  1. Newsflash: OBM stalks forum females Im sure if we put Bernard Manning, Roy Chubby Brown and Al Murray in charge of the major political parties, along with every middle aged taxi driver and hairdresser as MP's, everything would all run fine. till then, were knackered.
  2. cyber hug dave??? im really annoyed at the moment, last weekend i kind of got rid of the bird ive been texting on and off for months. as shes a total self centred, fake tanned albeit fit as fook bitch. now turns out were going to the same night next thursday night. (unless i fassy out). Im going to that night with a girl i spent 3 days sharing a tent with at leeds last year, got on real well with, and still get on real well with, shes perhaps a bit too flirty with me, considering she has a boyfriend. Also met a pretty cool girl on holiday, she wasnt that fit... but personality wise she was brilliant, just made we realise, why do most of the fit birds have the personality of a door mat(the reason i pulled the plug on kaye was me realising shes not a patch on most of my female mates when it comes to personality).
  3. Totally different stuff, the brake cleaner is just a solvent, designed to get grease/road tar/ greasy finger prints/general dirt off friction surfaces on cars when fitting/cleaning them. the monty brake spray is actually an adhesive type spray. that maks the pads stick to the rim easier/better/stronger.
  4. arent the the first 5000 tickets ordered off mixmag only £100. Im unsure yet, ive got leeds tickets, which i may be selling to go T in the park, which would mean this weekend would be free for creamfields, but totally unsure right now.
  5. bear in mind when i saw dean with it, it was back in our days of stayin at barrs court in college, which is a good 18 months ago, actually screw that, its when i had my bt, ive had the ashton over 2 years now. so your probably looking at about 30-36 months ago. so its probably moved on since then.
  6. Last time i saw it deano had it, and it was turqouise/green, with a profile on the back (which i broke)
  7. take 1 pint glass, fill with half a pint of cider, 1 small glass of Rose wine, at this point, you should have about 75ml left, at this point i would suggest adding 1 shot of wray and nephews, 1 shot of baileys, and 1 shot of gin.
  8. You may or may not be able to achieve this, bearing in mind its the same week as T in the park too. which im currently thinking about attending. But otherwise, watch out simps'
  9. just got 4 tickets from ticketline, got em like 2 mintues before they went onsale, heard the headliners and think it may of been a mistake, but meh, well see
  10. never have you spoke more sense on beautiful cars....except for the fact thats just some standard 2.0 4x4 one, not a turbo one if im not mistaken. Edit: and i mean the EVO version, not the 1.6 HF turbo.
  11. Ive been through worse...but thats not saying much. Erm... you sure this isnt just you trying to show your going to get some poon tonight??
  12. fatty, your a f*ckin idiot, no offence, but seriously, whats so cool about racing cars?? breaking laws and just generally being a tosser on the bike for no reason. Your c*ntish critical mass mates would be so proud of you.
  13. Really like the Red and the black ones. If im going to be honest, i think the purple one looks a bit gash (the colour scheme would be ok on some streety 24, as would the graphics, but on a comp bike with a 4 figure price tag)
  14. NIGHT NIGHT TF. NIGHT NIGHT CHAAAAARRRRRRRLLLLLIEEEEEEEE.X( :$ X
  15. Wasnt suggesting them as being donators for prizes, was more suggesting, say you got 20 entries to the side hop comp, thats £20, whoever won, it was agreed that someone would order them a Tee (dont wanna make it bike parts as its a bit pointless and not everyone uses everything, so giving away pedals would be a bit pointless if said person didnt want new pedals, or swore by only using certain brands), and it should be semi riding related. out of the £20, and whatever was left over went to you lot as the organisers/a chosen charity. Obviously if youve got prizes sorted out, its not needed as an idea (Can I suggest you get some printed up "I won Andrei Burtons trial of Wessex 2009 sidehop competition and all I got was this T-shirt " tee shirts) Is there perhaps going to be a ramp with a platform next to it, so certain riders can do backflips to sidehops to wow the crowds? or is that not going to happen??
