  1. Does that mean shes 4? im gettin seriously annoyed with women now. texting some fit girl, and shes up for a bit of fun, but it makes awkwardness for me between a couple of my mates, but shes well hot, but itll never be more than a few shags and a couple of films. and i feel like inside im only doing it, because id be mad to throw away that chance, when i look like me, i dont really find her that easy to talk too. Also started chatting to my ex over the last few days a couple of times, and shes being really nice and almost suggesting we go for a drink at some point. and again shes really fit, difference being, i actually enjoy talking to her, and have a laugh with her, but shes like wayyyyyyyyyy older than me, and thats not good if we want to make something serious of it, as shes like 28 now, and i really feel that its just pushing the boundaries of how old she can go, before she settles down and wants something serious, i still live with me mum FFS. i dont want the hastle of a full time relationship, but the whole casual sex/feck buddy things getting tired on me. and being singles really starting to suck, spesh as im not going out so much no more, i just find meself not doing anything at all.All the no strings attached stuffs lost its appeal, and im starting to think i need a proper relationship, but well scared about getting into anything too serious, as i see it as being kind of hassle.
  2. Your view on that comes only from your own personal experiences with the drugs, apart from long comedowns, and problems with the little fella, ive never seen anyone have any major problems with taking any of these "bad" "lame" "stupid" drugs as you put such as cocaine, ectasy or MDMA. i know of people whove had bad experiences on them. but im currently having pretty crap nights out on the booze, and my hangovers are getting seriously bad, to the point where im thinking of stopping drinking. whereas "weed/dope" as you put it, ive seen 2 instances of weed pyschosis first hand, and seen it pretty much ruin a family. not going to say ecstasy's not more dangerous than dope. but it goes far past 3 of your mates chillin out watchin TV with a joint in hand on a thursday night. As for the person making out that MDMA is way more dangerous than ectasy. a drug of fairly high purity, from a dealer you know, who always has the same supplier, and its pretty much always the same strength against a pill from a batch you havent seen or tried before as the dealer you know gets different batches many times a year. , might be nothing more than a 10 minute head rush, or could stick you in a K hole till 4am tomorrow morning. and to mr dyslexic.... take time over your post, re read it, or simply spell check it, takes a bit of time to do, but surely its easy than an argument.
  3. No offence, but i wouldnt call apline the pinnacle of car audio. dont get me wrong their decent stuff i sh*t hot, but brands like resonant engineering and the like tend to blow them out of the water. also im rather anti alpine, as i view the fact, that their low end stuff, are cheap speakers, which they charge slightly more for, because of the branding on them. and the high end stuff, your not really buying for the name. infinity stuff is good at not a bad price, infact most of the cheaper speakers you cant go to far wrong with, generally avoid unheard of makes, and stuff like xplod, but even jbl stuff, despite its halfords image, isnt bad gear. JL and rockford fosgate stuff isnt too bad, but again i feel that low down the range, they charge more due to the name they stick on them. The higher end audiobahn stuff is good, but the lower end chromy flame crap, is crap(as in pick anything else over it. Fusion stuff isnt badly priced, but comes complete with the ripspeed chav image. which is kinda why i suggest, at a sensible price, Vibe stuffs hard to beat. *Note some of this may be slightly outdated, ive been out of car audio for a good 18 months or so now.
