Whereas last month I was out in a rather quiet pub at about 4pm on a friday, me, a couple of mates, my mates gf, and a few of her workmates, I go to the bar alone, stood next to me at the bar, is a bloke whos got to be gettin on for mid 50's overweight, badly fitted suit etc, sipping on a shot of what looked like pernod. as I was waiting for my drink to be poured, he made eye contact with me, and said "Do you like salmon", im not sure if this is some homosexual innuendo,or he was doing a survey, or had some for sale. I just thought the bloke was a total wierdo to be fair, So I did the only thing I could think of appropriate in that situation, attempt to be slightly more wierd,ignored him till I got my drink, waited for him to look at me again, scratched my chin for a moment, looked thoughtful, and answered "it depends how it is cooked" and walked off.

But how much work is there to turn a regular land rover into a forest rover?? surely for £12,500 you could start with a galvanised chassis, buy a good cab, a tidy donor vehicle with an engine of your choice, strip that down, scrap what you dont need, all brand new lift kit, either find some tractor wheels to fit, or have some machined/drilled to fit. and have a completely rebuilt, better specc'd more capable vehicle for less cash.

I thought that about the playing for time, but if you look at the angle from low down, to johnsons right. before the knee, his hand gets very very close to koschek's right left eye. not to mention it only takes the arm to push a couple of eyelashes into the eye to cause such discomfort. I personally thought the end of round 2 in the griffin ortiz fight, was down to ortiz being pissed about being swept, and also, forest was almost trying to position himself so he bled directly into tito's eyes.

I think its going to take much longer, normally on cod4/5, id be at level 40 by 15-18 hours of play. im now on 16 hours and im 38 I think, which is about the same time per level. although ive gone back to playing team death match now, as opposed to headquarters/domination, which i used to play, as HQ now sucks for xp, and at the moment domination is filled with a bunch of idiots who just run around treating it like TDM, and not bothering trying to capture flags, using teamwork etc. my point being, in COD4, when you reached level 40, you where about halfway through a prestige time wise, on this youve got another 15 levels after 55, which will all be massive, 50,000 xp to 75,000 xp per level, so im no where near half way through my prestige, my original guess last night using someones ps3 xp figures, was that im around 22-23%, using cod4's levelling system times by 10 as reference point im about 30% of the way through it, either way, i dont see people playing through a prestige more than two or 3 times (who needs an extra custom slot). unless we start getting loads of double xp weekends(which i dont want) or online play changes hugely.

I dont know personally, see with me, my favourite guns in cod4 where the m16a4, and the ak47, both of which were there from the off, and with the smg's, it was either the mp5, available again from the off, or the p90 which granted you had to unlock, but by the time youd got through the ak, m16a4 and mp5 challenge, you where pretty much there. EDIT: or maybe its just i suck at this, seen as charlie and callum both seem to be miles ahead of me on the score/level/xp front.

Whose going to prestige?? when they changed waw from 55 to 65, i had no problem prestiging, as it didnt take much time to get through (think it was circa 35 hours) however, this is going to take ages, doing some rough calculations in my head, im figuring at my current rate, its going to take me about 70 hours to reach prestige, obviously this wont be spot on, as my match bonus will increase as the levels increase, however,Im 22.4 ish % of the way to 70, yet have done half of the challenges of the guns ill use, (dont think smgs are goin to get much use, given map size, and im not a sniper), plus ive done a load of killstreak challenges, completed all the basic training ones im gunna complete most likely, plus im sure there where a bunch of challenges that arent listed worth like 500/1000 xp that came up when i first started playing so it may end up taking way longer than that. but to say its going to take 700 hours, thats like 4 weeks constant online play, to reach level 10, is fairly excessive to say the least.

