  1. Yea, was a piece of piss to be fair(although i do almost wish id just sent it to you for the lack of hassle). basically no one could confirm if it worked on windows 7, so i went back to xp to do it, which meant installing xp on another partition,(which involved 2 hours of not being able to boot from cd, because id got a usb keyboard, and didnt realise the pc was just timing out and booting via an alternative source as i hadnt pressed the any key. Once installed I overlooked the fact E-Sata and Sata where different things,so I needed another cable .I then went and bought a SATA cable that was 18 inches long, which turned out to be too long and wouldnt work with the drive,I then had to kinda balance the drive inside my pc case with a book or, and use dvds to prop up the console. so that I could use the original xbox sata lead, whilst still plugged into the console. Got it all connected up, then found out that the Slax I got was a random slax and didnt stick my drive in mode b, finally got it in mode b. Then from there it was simple beans, 2 minutes, job done, all working. Then Xp was the default boot partition, which I couldnt change, so ended up deleting the partition, which didnt work, as it was still trying to boot from it. Finally stuck my windows 7 Cd back in, repaired the start up files and it runs. But yea, the flashing and burning of games was simple as.
  2. +1, i can do all that on my phone, you can do all 3 things you use your phone for on the last 2. apart from having 1 work, and 1 personal phone, or if you travel between different countries a lot(but then youve usually got the money to afford one decent contract). any time a person has 2 or more phones, i instinctively thing drug dealer/show off/general chump.
  3. Forza 3 seems pretty good, not liking how it seems to be guiding you and a calendar atm though.
  4. Right ive got windows 7 running perfect on my partition C:, however i want to install windows xp to another partition, so i can run some programs that arent 7 compatible, however i cant boot from my CD in setup, the option is there, it says press any key to boot from cd, the . . .'s come up, but then it just boots into windows 7, any ideas people?? can close now, im a chump, when i installed windows 7, i stuck a new keyboard on there, that was usb, which works on initial boot and once windows is running.
  5. and he didnt?? I honestly thought, he went to the census in bethlehem, same as the rest of them, but hed planned ahead(kinda guy he is) hed got a room at a motel just outside of town, and was lay there, and realised, that the drawer next to his bed was empty, and realised there was a huge gap in the market, which is the reason he wrote the bible. He got the inital copy wrote up on word perfect, and took it on to dragons den, pitching that he had a book that he could place in several million hotel rooms world wide, as well as 1 in most households in the christian world, not to mention the sale of multiple bibles to churches, he gave a quick speech on turnover and profits, spoke of a contract with the holiday inn to supply books to 6000 hotel rooms within the uk and ireland. Promptly securing the £50,000 he asked for, for a 10% stake in his religion.
  6. yea, ive seen it for DL, i do wish id got a flashed 360 to be fair.
  7. The way i always look at it with steve, is he never cons anyone, you do get the right stuff, generally hes dealing with paltry amounts of money(like i dont know if i could be arsed goin down the post office to make £3 on a set of pads and call it a job, if people arnt happy with his service, dont order from him, we all know what his service is like. however if your buying due to the quality of his goods, rather than his service, then you know what your getting and your willing to wait a little longer.
  8. you mean dont wear it out is now said 2 octaves lower edit: muel, that was meant as a joke, dont flail wildly at me for it. and fatpants, u ride a fixie, stereotype argument over.
  9. currently running maxxis ignitors on the felt, cant fault them, really good in all conditions.
  10. one big thing that someone from high up in orange said the other day(cant remember who, was reading it yesterday) is that a huge part of the iphone package will be value, rather than price. so expect to see it pre loaded with apps,or come with a itunes gift card, or some crap before you see a massive price drop.
  11. regards bouldering, as i pretty much live smack bang between nescliffe and trevor, and close to the llanberis pass(along with about a million other cliffy type places that are hidden everywhere round the welsh hills). Do I just buy an £11 chalk ball, bag and belt(although given the fact im only going to be a few feet off the ground, is a belt really necessary or can i just leave it at the foot of a boulder,as its not like im going to be 90 foot up a climb, and need to re chalk) and go for a climb? Are climbing shoes a must? and how much do they cost(or am i going to be able to just piss around for a few weeks wearing some martial arts trainers?)
  12. most of the compare the market etc ask have it(its under options for license, full uk - with pass plus) with me, when i was 17, it gave me like £450 off for the year.
  13. just downloaded a copy of it on pc to try out, ive only read one review, and they said it was ok, apart from controlling the characters was crap, which was something which wasnt an issue on the online co op mode.
