  1. erm, Ben is supposedly now banished from the island by jacob. and in one of the flash forwards, he was found by 2 arabic men on camels with AK's in the desert, he then killed them, and stole their camel(actually they might of been horses, think my minds just stereotyped arabian men to riding camels here), at a guess when
  2. shhhhhh!!!!!! i just want stories of fatty being a minx with his trousers down getting numbers, told to me by elder members of TF
  3. was going to put you sounded like glen, but a bit less pathetic/stalkerish.
  4. Youll be fine fatty, just stick on some of your cool clothes, and youll be fine, spesh if your with a group of people who are all like 20, if you all get id'd just say you lost your wallet last weekend, and you dont have a passport/dont want to bring it out with you. theyll assume your all the same age, and chances are youll get in. Go on fatty, go clubbing with a bunch of TF lads, just so the forum can here tales of your drunken lairiness.
  5. Nah your not a total fag, but you may well end up kicking yourself in the morning, when you think "Man, i understand it wasnt going to work between me and her, but i could of still had fun tapping her for the next few weeks" think im turning down probably the fittest girl i can ever hope to sleep with, because its going to make things awkward for me with mates, and things awkward for my mates. but im now looking at another girl im texting, and thinking "shes nowhere as fit as kaye,i cant be assed with her" need some minger to turn me down, just too put me standards right back on the floor where they belong again.
  6. good luck dude. now who will i discuss boxing with when its on itv??? sweepstake on how long it takes him to pull the daughter of some rich oil tycoon and never have to work again?
  7. thhnk the actual number they always say is 7, but its in fact bollox, according to someone or other something that small will pass through your digestive system relatively quickly and easily.
  8. just out of curiousity, how much is everyone paying for insurance?? and for what vehicle?
  9. that was kind of my point, surely right now, theres an idiot who still rides, setting up a little high jump out of 3 broomsticks, and tomorrow will be ringing the guiness book of records, to see how much it costs to have an adjudactor (sp?) come out and authenticate the attempt. at least i know if i still rode, that would be what id be doing right now.
  10. nah, its a bunnyhop over a bar, going forwards not sideways. but still 94cm is ridiculously low. when i used to ride, and i was about 15, i had an azonic ds2, with judy xcs on the front, 32t bash etc. 8 gears on the back. and i was bunnyhopping 30" over a broomstale off fairly long grass. with probably a pretty gash technique. also at the same age, i could bunnyhop over the benches in the square in town. (standard kind of wooden benches) which must be well over 30", and had to clear the seat. (could do it both ways). also if i rode down me garden path, i could sometimes clear the fence at the end,and land on me wheels in the field(other times i couldnt clear the fence, and landed in the field, although not on my wheels - we now have a bit of a messy fence) but my point is, im sure i was hitting 85ish cm at times, at the age of 15, with a reasonably poor bike(i.e not geared to do that kind of thing, big dh tyres, loadsa extra weight etc) without really putting too much effort into that. surely someone in the world somewhere could well smash that now and be doing well over 1m +
  11. the problem is not so much with the cost of fuel as i see it. im paying £1.27 a litre for diesel, thats that. but its more how much the government are making on it goes up as the cost of the petrol/diesel goes up. in 2005 the government where making around 60p per litre on petrol/diesel in tax. now there making above 65p per litre. i understand oil prices have gone up, and the duty on fuel is calculated as a percentage of the fuel price, but surely shouldnt this be adjusted, so the government where making 60p a litre once more. dropping the price of fuel 5p doesnt seem like an awful lot (since i started driving, fuel has jumped up over 30p per litre, but its only costing me £8 a week extra, which isnt much) but to a haulage company, using 300 litres per wagon per day( a reasonable figure) then your talking like a £600 a week increase in fuel costs for each wagon on the road, and £100 per wagon per week extra in tax since i started driving in 2005. so if every wagon on the road is making the government an extra £100 a week more than it was 2005. surely the govermnent are making millions of extra pounds in fuel duty every week compared to what they where in 2005.
