never done it, but it sounded interesting, so i looked into it just then, as it kind of appeals to me, (3 weeks travelling for £175+ accomadation(get overnight trains and sleep on them, youth hostels etc would be nice and cheap) appeals to me) spanish bit in detail shows the train lines running through spain, as it shows theirs a fairly wide service to barcelona, from paris, valencia and madrid (and irun, but ive never heard of it so probably wouldnt stop their) the big map just shows the capitals and the amount of coverage given in that country, not the actual routes.

yea i love dirt, but theres not enough rallying in it, too much buggy, raid and truck racing for me. also one thing that will really bug you once you find out about it(right now if you dont already see it) the cars turn on a central pivot. also once you get the pug/citreon 4wd rally cars, all the 4wd rallies get to easy. also some of its infuriating annoying, classic 4wd australia is just so annoying, the lighting makes it proper hard to see and theres too many trees, must of done those stages in the classic impreza 30 times before i got it right.

i wouldnt say so much their set up, but the fact of the matter is, apart from possibly katsidis(see thats a fight i want to see in case you havent got the message) and diaz, khan is the best boxer in the lightweight division in the world at the moment. but, youve got to get some fights behind you, before you can take a world title shot, hes got to work his way up on the domestic boxing, then the european/commonwealth before he takes the world title shot. the people hes fought have been ranked similar to him on their record etc, it just happens that khan is a beast. (much like when celtic and rangers where on about goin into the english league, they could just go into the premiership where they deserved to be, theyd have to go up through the leagues before they got a shot at the premiership). as for him knocking people out to quick, at the moment he doesnt want a long sluggin match he wants to distroy fighters and get the big ppv's,wants to get his name around as someone whos unstoppable, not only that he wants to end the fight quick, so hes ready to fight again as soon as possible, because he wants bragging rights of gaining the title at a younger age than naseem did. hes got 10+ years to get the big money PPV fights.

ricky was a hell of a fight, although i think that fights took a lot out of him, people saying he was going to retire if he lost, dont think thats going to happen just yet, but may not be that far off now. as for khan, the mans a stupid good fighter, still hate all the hype surrounding him, and the way he takes that hype on board. its getting more like wrestling with the trash talking. danny, dont make me laugh, if the guys a streetfighter rather than a boxer, then hed be more likely to annihilate you outside the ring, where he can street fight properly, and if your talking in the ring, surely you do karate aint it, not boxing. so cant see you being any better than him. as i say, give him katsidis, another undefeated fighter, and itll be a good fight.

want to know the meaning of kick in the bollox, bit the bullet after working out how far id have to drive to the nearest pub showing the fight, and how no one was willing to buy it out of my stingy friends, that id go buy it on the cc myself, kick back and watch it(this was about 9.30 pm) only to find out that i cant get ppv on my skybox, because of an incompetent sky engineer(they hardwired my sky box into me phone line, rather than a seperate plug going into it, so when broadband arrived i had to take the wires for the skybox out of the phone socket so i could get bb, we had a sky engineer out to give us a new box under warranty not soo long ago, he supposedly wired the phone line back in, evidently not, and not only that he didnt reset the box to our card or something, so no ppv events could be enabled) so thought no biggie, ill just watch it on tvu/sopcast. (ran both on me previous laptop with pretty good success rate) but oh feckin no, none work on vista. so i thought, ill go to channel surfing theyve always got windows media player streaming links, but the one link which wasnt sopcast based has just been deleted. so im sitting here with no fight access, debating goin to bed then getting up at 6 and goin on a rs.com hunt to get it, or staying up,listening to it on the radio, or staying up and just dling it at the end.