  4. nah, i cant really see the need for a samurai sword for self protection, if anything, the room needed to use one effectively, would make it pretty useless in the kind of place youd most likely end up confronting someone in your house (doorway, hall, stairs etc), but still you cant deny that if someone held one up to you whilst you where half inching there tv, youd probably cack it a bit, and be a bit less likely to just chin them, and take the tv. and it has got the appeal of if your holding one out in front of you with your arm extended. it will either be a blade holding them 3 foot away from your body, or a pointed tip, 6 foot away from them, holding an attacker at a 6 foot range in your hallway has its benefits than standing toe to toe with a kitchen knife in your hand. im pretty shocked at the fact you can buy spear guns off ebay for about £35 for an ok one, or £100 for a dogs bollox one, perfectly legally, granted i can see you struggling to explain why you had it in your room, and your reasoning behind shooting someone. with it, but for a weapon that isnt controllled by firearms laws(bearing in mind an air rifle isnt a fire arm, but if used to break the law it will be treated as one), and you cant buy an air pistol off the net no more, it seems pretty effective (at a short range, a lot more effective than an air pistol, or a small knife, and possibly more than a firearm(bear in mind shooting someone with a handgun, catch them in the arm/or leg, and adrenaline kicks in, and quite often they can fight on, try moving round, with a 2.5 foot metal rode stuck through your arm/leg and things are going to be very awkward, if they go to remove it, its going to cause considerable pain, and take rather a lot of time to do. and this is before we talk about attaching a heavy duty sea fishing line to it, with a 50kg breaking tension. you could literally spear someone in the leg, and pull them clean off their feet, and proceed to hoist their legs up so they were stuck dangling round, resting on their shoulders, till the coppers arrived.
  5. no you cant have one in your house, labelled up "for self defence use only". but you can have them wall mounted as ornaments on your wall, and if a bloke was in your house threatening to kill you, using one would probably be deemed reasonable force. and if it comes down to being in that kind of situation i probably wouldnt be thinking of legal implications.. most of the thing about reasonable force, is the weapon cant be placed pre meditated for self defence, being confronted in the kitchen, and fight or flight, grabbing a knife in the heat of the moment etc.. and you cant go too mad with it. i.e you cant have anything placed to protect yourself. same as carrying a kosh, and a 4 inch blade in me car would be considered pretty illegal, but carrying a wheel brace and a screwdriver, as part of a toolkit wouldnt be, and quite frankly if it comes down to needing to use a wheel brace to defend meself, id view it as being a serious enough situation to not have to consider the legal implications of using one.
  6. erm, yes and no, ticket touts are tits, but in what respect. theyve bought something, which is in the future going to be worth more, and then sell it on for more, its like people getting shiny pokemon's, buying antiques, limited edition stuff. the genuine touts arent really conning anyone, there selling goods at a price someone is willing to pay. the fact that its to a music event kind of gives it some moral code that you shouldnt sell it on for more (thats like me offering you £2000 cash for a bike you payed £250 for from supercycles that i knew was worth £250 but really wanted as i couldnt get another one, you wouldnt say no, and sell it to someone else offering £250). Apart from the unlucky people who didnt get tickets, who would of struggled to get them anyway as way to many people are interested in going to the festival. no one really loses out, the ticket company/event organiser still gets the money they want, the person who pays £500 for the ticket, gets the ticket they want, at a price they are willing to pay, the tout gets their money, and ebay get their fees. dont really see how thats killing live music, the event still gets all its money, and it still gets the full number of people attending(well either that or the tout lets tickets go to waste) If your on about scamming touts, then thats a different kettle of fish, but then theyre not touts, theyre conmen/scammers. but i can see where the appeal comes from. you buy 6 tickets for about £900 off seetickets. you then sell these tickets on, 20 times throught march, april, may and june. thats 120 ticket sales at say 300 a pop.(average, you say you can get almost 3 times that for reading, but whatever) 120 x 300 = £36,000, thats a lot of money to anyone. no one gets their tickets till like august the 15th, so no one expects to recieve their tickets till after about the 17th, and then you can count up until the day before the festival where you can fob them off(they dont come till the 20th, you posted them 21st etc). you can only open an ebay dispute for 60 days after the item sells. therefore any items sold prior to about the 22nd of june, cant be opened as a dispute. you then of course still have the original 6 tickets to sell on legitamitely, or to go to a festival and spend £35,100(less sellers fees) on getting drunk. and selling the tickets on 20 times, wouldnt be hard, at all. considering how quick they where sellling the first few days, could start up an ebay shop, with 50 in stock, buy it now, at £300, theyd of all gone within about 90 minutes the first day or so.