  12. sublime - 40oz to freedom. sh't dont get no better than this.
  13. Trials Landscapes - you heard it here second. meh, could collect fattys best/worst bits and compile them on the site, otherwise, how about a footwear based site?
  14. to be pedantic, so are winston churchill, ts elliot, and oscar wilde, but there still good quotes. the way i see it, maybe george best did have a bright future in football, and maybe he did cut his life short, but i think he had quite a lot of fun for the first 50 or so years of life.
  15. side missions, unique jumps, email missions(brucie etc), shoot all the pigeons, vigilante police missions, fly under all the bridges etc.
  16. tom, no offence meant, but 1)what exactly where you searching for in google to find that? 2) if its what i think it is? what kinda stuff are you into, and dont you have a girlfriend?
  17. I always thought it was just because it seemed easier. you can compare it to your wheels. and also, when taking off a a slightly unlevel surface, its easy to get a measurement thats one or the other with inches. so theres less argument over it. (say we used centrimetes, and someone was taking off an angled surface, landing to a flat one, itd be 33" in one place, and 34" 1 foot further down the slope. fairly easy to measure. but doing it with cm, every 3 or so inches, itd go from being 85cm, to 85.8cm (or 86 cm as itd be commonly rounded up to.) and youd get people bitching about cm's on side hops. and theres not much difference between a 118 and a 119 cm, i.e its the tread on your tyres, whereas to move up an inch, is a noticeable difference.
  18. Id be tempted to get yourself a heli coil kit, would only be about £30 even if you had to have it shipped from the uk (i payed £21 for mine, with 60 inserts), means you can do yours+ 14 of your mates bikes, then just order another set of inserts for like £5 for 50 posted to japan(approx) and thats coming from the uk,chances are you can get them cheaper than we can from the uk.
  19. yea, i had to do this a while back, but it triggers it over a thousand pounds before you hit the limit, and even then it will accept money into your account, it just wont let you get it out of your account. I had to verify my account via phone(automated touch tone thingy, you enter your number in, they ring you, and at the same time a code comes up on your screen, you type the code in and hang up, job done) and via my bank details, you get like 2 small amounts took out of your account, and deposited in your paypal account. and then filled the form out, but i had an option to tick for "personal user" as mentioned before its to do with EU laws on money laundering, same reason if you go to the bank and withdraw £4999.00 they will do it without asking you any questions generally. (sometimes they enquire what its for, but theres no formality) but try and withdraw £5000.01, and you have to answer security questions, fill in a short form etc, same with paying in money, but ive never had that.
  20. dont get me wrong, you should sample 5th ave, with a bunch of mates one night, but you shouldnt walk in there, with like 1 mate, expecting to have a good night. i find it all to easy to end up with some chump in there insisting you buy a drink cos you spilt their drink etc. it used to be one of the best clubs in manchester imo, but ive been there twice in the last year, and both times it been seriously lairy.