gars of war is entertaining but the graphics are a bit dark and dismal and its short, id suggesting setting aside a weekend to play it, renting it out and playing it solidly for them 2 days, completing it, job done. the thing with gears of war, everythings really intuitive after a bit, apart from grenade throwing which is a total arse. all the time. im currently a fan of buyin the old second hand games and playing them to death pes6 for £7, bargain gamage their(when you consider i dont play online, so cod4 is £40 for 8 hours gaming) skates immense, although a bit frustratin when you try and tony hawk the first few hours of it, but once you get used to it, it just feels right, and theres a real sense of achievement when you land a sweet line, unlike in tony hawks when you know it was just button pressing. i remember how poor i was at the start of skate, struggled for ages to do 400 point lines etc, wherease now everythings natural and real easy. it is an easy ish game to complete(for me it was anyway, although a lot of people seem to get to certain photo challenges and just get stuck) as soon as you get the hang of the controls, and timing etc. but i can still go on it and just skate around for a bit having fun(unlike tony hawks, where its every goal and job done) crackdowns a right good game for its bargain bin price, i got it in a deal with my 360 in march, it kept me entertained for weeks, and ive seen it some places for £12.99. if your hard up, i wouldnt worry about buyin the latest games, theres so many classics you can waste hours and hours on(also check out xbox live marketplace(free with silver membership) and play some of the demos, youll see whether you like a game, and it will waste several hours of gaming)

katsidis in the next fight or 2 anyone.
-
f**k me, that left rattled earl, then another left and he was down, 8 count, another quick flurry and it was all over.
-
francis looked good in the ring, may be a bit old for a world title shot, but if he threw his right more and took the risk(which he surely would do for a world title fight). and the pre fight from khan just confirmed my point that khans being hyped up, and hes lapping it up himself. going to be a good fight i hope. want earl to have it, but unsure.
-
helluva 7th round from francis
-
whos watching commonwealth light heavyweight now on itv4? dean francis hasnt thrown a right handed punch in 9 minutes of fighting now!!!!!

yea i did that, didnt make that much difference, was up to 1.5 days rather than 1 day. however as times gone on its got better, im up to a good 3 days or so now. mine didnt crash after i updated the firmware 6 hours after getting it. its a great phone, sent mine back under warranty as it had a faulty earpiece after 5 months of use, but... im rough with me phones to say the least, in me pocket at work all day, in me pocket on the motorbike when i fall off in stupid deep mud, dropped on the beach a few times, numerous drunken drops etc.

erm, its £15 for that and 3 other title fights, its going to be 5 hours entertainment altogether,no more expensive than seeing 2 crappy hollywood films in some big room where the seats are sticky theres kids throwing popcorn and your kneecaps need to removed to fit in behind the chair in front. its all what appeals to you, to me paying £200 an hour to have some middle aged tart dressed in leather and pvc, kick you in the bollox, doesnt appeal to me, but theres obviously a market for it. as for the comment about boxing. its no less of a sport than golf, darts, bowls, snooker, etc, but all get regular media coverage. brain damage, meh its their choice to fight, if someone said to me ill give you several million pounds to spend loads of time in the gym, and to be become a national star. but youll die at 62, id jump at the chance. at an amateur training kind of level, its no more ridiculous than shelling out thousands of pounds to hop around on a bike way too small for you that you cant even use to go anywhere, is probably a damn site better for your health, a lot more handy in real world situations(up town on a saturday night, bloke tries to start on you, 46" taps aint going to help you get out of that one unscathed, but a quick couple of jabs may give you enough time to get out of there). and is most certainly cheaper(even to kit yourself out with a heavy bag, speedball, mitts, gloves, pads, helmet, shorts, boots, some trackies, tees, and running trainers to train in, your not looking at much over a couple of hundred quid, and thats overkill, can generally just go to training sessions for say £2 a week and thatll do you)

yea £15 for that and 3 other title fights, really want to buy it, but £15 is a lot to me right now, like more than ive got

i hate khan with a passion, and think he is over rated(hes good, but hes still rather young, think people are putting too much emphasis on him too early), totally different bloke to the olympic silver medalist. but hell win tomorrow unless earl lands a big punch in the first couple or rounds. (which is quite unlikely, as he aint exactly a hard hitter). as for the hatton vs mayweather, i aint bought it, ill download it like 2 hours later. really want hatton to win, in my opinion, if it goes the distance mayweathers got it, but im generally expecting it to be stopped (probably 6th or 7th at a rough guess) and hatton to win. EDIT : Earl is just another fighter chucked in the mix for khan to beat, its the way it goes, the blokes got a short reach, and doesnt hit that hard, admittedly he gets up nice and quick, comes back for more etc, but thats just for the fans, so they can see khan hit him hard again. also khan stands to lose little from this, he wins, hes the great sportsman the papers are overhyping him to be, he loses, hes got a rematch with him in the contract. so hell make his money again. also my hate of khan isnt really a hate of him, its more the media hype surrounding him, and he seems to lap it up, hes a young fighter doing well, hes just become a household name, and so has got really rich of it nice and quick. whereas fighters that in my eyes are equally as good if not better than him (willie lammond for example, theres a rematch needed if ever i saw one) and no ones heard of them. michael katsidis would wipe the floor with him i reckon, but mention michael katsidis to most people and theyll never of heard of him