  7. but on the same front, if i wanted to cut someone, i wouldnt care if i used a samurai sword, st georges lance, a cooking knife, a divers knife, a pen knife or a butter knife. Id cut them, and if i was twisted enough to be 100% sure i wanted a samurai sword to take someones arm off, then the fact that id be willing to go and cut someones limbs off, would kinda suggest i wouldnt be that concerned about whether i got me sworf legally from a shop, or bought it off si man. likewise, all the people who carry knives on the street, dont really carry big stuff, stanley knives, the occasional butterfly knife, a lock knife. so its not gunna reduce it on that front. and the people who keep swords for self protection in their house, im sure theyll find another equally effective weapon.
  8. I was about to suggest, that he invest a few quid in a scrap car, something that doesnt ned to be motable etc. learn how to remove the engine, stick it on a bench, and strip it down, like right down, till you got the crank, journals, con rods etc sat on the bench, then build it back up, see if it turns over, if it ran before, try and get it running again. itll only cost you like £50 (which youll make back in scrap value),youll learn a hell of a lot, and those lil f*ck ups you make, will be on a sh*tter and it wont matter if it doesnt run, as your weighing it in, as opposed to ruining the engine in your daily driver. Also suggest you invest in a Hillers: motor vehicle fundamentals book, be like £20 or £30 in smiths, but it will pretty much tell you anything you ever need to know about basic vehicles principles and how stuff works.
  9. in my opinion its a good idea, makes it more spread out rather than like some people have 10 exams in one week etc. and also at 14 i was keen, id of revised, tried me hardest. by 16, i was lazy, drunk, and didnt really care.
  10. motorbike manuals in ebook form sell for like £3 on ebay. there also available free on the web go figure.
  11. and you also fail to realise, he hasnt eaten for 2 weeks, you do realise thats 14 dog weeks. hell if i hadnt ate in 14 weeks, i reckon id be feelin pretty lethargic by now. Erm, my cat doesnt have any mad foods, other than bacon, hed kill for bacon. he hates garlic sauce and garlic crisp dip. and he also hates the protein powder i sometimes overspill onto the floor. I know this, and id presume hed know this, but clearly not, as i could prove repeatedly.
  12. you said in the oxford clubbing thread you had a fake provisional, which cost you £35, whats wrong with where you got that from for getting more?
  13. just adding to this, stacking shelves at night in asda pays something like £9.40 an hour, imagine rocking that on a friday night, 8 hours, and youll be taking home like £75, get home sleep 6 till midday, then you got the same kinda saturday as youd normally have if you had a lie in.
  14. on wikipedias discription on the 4th and 5th series, apparently thats goin to be explained.
  15. its more the fact that to produce anywhere near enough of the stuff, we have to pretty much cover entire counties in the stuff (i suggest we start with wales)
  16. At nearly all of OBMS posts : +1 its the person that causes the trouble, not the drug. I include this to alcohol, but alcohol seems to make people more aggressive and emotional at times, and impair judgement. whereas although coke supposedly makes you aggressive, ive never seen anyone on coke in a fight, unless theyve consumed a large amount of alcohol as well. Hendrix, you say the dance industry isnt full of people who take drugs, well the amount of club DJ's i know, id say most of them do, partly for the hell of it, partly because they need to stay up as late as the clubbers, then pack their gear up and go home, and partly because most Dj's will also be into their genre of music when their not a DJ(i.e before they get a club night or a residency, theyll be going to the clubs as punters, where drug use is rife. As for Rock/pop stars, theres a fair few that are on it, just not to the extent that winehouse and doherty are. pretty much to the extent that obms' mates, or my mates are, i.e to the point where it doesnt mess your life up. also you say your ashamed to know these people because they take drugs, when you get in the realworld™, youll realise most people are, or have been on recreational drugs at some point. Ive spoke to people with £100,000+ per year jobs, whove told me about nights in a field on acid when they where 20.
  17. yea but your wrong, the people who should be running this country, the real intelligent people, who know how to fix this country. are all working as barbers and taxi drivers.