  16. I suffer quite bad from Lucid dreaming(generally after eating cheese). so quite often get dreams which are basically hallucinations of stuff around me Things ive seen whilst being dreaming whilst semi awake include dreaming that i was lying in my bed, picking my phone up whilst dreaming, and having it open like a garage door, which was infact the wall across from my bed, woke up with my phone in my hand. another one i remember quite vividly from several years ago, was being woken from my bed by the sound of seagulls, gettin up, sticking on some clothes, and going down what i thought where lighthouse stairs, opening the door, and remember it just being water, no outside, i was trapped, the lighthouse door opened onto the sea, so i sat there for ages...thinking i was going to die, when a boat floated past, i jumped in this boat, but there were no oars, nothing, so i sat there again thinking i was going to die...again crying my eyes out. When i woke up, i was without a word of a lie, sat on an airbed id pulled out from behind my mates sofa, in his student house. Even though id fell asleep in his spare bedroom the previous night. One of my strangest ever night time occurances (not calling it a dream, as i dont exactly know what it was happened around 2 years ago, was staying at my mates at the time, stayed in and played xbox so we could afford to go out on the saturday night, we got fairly wasted, and ate rather a lot of domino's (the pizza, not actually domino's we wernt that wasted)) and then went to bed, a couple of hours later, my mates GF's best mate, and a girl who I used to kind of see every now and again, turned up. She ended up jumping into bed with me, and all was well. At this point I fell asleep, and things got a little strange to say the least. Thse are my memories: I woke up in the bed, with the girl next to me, i looked over at the clock and it was 3:27, i got up out of the bed to go for a piss, as i got up, i walked past another housemates door(which existed), which was partially open, inside it was dark, but there was music, and the odd strobe light (which definitely didnt exist). I carried on walking down their landing, I then came to a open archway on my right(which doesnt exist, its just a solid wall with the aformentioned housemates bedroom on the other side of it), in there it was light, bunch of people just sitting chatting, basically a pub style environment, Walked into the bathroom(which exists, to find a scouse lad sat in the bath crying(who definitely didnt exist), went for a piss, and walked past all this shit again, and got back in to bed, but as shed now layed out on the bed from our nice little spoon position, i had to sit up in the top corner of bed against 2 walls. The next thing i knew, i was awake, sat up in the corner of the bed between 2 walls, with betty lay next to me, taking up more than her fair share of room, and the clock next to me said 3:32. Now im not quite sure what went on there, whether i dreamt the whole lot, and just woke up at 3:32, like that. Whether i got up and went for a piss in my sleep, dreaming all that stuff, whether i was actually awake, got up to go for a piss and hallucinated everything and then just snapped out of it when i got back to the bedroom. But that last one freaked me out that night. Also while sharing a bed with someone else, i remember dreaming that they where lieing there, and just seeing like a burst of polaroid snaps(kind of one on top of the other, took in a burst as the camera moved slightly) of them asleep, then woke up to find them in exactly that position. obviously id seen the image of them in that position whilst i was asleep, and probably took in each image as my head moved slightly, but had somehow dreamt/hallucinated them into a set of polaroid snaps, layed up like that one on top of another. and come round moments later.
  17. Kind of agreed, but whether you want to admit it or not, its the truth, those jeans are a part of fashion these days (granted, not a fashion im into). As for part of the reason BMX is pushing itself so much than trials, is down to what the people are payed for, the few people who do make a living off trials, generally make it doing demos and/or competitions. there not really payed to push themselves to the limit as far as going balls out and big are concerned. Whereas in the cooler sports (BMX/FMX/skateboarding etc) theres people who are payed, just to as big and balls out as they can on DVD. and those that are payed to compete, the competitions are won by the guys who go the biggest and most balls out. as opposed to the slightly less cool sports(trials, bmx racing etc) where its down to fitness and technique, and the people that are payed to do those sports, are payed to be as fit as they can and develop the best technique they can to get results.
  18. If theres room/ its feasible to do, space for a bit of a speed trials run wouldnt go amiss methinks. you know, 2 identical/near identical sections, not that hard. side by side. not so much for the newer rides, but perhaps a bit of fun on the sunday night or whatever for the expert riders, and something for everyone else to watch. would take long at all, even with 32 riders, sorting it out as a knockout dealio. its only 31 races. and saying each race takes a minute, and another one setting up for the next one, you could be done in an hour(obviously youd allow 2 hours or whatever) but would be more light hearted in the evening, something a little different, taking the advantage away from the experienced comp riders. Would also hopefully mean itd allow the younger/crapper/more nervous riders some time to play on the rest of the stuff without feeling like there getting in the way of the expert riders as they may on the saturday practice day. Other nice easy light hearted evening entertainment(not sure if we got a time to vacate the venue in the evening/how much time is left over at the end of the day) that would hold some attention,2 posts and a bar, sidehop/bunnyhop competition. perhaps £1 entry, tartybikes/ridden tees as prizes (payed for with the £1 the people whove entered the competition's entry fee) with whatever left over going to charity/recouping any money that the 3 of you have put into organising it.