right, dont know the exact passage from the mot testing/inspection manual. but.... all mounting points should be secure. including the bolt, the mount, and the place it is mounting too there should be holes within 12 inch of the mounting point(rusted holes, not regular drilled holes, unless there to the point where the panel is stupidly weak, in which case see above.) they should have a locking device(buckle) which is operable using one hand only. and should obviously lock and release fine. although as far as harnesses are concerned, they should by law be eec approved for highway use otherwise theyll fail an mot(unless the car was before a certain date in which case this rule doesnt apply, but i cant remember the date). and if there eec approved obviously the buckle etc wont be an issue

not being funny, but generally if you get in most place, the places that are strict are also the ones that wont let you in with fake i.d's, theres some places its just hard to get into till your 18, no matter what you do. i just used to blag it, think it worked as much as having a fake id to be honest. favourite one used to just carry cash on me, no wallet, no bank card(which is a semi sensible idea when out on the lash anyway) and if anyone asked for id. "look mate, really sorry, went out on tuesday night, managed to lose me wallet, look ive got nothing other than cash, no bank cards, no wallet, nothing, " then when asked about passport either just say i didnt have one, or i wasnt willing to bring it out with me because i was going skiing/on 18-30/family vacation or if im in a city i clearly aint local in(this worked several times in bristol) "ive just been sent down here with work, i didnt think id need me driving license for anything so didnt bring it incase i lost". dont get me wrong, it failed plenty of times, but i never got caught trying to use a fake id. as it generally makes things awkward for you (if your goin the same place every week, blagging it past a bouncer, means that either no ones noticed you goin other than that bouncer, or his mates have just seen him let you in, meaning next week, youll either try the same story again" driving license still aint arrived" or if its a small place the bouncers may of seen you in there last week and just let you through. but try and hand over a fake id, have 3 of them work out its fake and turf you out, and if it aint a big place, and you go there often, theyll remember you for ages.

