depends largely on what you want and who you get, my old gym (the decent one, before i left and joined a crappy health club which i never go too, and am now seriously obese as a result of) had a good selection, itd obviously got a few of your regular tarts/ chumps, that where ok for training middle aged women but then theyd got 3 or 4 people who really knew what they where talking about in certain things, one of the lads who i still see occasionally was an ex marine, and now a firefighter, if you wanted to get army fit, he would literally flip into "army PT instructor mode" take you for a 3 mile jog round town, make you do press ups,sit ups, chin ups etc, record your scores, then give you some advice/run you through a quick training circuit to improve your weak points, he also knew his stuff when it came to bodybuilding. Its luck of the draw, you get some people doing it, because its quite an easy job, and there reasonably fit and they studied sport science at uni, and you get others doing it, because its generally something there very good at.

Depends if you like simulation driving games as opposed to NFS type games, as simulations go, its the dogs bollox, and worth £40, let alone £9, ive just started playin it again (got to level 45, got bored, got back on it, and couldnt drive for crap, so started again, got bored at level 18, as once you get the hang of it again after a couple of hours, its rather boring on the slower cars, just started again tonight, hopin to get right back in it,and hit level 50)

Fish dont live near wales, hes some fassy ole hiding a good 20 miles from the border, Im near wales.so near in fact i could drive there in 2 minutes. Unless you can fire your bow and arrow over the border and hit some welshman from your bedroom window, you aint near wales. Hell im practically the front line in defence is ever the welsh invade (i dont think i could defeat them, id probably just use gone off cheese for their toasties). Now onto my new years resolution. Get a 6 pack, i get close like once/twice a year, then it goes to pot at the last 1/2 stone, i lose heart and end up like 1.5 stone away. Sort my finances out. Get a boat. Stop having casual sex(although if the first 3 happen and i end up being rich, ripped, and with a boat, i think i may get the oppurtunity to dip me wick) Try and be a better person Avoid all drugs, all year, none of this "festivals are ok, birthdays are ok, weekends are ok, after 9am is ok" Enter a good few mototrials comps. Thats it really, to be fair, 2008's been bollocks, I may of spent 6 months of 2007 with the prospect of going to prison, but its times like that, that make you appreciate life, and how good your mates actually are when you need them, and i also had some awesome times, all in all, it was a hell of a year. 2008, not much really stands out as being good, havent really achieved much.

Sometimes in life, there are moments that define us, not as people; with individual characteristics, not as nationalities: with our own cultures and believes, or by showing what seperates us from the animal kingdom, but moments that make us the alpha-male, the dominating one in life. One such moment occurred the other night, nothing much happenned, and to no-one in particular, but i realised at that point, watching Abi Taylor wrestle a bloke to the ground, after he ordered a vodka and lime, that this was the girl for me, and that no matter what happened in life, shed be my alpha-male, and shed always be the leader of my pack, id follow in her footsteps, place her on a pedestal, and hold a place in my heart for her, for now and for eternity. Unfortunately when i did this, she realised how i was also weak, and girl like, so at that point, she ripped out my heart, and told me to replace it with one as cold as stone, as if i was ever to be the women for her, id need to man up a bit. At this point i was shattered, and life felt meaningless, i knew i couldnt have her,in my current state, but knew i couldnt change my state, as if i was to do that, my desires for her would change, and even if i wanted to change i couldnt, as no matter how much i tried to change. I knew there was no reciept for a broken heart...

im most definitely a gangster, or not... are we talking about clothing here, because surely isnt it horses for courses. if im just chilling out, itll be cargo shorts/comfy jeans/cargo pants, a tee (usually alternative/extreme sports - alpinestars, animal, fox etc) and a hoodie but saturday i went the casino,so i wore something a bit smarter - but still casual, evisu trainers, some tidy looking slightly baggy jeans, a h and m casual shirt, skinny tie, and a h and m v neck jumper. right now im sat here wearing superstars, a pair of trackies, and a BT polo shirt. you wear something in relation to what your doing/where your going, obviously ill go to chavvier venues in animal/fox Tee's, i dont try to fit in there, but i own a variety of clothes from a variety of different brands (evisu, CK,superdry, alpinestars, animal, fox,h and m, next, river island, oakley, lambretta - running through one of my draws) which i wear on a variety of nights out. obviously if im goin somewhere thats no hoodies, i cant really wear an animal tee, with a v neck jumper, likewise wearing a formal shirt under my fox racing hoodie, i look like a bit of a tard, same with wearing regular fit jeans with skate shoes, or my baggier jeans with shoes that are small, and the jeans just end up gettin trod into the floor.

depends how you actually do it, you can through a trader, i.e you give them £10k, they sort it out, play with your money, and take 10% off, but to do it yourself, most large banks (halifax, barclays etc) allow you to trade in shares, theres also loads of online share trading companies, with different types of accounts depending on how you want to trade (some charge a set fee per deal, some charge a percentage fee, some charge a set fee for amounts in set limits, others charge a set fee + a percentage fee, some have a monthly charge, allowing you so many trades per month/reducing your percentage fee etc) one such place, dont use it myself, is just part of the website that sends me financial tips/newsletters.

doesnt it really depend on what you want from a holiday, if you want to go on a holiday getting battered and partying every night, then its great, and you dont really notice the w*nkers that much, as 1) your ratted anyway 2) theres a good mix of people there, many of whom arent tw*ts 3) youll get tw*ts anywhere you go out drinking. but if you want a quiet day on the beach, a chilled out evening in a quiet tapas bar, then back to bed by midnight, with nothing to wake you up, forget it.