  19. Kevster182, but i barely ever play online no more, feel free to add me, as no doubt ill get addicted to it again at some point, but right now i havent been online for 6+ weeks.
  20. You aware you can get controllers with rapidfire mode, much like on the old ps1/ps2's, well theyve now come out for the 360,and some work on the Call of duty games online(believe not all work on certain games for some reason), which means if you hold the right trigger, the controller adapts the signal, and makes it as if your pulsing it at an extremely fast rate. on COD4 as the majority of guns where automatic, this had little to -no advantage(since on the bolt action guns, it took longer to reload than it did for you to press the trigger again, and you had to reaim, so was only any use on semi auto weapons). but on COD5, as near enough all the none sniping rifles, are semi auto, it effectively turns them into automatic weapons, making them a lot more deadly, meaning anyone with them is at a huge advantage.(as they can just keep the trigger squeezed, use the right stick to keep the weapon aimed on someone, and squeeze of shots as quick as the gun will allow, as opposed to as quick as your finger will allow)
  21. You ever consider its easiness might just be down to the other people not being able to use the none auto guns. I know my K:D is below 1:1 (mainly because i was playing HQ, when i started playing TD, it was more like 2:1, i know yours is summit stupid like 5:1) but i really do find a lot of my mates just not being able to hand a single shot weapon at all. and obviously the thompson etc aint brilliant short range, and the machine guns are rather innacurate, with smaller mags and no zoom (when compared to COD4, where you had a 100 round mag, a red dot sight, theyd be easy to keep somewhere near the target, let off 20-25 shots and chances are theyd be dead. till you get to level 37 on cod5, and get the stg, you really are at quite a disadvantage if you cant use a semi auto gun properly. Thats my way of looking at it, theres some skill involved in cod5(hence you finding it so easy, as you have the skill) whereas cod4 people can get by with a heavy trigger finger, a red dot site, and a bit of knowledge of the maps.
  22. Yea, most people were used to being able to spray and pray with a red dot sight attached. as opposed to needing some skill to play COD5 just bought skate 2.
  23. At a guess, somewhere near nanmawr, or somewhere near corwen (my heads saying nantmawr towards llansantfraid way), but also got some weird feeling it could be above llangollen/corwen. just know i see that stepped rockface in the first pic every time i go to wales for the weekend, and theres a railway embankment in the back of the 1st pic if im not mistaken(or possible a bank to stop the river flooding over). correct, or am in totally the wrong area. anyway, rather good riding as always.
  24. Only issue with it now (used to train with a bloke who was in the marines, and was now a full time fireman) is over the last few years, health and safetys got a bit stupid, not in the working conditions, but you understand, when your waiting in the station for a call to come it, it used to be the life of riley, youd do a couple of hours weight training, have a kick about in the yard, play basketball etc, just pass the time having fun. but at his station (ive heard of this being the case in bristol as well after speaking to a bloke whose brother in law or summit used to be a fireman down there). Was they've but a stop to this, thanks to the whole "Had an accident at work, ring 0800-no-win-no-fee" bullcrap. so basically anything like that has been stopped, as technically your at work, and it was encouraged that in their down time, they where to exercise to keep themselves in top shape. to the point now where he says its boring as hell, theres several on a shift at once, youve got a pool table, theyve even removed the running machines out of the gym, so youve got an exercise bike and thats it.(as running was deemed high impact, so a possible cause of a claim for knees or ankles, or something like that). Thats how its become at his station, so he says being on shift, although its still a reasonably well payed job, and is far from a bad, job, hes known times where hes sat for 8 hours reading the paper, which gets tediously boring. Just a warning, its still a good job,(otherwise im sure hed of quit) but if your joining up thinking your going to get loadsa women with the uniform, get to rescue damsels in distress, stroke cats youve pulled down from trees, and play basketball and batter weights when your back at the station. In reality, it may not be all that brilliant. You thought of going down your local station, having a word with a couple of the lads there, and seeing what they say about it/how it looks, youll probably pick up a load more tips on how to join/how to get fit to join and what to expect, then youll find on here(unless weve got some secret firemen on here) or you will off any fire service careers site. .
  25. Youve got a 106, i demand pics of this ghetto hood ride!! Lookin sweet craig, whats next??