  21. alcohols bad for me, and i know it, but at the end of the day, everyone has their vices.and thats everyone, even people who dont drink, dont smoke, etc, and live for sport X, or job Z, in the end does that not end up ruling their life over everything else. and although to them it may seem to be cool, its ultimately not (i seem to remember scott wilson on here saying his bird had dumped him because of how seriously he took trials, to us that seems acceptable, hes a world champion, but to many people who dont ride trials, hes just bummed off a girl, so he could go ride a bike with no seat really slowly) In the whole scheme of the health thing, theres always going to be healthy people and unheatlhy people, granted i could stop drinking, and become healthier, but when it comes down to it, i could die from a load of none alcohol related incidents. most units ive ever drank and confirmed in one night was something like 63, but all of us that where out, were fairly sure their must of been a VK or 2 that didnt get jotted down to drunkeness. as for shots, i drank 6 shots of vodka,1/2 a bottle of red wine, and 50 shots of corkies in one night once. as for calebs question about the amount people could drink in one go, i reckon a 4 pint pitcher of guiness in one go, would probably be at top end of the amount i could drink. ive done 2 litres of strongbow in one go before and it wasnt all that hard. now for manchester clubbing: jillies: in all fairness friday nights in there are ok, till about 1am, theres room 4(i think, or maybe 1) which plays like more kind of poprock/punk/ska music, but it shuts at 1am, from then onwards, theres only rooms 2 and 3 open, which are playing your usual heavy gothic music, till about 4am, when they start playing jungle, then drum an bass for half an hour each, then at 5am, it kind of goes to more mainstream rock classics (californication, paradise city) etc. Warehouse projects: find a night you like there, and go, its a good night. but its expensive, around £15 -£20 a ticket, and its £4 for a can of budweiser in there, shots are a bit more reasonable, but you got JD,smirnoff, and the mixers are pepsi, or redbull. normally go to the ape (Drum an Bass ) nights there, but aparently the other nights are all good. tends to only be on, on the bank holiday weekends etc. normally towards the end of the night, when you leave, there will be some pretty lil student type, giving away free tickets to a similar night at the paradise factory. Paradise factory: its good, only been there twice, 2 rooms, 1 of which seems to close about 2 hours before the end, its rammed, and kind of average price(£2.60 for a bottle of becks or the like i think). occasionally at the end of the night, theyll be someone handing out free tickets to either a night there in like 2.5 weeks time(normally a different night) or a night at the warehouse project. generally tickets are £5-£10 for the night. meh, never really been into 5th ave, its like quite good. but its tends to be full of people who just go out to get layed, or fight, it used to be a pretty neat indie venue, where you could pull easily if you wanted,or just have a decent night out, but now its like rather chavvy, full of people who are trying way too hard to look good, and people who are trying way to hard to have a fight. 42's: i really like 42's, but its best to get there early, or not even bother going, and also try to go when you know quite a few people you know are going, as its very much inner circles in there, everyone seems to know each other, and walkin in with 3 or 4 of you, unless you get talking to someone because there into to you, expect to spend the whole night standing there with you 2 mates, looking like a bunch of chumps, while everyone points and stares at the people who arent normally there. RockKitchen: think you may of mentioned this place, its below the su bar on oxford road, used to be really good, now it just seems to be full of tw*ts looking to start fights, or trying to do outdo each other modelling themselves on www.yourscenesucks.com. but providing all your mates are going, its still a pretty good, varied night. it went through a quiet patch last year, where it was at its best, now its picked up with another year of college and sixth form goe'rs, its a sweat box once more. i really like satans, but thats because i know a lot of people who go there, although it has started to tire of late. other nights you must sample in manc, are pure, for the blatant chavvy, fake tan, G star, student mess of a place.and billy rocks roller disco, just for the amusement of being drunk, whilst on old school roller skates.
  22. yea, it doesnt do an awful lot just taking 1 after a real hard training session once a week. or when you aint got time to have a meal before going out. but relying on them as some people do for 200g a day of protein, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, is bad news. basically messes with your liver and kidneys (think how hard it is to clean a protein shaker after an hour or so of it sitting there, and how it stains the sink, think of that blocking up all the little pores, passages, capillaries etc, in the organs that have to deal with it. just out of curiousity, how much protein where you taking a day? on the steroid front too..... my mate has been on the steroids on the quiet for the last 8 months,we all suspected he had been, but hes admitted it now, hes been to the doctors with cramp and tightness in his chest, and has been getting pins and needles all down his right side. apparently in an effort to get big and ripped, he was chuckin down ephedrine, caffeine, tribulus, creatine, and on oral roids. ended up with him in hospital, hes had ECG's and all that crap, hes lost the pins and needle, but is still getting tightness in his chest, and his blood pressure was apparently through the roof due to the eph and caffeine.
  23. WHY NOT???? the idea was pub golf, which slowly tumbled into pub golf, dressed as golfers. this week its cheerleaders, thats if we can get the high school musical outfits from the disney shop in xxl.
  24. lol, pub golf, supplied by tk maxx, h and m, and jjb. oh and i got the tees from matalan. cannae beat it, the gloves well cool for driving in though.