so your just going to be using it for regular stuff, surfing the web, itunes etc. morrisons have got a cheapo laptop thatll do all that £250, intel dual core processor, 160gb hd, and 1gb ram, all i can remember from the thing in the paper about it, but itll do all that fine, was almost tempted to buy one myself, whack a 500gb harddrive in it, and just use it for general film watching and music etc whilst i was away, rather than carting mothers laptop round with a external HD.

yea, granted, but im going to hazard a guess, he payed no where near £15 a share for them.im currently rolling on something like 300 bt shares. and then in 2.5 years im going to have the chance to buy £5000 or so, at £2.05 a share(no matter what the share price is at that time). but over the 3 or so years ive held shares in bt, ive had a decent dividend return(i.e the idea of using as a long term investment) each year. Also bear in mind the low price there at now, i almost bought £2000 of bt shares when they where £1.01 the other week, but didnt because i put off doing it, just to see what happened, could of sold them at £1.32 last week.which is a tidy sum for a quick investment. and how they dont really have an awful long way to drop, as anyone who had them at £15.00, could of seen it wasnt going to last. but thats their choice, and theyve been floating around the £1.50-2.00 mark since 2002(obviously with the odd rise and fall here and there, and a period at just over £3 for a few months in 2007) and there still occuppying a similar position really, in fact id say theyve faired better than most in the credit crunch. but the thing with BT is, its not like a lot of these other places, it cant just go bust,if/when it goes bust itll be seen a mile off, the government amongst others cant allow bt to go bust just like that, as basically everything communication wise would come to a halt.effectively grounding the entire country.theyll be handout and help out plans etc, and then its big decision time as to whether you sell up or hold out, but its not like many other businesses, (like instore for example i mentioned earlier with stupid low shares, they could just shut up shop tonight, and tomorrow everyone walks in, doors are locked, no job, and its all over). if communication stops, the country effectively stops, coud could use any communication network really, but mobile phones arent the end of the world, if t mobile went bust tomorrow, id go and buy a phone on 02 or orange, as would anybody else who needs them. and if talk talk or the like went bust, you could just switch back to bt, but if bt went, bearing in mind all the exhanges, lines, the entire network being bt owned, you couldnt just swap over your line, literally nothing could happen till some sort of agreement/take over was put in place. Not saying BT wont go bust, ive even got my suspicions, just saying youll know about it when it does.
-
then dont buy a grands worth buy £400's worth or something.
-
theres far smarter shares to buy than halifax really. Instore for example are at like 6p now, there going to be bought out, could buy 1000 for £60.00, and not even worry if you lose them. Shell/bp shares regularly fluctuate up and down by like £6 a share. buy the shell shares at like £12-13, then sell for £16-17, rinse and repeat. or just buy them as a long term investment, both by BT, and my mums Shell shares are returning pretty decent dividends.

yea in all fairness, ive got a large disposable income, from working. (2 motorbikes, check out the RSQ thread for my boat plans) if people put the price up to £4.50 a pint, and £15 for a 75cl bottle of vodka, id still go out, id just drink more vodka before i went out, then drink 1 or 2 less in the pub, and bus it back rather than get a taxi.
-
its not really though, me, and most of my friends go out, get suitably drunk, and come home, if some idiot offers me 2 for 1, im not going to say no, likewise, im not going to drink much more, im just gunna have £10 more at the end of the night. likewise the 2 for 1 offers, are the main thing that gets me out into the pubs/clubs, as opposed to drinkin at home. Vodka revolution for example, isnt cheap. but on mondays, its heads/tails, they flip a coin, you call it, if you get it right, they double your order for free. whereas before paying £20 for 10 shots, and 2 vk's, isnt really all that. in fact id rather sit at home and get trashed for a fiver, then go out to a club after. but suddenly add the gambling element in there, and the fact for that 20 pounds, i now get 20 shots of absolut flavoured vodka, and 4 vks. and its a fun way to spend a few hours.

yea coverage of the fight starts tonight at 11pm on setanta, with the undercard bouts etc, the fight starts sometime around 4am uk time/11pm NY time.(obviously this depends on just how quick the rest of the fights are over and done with, and any interruptions/medical emergencies in the ring)

sure i was on like £7 an hour on the first year of my apprenticeship as a mechanic, was like £235 a week, 36 hours a week. im now on about £470 a week for 38 hour weeks(although thats before tax,ni pension, sharesave etc, so in reality i only see 2/3 of that right now at the end of the month). although i am tempted to try and get a job on the rigs, as the moneys immense. (lookin at like an extra £10-12000 a year, whilst not having to buy food, commute etc for 26 weeks a year, as well not really being able to spend any of that cash for them 26 weeks) then the nice lengthy breaks. but i really wouldnt knock an apprenticeship with a garage right now, providing you get a decent one. i went with BT, started just over 3 years ago, ive now got the following. NVQ level 2 in light vehicle service and repair NVQ level 3 in light vehicle service and repair BTEC level 3 in light and heavy vehicle technology city and guilds level 1 in MIG and MAG welding could of been a class C1 lorry driver if id passed the test(and will most likely be class C in a few months, now im old enough) along with a bunch of other competency certificates that you wouldnt get/would need to pay for if you where at a regular backstreet garage( PUWER-LOLER trained on shackles and lifting equipment, PUWER trained on abrasive wheels) along with this ive also got a city and guilds introduction to hydraulic and fluid power(which i havent recieved the certificate for) and am currently going through nvq level 4 master technicians diploma, as well as the qualification to become an NVQ assessor, and so far i havent paid a penny towards my training. (theres people who started the same time as me, whove got another £10000 worth of training under there belt too). but for the meantime, temp agencies and the like.
