchase, that, a 6 foot barbell, and 2 dumbells, and a selection of weights, would be far better than a multigym. i was more referring to i dont think the cable kind of multigyms with leg press boards, and bench press/pec fly machines that all pivoted.

plyometrics can be done with little to no equipment, its how its generally done, its probably more what youd be after, it works by having an open ended movement(i.e the movement doesnt stop due to the length of your arms/length of your muscles, more it carries on past that, using the inertia youve created) and then once the movement is past its peak its using the downward pressure/weight to act like a spring. suppose in a trials sense, itd be like youd crouch as for a sidehop, explode up (forget the sideways motion), past full extension, with the bike jumping into the air, pulling yourself up, tucking the bike, then extending so your fully extended on landing(similar to the exact moment of take off) and using your body weight coming down to force you into another crouch, as soon as you hit the bottom of it, jumping back up. kind of pogo stick style. as for standard freeweights, as your going to likely be swapping weights round etc, id suggest getting some with metal spin lock clamps, the whole reason i rarely use my freeweights (i bought them cheap off someone) are because theyve got plastic collars that slide over, with a plastic bolt going through them, they constantly loosen. exercise wise, theres not a lot you can do to build leg power using freeweights other than squats, in one of tra's old old videos(like back in the days of the echo es-4 and the like, and the big 120mb echo 4 and 5 vids) hes doing plyometric squats, which i assume is what gave him beasty sidehops for the time. u can kind of do leg extensions and curls(sitting on a chair, and lying face down on the floor/bed respectively) with a dumbbell clamped between ur legs, but its not very effective, as by the time your working your quads, the barbell will of slipped out from between your feet.