Fuel relay just provides power to the fuel pump. Pass on location. however,rather than changing it, next time it happens just bridge it out with a bit of wire (will be a 4 pin relay, 1 pin is vehicle earth, 1 is a switched live, another is a permanent live, another a switched live, and an output, there will possibly be a diagram on the relay with pin numbers on it, which relate to the pins underneath (should be stamped in the plastic next to the pins) want to bridge the permanent live and the output out. if it still dont start youve eliminated your problem (and unless its under the bonnet I cant see it effecting it too much) Should be able to see if theres fuel pressure there, should just be able to crack off a nut on the fuel rail(wear goggles/look away, its not a dangerous pressure but you dont want it in your eye) and see whether fuel squirts out or not with the ignition off. turn it on, and if the car is still not starting properly, crack the nut off again(can leave the ignition on) if fuel is getting through. if you take off the air filter housing(big black plastic arranement on top of the engine), exposing the throttle body (give that a clean whilst your there) the fuel rail will be just behind the throttle body from memory. Other things it could be, which I dont really expect you to be able to/want to check. crankshaft sensor (its on the outside of the gearbox, so its vulnerable to water), basically tells your engine which position its in (on the 4 stroke cycle, not where it is in the car), if waters splashing up from the road, getting that wet, it could effect it, keep it standing for 10 minutes, it gets dry enough to start again, but takes a few minutes for the engine bay to get hot enough to dry it out. (thats clutching at straws) lambda sensor, relates to the fuel/air mix going into the engine, its on the exhaust, so is again vulnerable, water splashes up yadda yadda, It think its running to rich, reduces fuel delivery through the injectors(although one would think that it would still start with some pressing of the fast pedal) car is too lean to start, dries out, then within 10 minutes of starting, the exhaust gets that hot, it boils water on contact, so runs fine the rest of the journey. Idle contol valve is always my diagnosis with VW's that cut out/idle improperly/splutter/hesitate, (mainly because ive looked at 3 cars with that issue, and each time its been that, and I told my mate to check his, and it was with his as well). Dont see why its doing it in the wet only, or why its stopping after a few minutes, can understand it only doing it when the engines cold, but not just in the wet.

One thing thats really annoying me on the game is people following me, only to get me killed. happened a few times recently. Yesterday I was playing on Afghan,cold blooded perk, we were all in the bit with the plantation/the pill box closest to the front of the plane. firing onto people hid behind the humvee/in the plane/on the cliffs. I snook all the way round the back, over the cliffs, past the caves, and came round the path on the huvee, with like 4 guys in front of me, I didnt shoot, as I was in the open, hoping that If I got a bit of cover, I could have a pretty good chance of gettin all 4/ducking to reload. What happens, some idiot on my team respawns behind the caves, starts following me, and sticks his SMG in the air, rat tat tat(he may of been aiming at the enemy, but he sure as hell wasnt hitting them) his dot shows up on the uav,they spin round as Im moving to cover and Im dead. Likewise When Ive got the cold blooded perk, enemy uav goes up, and Ive got some idiot following me.

Ross pearson looked absolutely immense, for a UFC debute to say the least, wasnt like he was fighting another rookie either. To say he was unpredictable is an understatement. I just dont see how his next opponent can get much out of watching that fight tape other than; expect everything. Can quite easily see him moving up the 155lb class rather quickly (sam stout or the like for his next fight??) Hardy will get destroyed by GSP in my opinion. How the hell are we meant to know, really? We dont know what car it is, what year it is, what its worth, we dont know your dads driving history, how much he pays for insurance, who your insured with, where you live, what you do for a living, how many miles a year your dad drives the car for, whether your dads no claims bonus is protected. All these things will effect it. To be honest, its not even worth asking here, you need to ring your insurers and find out (or go on compare the market, and enter in the details that way, to get a rough guide of how much youd be paying for the year with it set up like that, on your dads policy)

Exactly my outlook on netbooks, laptops and them replacing desktops atm. Although in the last few months, all ive used is the web,itunes, vlc media player, msn, flashget and elastomania, all of which im sure will run on any netbook. but ill still be keeping my desktop. The whole internet thing is another thing that appeals to me, my phone can act as an ad hoc wireless router, I always have my phone on me, So anywhere I took the netbook with a 3g/3.5g single id have the internet at a perfectly usable speed. To JD, the photoshop thing is far from totally necessary, itd just be another feather in the cap of the netbook so to speak, If im away for the week or whatever (like I could of been in Inverness this coming week, but it fell through, but with the possibility of 3 weeks skiing coming up) take the camera with me, Im sat in my hotel room, bored, sore and tired at night, the ability to think "shit best back up my photos", I could then just retouch a couple of them in ps there and then. I feel for working on 1 or 2, the whole screen size thing wouldnt be an issue (and since theyd be goin on 7 x 5 prints, or for web) theyd fit on the screen at 100% there or thereabouts (and if I was away in wales on the mountain bike/motorbike for the weekend, Id be able to plug it into a 22/26 inch hdtv)
