had a search on the net for this over the past few days and nothings really come up with the answers i was after. but are any of you/do any of you know of people who have got into university with vocational qualifications(supposedly its doable with vocational stuff in theatre/accountancy and business, but thats all ive been able to find out) want mechanical engineering, motorsport engineering, automotive engineering or the like. to give you a rough idea of my qualifications, ive got 12 gcse's,3 as levels (in media, sociology and computing,so nothing useful) a btec national level 3, and an nvq level 3 (may be level 4/foundation degree by this time next year) basically my employers where on about sending me on a nvq level 4/foundation degree course, (which meant i could just hot tail it into uni next year), but thats basically looking like its falling through, so wondering would i have a chance to manage getting into university next september with what i got now, or is there anyway i could just jump on evening school/some learndirect course for 9 months or so, to get me into university?

i have to certain things, like serious cuts(to the point where my mate who i believe to be fairly unsquamish, almost fainted when he saw the gash on my inner elbow (just from the sheer amount of blood that was coverin me, my shirt, my jeans, and the floor)) and i was just like "go see if we can get a tea towel or something from behind the bar of the pub so i can stop the bleeding. or like when i stacked me motorbike, was no big deal. but if i trap a finger nail, to the point wer im gunna get black nail unless i drill it out, when i initially hit/trap it, for a good 10-15 minutes im shaking like a sh**ting dog, need to sit down, go totally white etc. -

erm, theres versions of adobe cs3 portable available to download(illegally) on the web. they dont need to be installed, and can be ran off an external drive, however. whether your school computers will allow a .exe file to be ran off anything other than their central harddrive. other than that, download the trial at home, and just copy the downloaded file onto your usb stick, and copy it onto the school pcs, then install it from there.

kev just went and did his first workout on his legs in 6-7 weeks. kev may of just worked a bit too hard, and may of just rubber legged down the stairs coming out of the changing rooms. just about avoided landing flat on me face. this is brilliant, its like being a newbie again, albeit slightly stronger.

dont take 6 weeks off the gym to get drunk, you go back small and weak as fook.
-
i agree with that totally, apat from phoenix nights, i found it rather funny, although peter kay himeself aint all that funny. but i have to admit, i went back to watching red dwarf a few weeks back, and it aint nearly as funny as it was 1st,2nd, and 3rd time round.

been said before, and will be said again, it depends what works for you, your diet, how you train, and your body. hittin the gym tomorrow, for what should hopefully be the last couple of weeks. changing gyms again, as this ones gone a bit crap, no decent ones left in town though, so joining a pretty low quality cheap one, and gunna sort out the freeweights in me garage.

300 mile roundtrip, but should be there with fishy, unless its 3 of my friends party before they go travelling. in which case, ill provide someone with a cardboard cut out of me.
-
depends on a lot of things, your body to start with, the time without food, the temperature, what your doing etc. as bare in mind as far as your body knows, your still a primate, running round naked, throwin rocks at ferral cats. your body will typically burn fat first, till a point, when it thinks, hang on, im not using this muscle, whoever theres no food around, and these muscles are just using up my fat reserves, which are getting low, so it will start to burn muscle for energy, and to preserve fat.

Not Bike Trials Not Moto Trials, But Truck Trials!

actually used to enjoy watchin on eurosport, and on transworld sport on channel4, also had like the off road racing buggies doing hill climbs and the like. as trials goes, its a lot more entertaining to watch than sheep dog trials -
Out! Out! Get out! and to think you used to be cool man.

the thing thats annoying is, in the interview after, where he was still clearly dazed. he didnt once say, "prescotts a good fighter" or "i was beaten fair and square" it was all, "i made a stupid little mistake early on". never once admitted that he was put against a fighter who was better than him, or at least better prepared for that fight than him. now compare that to the interview Matt Brown gave on UFC last night, when he was beaten by a judges decision by Dong Hyun Kim. which the interviewer, and the crowd, and probably a load of armchair fans thought was wrong. (and for the interviewer to say it during the interview that he thought the judges decision was wrong). Matt brown basically just said "its the judges decision, we cant argue with it, its what they felt,i was fighting a tough guy, and the judges gave it to him, i dont fight for a judges decision, i fight for my fans and for a finish" when he could of quite easily gone off on one, saying how the judges where wrong, it was unfair etc. difference being amir khan doesnt respect his opponents, and doesnt know when to stop being cocky, hes a good fighter granted, but he isnt prince naseem just yet, and i doubt he ever will be. still asking, when is he going to be put up against katsidis, considering after graham earle, that was surely the next logical step (except for the fact team khan, and frank warren, know that katsidis would trounce him) also, just for note, that fight should never of gone past the first knockdown, amir khan wasnt standing and with it at the 8 count.

i dislike them too, think there only hated by the slightly overweight(no offence john, fish you know your fat) motorbike riding people who frequent trials forum. the might boosh dis appreciation society
-
khan vs prescott on sky box office now(and elsewhere if you speak to me nicely) should be slightly better than normal. but bollocks to paying £15 for this, although the cole vs arthur fight that was just on, was a real good watch. khans out of it, in like under a minute.

yea, but surely if she just wants a bit of no strings attached fun, and so does he, its way easier than the emotional heart ache that comes part and parcel with 17 year olds relationships that may well not last that long (not talking just on the fact that people dont tend to stick together these days, but about what happens when people move away to uni etc 12 months down the line.) also, thats a bit rich, coming from the bloke who was wishing he could play 4 girls at once yesterday. at least if hes clear with her its just casual, no one gets hurt, as opposed to stringing several girls along because it makes you feel cool/gives you something to brag about. not everyone whos been around has STI's, some people have the sense to wear a condom, and when they dont, they get themselves checked out pretty quickly. i know loads of people whove slept with a lot of people, who are perfectly clean. -

fatty, no offence here, but your saying shes between slim and fat, so shes a got a few too many pounds on her, but f*ck me, your hardly joe rothwell the sex panther yourself are you. you cant honestly tell me you dont know if you want to shag her or not, the truth is you know whether you want to shag her, but you dont know what your mates will say so you wont do it, either that or your worried you cant perform, or you may catch something. so just man up, rubber up, and go for it. so what if your mates think you shagged a munter. im sure 99% of the human race have shagged a munter at some point in there lives (could use a look at your parents joke, but i dont want obm after me for dissing your mother). unless your sitting there thinking shes going to be your life partner, you dont have too much to worry about, if your just after a shag, and from what youve told me, thats what shes after, and you certainly been playing it like thats what you want with her. then just do it. your young, have some fun, dont sit here at 10 to 2, waiting for the girl whos moving away tomorrow to text you back, even though you know your only texting each other out of niceness, friendship, and the fact that shes going to be lonely for the weekend as shes moving to a new city, and her housemates dont move in till monday , and that chances are youll never actually get with her, because youve pussied out of her meeting her too many times to go and get drunk with your mates. -
yea was gunna say, dwarf girl appears to approve of your shape making skills