  14. operation flashpoint 2: dragon rising anyone? the co op campaign looks immense.
  15. Hes possibly cracked it, The roads and the rainbows were both built by the Irish, so its more than feasible. Is it now also a possibility that guiness is infact just 7 different paints off a dulux paint chart mixed intogether? or is that ridiculous and the more plausible answer is that the multi coloured guiness is died black using either tarmac, inverted rainbows, or food colouring?
  16. yea april 1986 is the cut off date for the no daytime stipulation, also bear in mind a lot of places dont bother with it(as it is just an advisory, providing you get your green slip, little else matters to you), however i assumed this lad had a newer bike than that, so it wasnt brought into it.
  17. pretty much as said, if the vehicles designed primarily for use as an off road vehicle, and doesnt come with provisions for carrying a pillion. then it doesnt need them. otherwise, providing the indicators are permanently disconnected(i.e no wiring going to the lamps, AFAIK you can leave switchgear intact, althought most people remove it to further emphasise that it doesnt actually have indicators), covered over, or painted over. then supposedly you should get an mot, with an advisory stating that directional indicator lamps wern't present, and the vehicle can only be used in daylight hoursd when visibility is good.(although im not quite sure how this works, as if you can obtain an mot with the vehicle in the condition it was stopped in, then technically any offences should be dropped, and a producer doesnt require you to hand in an advisory.
  18. sorry to piss on your chips, but you do realise spraying the rim black will increase the weight, and stripping the white paint off them, would save even more weight.
  19. Yea real cool, goin down for GBH for the sake of some bike forks. Also, its not the size of the dog in the fight, its the size of the fight in the dog. and judging by his face, hes had a fair bit of practice at taking beatings. Honestly now, hed probably eat all of you chumps for breakfast.
  20. Basically a few riders, all based around mansfield nottinghamshire, scammed a few people, then came on here, when complaints where being made. basically telling everyone they couldnt do anything, as the mansfield boys where all stacked, they rang a few people whod been giving them shit about not sending stuff out, challenging them to fights, came on here saying anyone that wanted to give them any abuse, should come and meet them at the amputheatre in mansfield one night and say it to their face(s). as far as I know, because us as trials riders are automatically shit at fighting and nowhere near as hard as them no one dared challenge them, despite a hand to hand duel being clearly the most obvious and fairest way to sort out the sale of second hand bike parts, therefore they all won by default, Im fairly sure they still owe a fair few people parts/cash. But by people complaining and giving them abuse it meant they won on 2 counts, not only did they do a few very profitable dealings on TF, as no one dared challenge them to a battle in aformentioned amputheatre, it meant they ascertained their position as hardmen, and placed mansfield firmly on the map, as the hardest town on TF.
  21. id just give him the bike, and apologise for not giving it to him this time, and walk away from him cautiously. Dont want any trouble now do we.
  22. Think we should probably just back off the guy, and anyone whos conned should accept theyve lost their money. end of, before it turns nasty. Him and his mates are obviously a serious crew, at the moment the only price anyones payed is money, If Blake and his mates are threatening and wanting to fight people, then if we keep on at them, someone may end up getting hurt. and you cant put a price on your health. Dont want a repeat of the mansfield incident do we. In reality, however, anyone retarded enough to try and start a fight over the web/the phone, over something like this, is obviously a complete and utter chump, and will probably never sort out this deal. However I have took the time reuploaded copies of all his graffiti related photos of himself, and his work, and emailed them, along with his personal details to daventry district council, may be an idea to do the same to northampton borough council, and northants police force
  23. yea but you do have an extremely small urethra, you didnt get the name Rich "85 psi" pearson for nothing did you?
  24. in that case, let her take charge. if she is into you, shell text you, or ask to meet you again, but just dont push the issue all the time(im not saying dont ask, but dont go into the pub purely to see her every day etc)
  25. its nice, and an extremely sensible but still nippy first car, and dont really have problems with focaye(in fact i told fishy to get one repeatedly, buts hes into pussy soft-roaders) only thing i will say is, the price isnt all that cheap, youll often find cars like this cheaper in the papers, or even off small dealers, with a warranty. wouldnt believe his mileage claim at 80mph. = check its had a cambelt change(meant to be every 10 years or 100k), if not, walk away. changing it will be rather expensive(couple of hundred quid) and it just generally shows the maintenance hasnt been kept up to scratch.