your bullshitting knowledge is amusing and scary at the same time.(after telling tomm to remove his headgasket to check his tappets and that it was a simple job i tend to take a lot of stuff you say with a shovel sized pinch of salt) 1) you cant buy tax for 1 month, its 6 or 12 months. 2) you cant get your money back on the 1 months tax that you cant buy. the cheapest way you could do it is to buy 12 months tax, drive it back to wales on the 12 months tax, when you get back you surrender your tax before the end of the month and sorn your vehicle. you then only lose 1 months tax.its impossible to lose any less than this. 3) you cant buy tax without mot or insurance. 4) you cant drive a car round providing its got an mot booked. you can drive a vehicle directly from its place of keep or repair, to a pre booked mot, and then if it fails, you can drive it directly back home again, or to a place of repair. key words here are "pre booked mot" "directly" and "to a place of repair or an mot station". basically he can only drive directly, the shortest route between his house and a test station legally speaking, of course the police leave some leeway, stopping at motorworld, or a petrol station would generally be tolerated out of common sense(unless you wer stopped doing 98mph on tescos pretrol station, in which case, better pass the soap). so he cant book an mot for a week on tuesday, drive his car round and then take it for mot after doing 1100 miles on it. the whole "closest test station thing" kinda holds some water, but its not totally set in stone, as prices for mot's vary, as do waiting lists. therefore its kind of generally accepted that a local test station is acceptable. the other option for taking it home, which is highly illegal, but providing your sensible and have someone whose vehicle fits the bill and there willing to be a part of it, its very unlikely youll get caught(its a lot more subtle than towing a clearly overweight car) is to find a mate with a white 205, borrow his plates and tax(or get him to get a new set of plates made up), go down their, bolt em on, stick the tax in the window and get him to drive it home, if the police stop him, its a taxed, insured, mot'd vehicle on the police records. its only when they look at vins that issues may occur, but unless you have a serious crash. then its little to worry about.
-
nah you still need insurance to drive to a test centre. you cant tax a vehicle till its moted and insured, so you cant get the tax till after the mot, and obviously it isnt practical to trailer every car thats ran out by a day to a test centre. as for the legality of towing a vehicle with no tax/mot/insurance. it all depends on the towing system used, obviously a trailer your fine, speaking to different people about this. ive had 2 different answers,(one lad works at a scrapyard, and does collections of vehicles etc, the other works for a local garage that does recovery/bodywork repairs). answer 1) if a vehicle is being towed, its classed as a trailer, and providing it meets the legal requirements for a trailer its fine. (i.e tyres, wheel bearings, sharp edges, lighting board) apparently this applies even when towing with just a bar between 2 towing eyes and having someone in the rear car steering + braking) the other said, providing the vehicle is being towed, and is rigidly connected to the towing vehicle, then its classed as a trailer, and falls under the same laws as above(so either a rigid tow frame, that clamps on the bottom arms, a towing dolly or a recovery frame). the second one sounds right, as the vehicle is being moved without needing any interference, so driving controls etc are not neccessary, and is the same as what the aa/rac/recovery companies use as for olis golf comment, how about my wrote off 306 on a big heavy duty recovery frame(talking a good 400kg+ frame here, big box section a frame, big vertical supports, pulley, winch, massive bar going across the bottom) being towed by a suzuki sj410 over the welsh mountains, now that aint legal, or sensible.
-
well the laws pretty clear, its just no one seems to know it. but the dvla are pretty much spot on(suprise suprise) if the gross train weight(convoy weight as you referred to it) is under 3500kg, then the tow car must be heavier than the tow weight. (supposedly its the kerb weight of your car and the gross vehicle weight off the trailers plate ( meaning you couldnt tow an empty car trailer due to the gross weight on the plate, but as most trailers dont have plates, its generally decided by the weight of the trailer) if the gross train weight excees 3500kg, then the maximum towable is 750kg(so if youve got a 3500kg class vii commercial vehicle(transit 1 tonne chassis cab etc) or a 3500kg class iv car/dual purpose vehicle(landrover defender/discovery etc) you can tow a 750kg trailer. before 1997 and its pretty much you can tow anything providing the towing vehicle is heavier, till you get to 8250kg(but this now requires a b+e license), then its gets more complex again(as it then requires a c1+ e, or a c+e license, but back on most old farts licenses, this is class 1 hgv, class 2 hgv, at which point i have no knowledge of it). what gets stupid is, ive done the training to drive a 7.5tonne truck, just failed the test for excessive speed. i can drive one perfectly adequately.but my mum whos never driven anything bigger than a ford transit(which she drove once, previous to that its a family estate car) could legally jump in one and drive one. she could also sit next to me and have me drive one on L plates perfectly legally. which also applies to your towing situation, if you can find someone whos held a driving license since before 1997, you could sit them in your passenger seat, stick L plates on it, and tow all day.
-
chances of him being able to tow a light car are very slim, unless the car and trailer either way less than 750kg, or his cars weight exceeds the weight of the towing dolley and the gross weight of the towed car, and it all comes under 3500kg. however there is a bit that stipulates"unless in event of an emergency" so you could possibly wing it that way(although how youd manage it im not sure, as its not like you could say the car broke down as you wer driving, so you parked it up went home and got your other car and dolly to move it as you wernt supposed to be driving it anyway due to no tax or mot) but i have to admit ive driven with trailers that dont conform to towing laws anyway, most police are slightly hazy on their knowledge of towing laws and ive never been pulled for it. not that i can advise this. best bet is find someone wholl do it for petrol money and a few quid like, who got their license before 1997 and has a decent towing vehicle.

yea you can buy it on at&t pre pay(but i think you have to fail the credit check before they will let you do it, you cant just buy it, they want you to buy it with a contract but will let you buy it on pay as you go over there if you really want too). its $499. Sir Joe Rothwell said it wouldnt work on uk networks, but theres unlocking programs on the net to allow this, however it may lock your iphone up if you go to update it. personally i wouldnt bother with the hassle(i looked into it) but if your going to do it, your best of getting one from america, as opposed to buyin one from the uk and not setting the contract up(due to the fact that theres no international imei database(in theory 02 could block your imei number if you bought one for £269 from the apple store, and then didnt set the contract up when you got home, at&t couldnt do that as theres not an international database, (hence the reason stolen phones are quite often shipped between countries))) EDIT : edited for technical correctness.