  18. Ive seen first hand 24 in an all nighter, although to be fair, they where the worst pills known to man I also no someone whos reportedly done 43 in one night, and ended up having convulsions, but ive got serious doubts about that number, considering the pills he had at the time were reasonably strong.
  19. There is the drug pink champagne though. which is traditionally just a type of amphetamines, that was pink (so basically speed) however last spring time, there was some stuff going round manchester, which people where calling pink panther, and also pink champagne. this pink panther/faux pink champagne. Was MDMA crystals and dust(although largely dust) coloured pink, and it was supposedly the dogs bollox of MDMA. Wouldnt be suprised if thats now/still floating round other bits of the country.
  20. A few months ago, i thought you where the full on coke snorting guy, but you only took it at raves and football matches you said. As for it not being able to kill you....... Bollox.
  21. Take it you dont drink then either? As for ectasy, ive never took it, wont say i never will, but i never intend to. Im not anti drug either, but then im not pro drug. Ive tried most other drugs, including a rather dodgy couple of months living for getting coked up on a friday and saturday night. but thats all over after a messy and pretty sobering night last july(basically I ran out of coke at 7am, around 10am, everybody else was getting money together to go pick up again, by which time it and the alcohol had worn off on me, and i sat there, thinking "i went through an 1/8th last night, thats not good, and that was a waste of £60, were now looking at doing the same thing all over again, feck that". And i think thats one of the main reasons i dont touch ectasy, its the fact that i can go out and spend £50 on booze on a night out, perhaps vomit once or twice if im really stupid, but generally ill take £60 or £70 out, spend £50 on booze, and not be too bad. but for £50 i could get 100 pills. and im just the kinda person that does like to see how far i can push things, and tend to have a high tolerance to most things as well. i could quite easily see myself putting 25 or more pills in me over a weekend and just killing myself. On top of that i kind of view them as dirty, With coke, you know who your dealing with, you know near enough what your getting, its pretty reliable, but pills, the guy we used to buy off in bulk, used to sell very large numbers of pills, and as much as hell never admit it, and neither will any of my friends who take them and buy off him in bulk (there not dealers, but if 10 mates want 10 pills each for a weekend, you buy in 100's to save money) admit it, but ive seen dodgy batches of pills first hand. as Smo said, its not the mdma in them that fecks you up, theyll be cut with all sorts(flour, teething powder,UHT milk etc) to bulk them out into pill form, as well as having other drugs added into them to make different batches different (Ketamine, amphetamines, and over the counter stuff, such as caffeine tablets, paracetemol, heard of creatine being in them before) and people will have allergic reactions to whats put in them etc. As for the person who said that pills with a different stamp on them are weaker than another pill. There not, really. granted some pills with have higher content of MDMA, but if i sat 4 different pills in front of you with 4 different stamps on them, theres no guarantee that the dove your getting this week, is the same as the dove your getting next week off a different dealer. Ive seen sh*t windmills, and average windmills. Mint White hearts, and white hearts that might as well of been a placebo, likewise with others. and a lot of pills that have got reputations of being stupidly strong, will often have their stamp copied, and transferred over to cheaper pills.
  22. im also no designer, but scrap using the different font with the text going vertically, keep it to the same font as used in the rest of the flyer. or something a bit similar. dont know if its the colour, or the font, or what, but "The Euphoric Sessions" going up the left, just looks off to me.
  23. Miles? Charlotte(think thats her name, the slightly ginger piece that mr faraday wanted to roost, with the real nice ass)?Rose? Bernard? just names that spring to mind thatd definitely didnt get on the zodiak or the chopper, theres probably(read definitely) more that i havent thought of. oh and claires still unaccounted for on the island?
  24. i dont know if i saw fat pants out, id probably think he was just a baby faced 19/20 year old, he looks to muscly round his shoulders etc to be 16, not to mention, he comes across as rather mature on here, and on msn, so if its like that in real life, im sure his talking skills can get him past a bouncer with a bit of doubt in his mind.
