Dave - once again thats not an argument, thats just posting a youtube video of a complete and utter chobber, who doesnt actually explain anything, or give any evidence From what I can gather, hes banging on about the mercury stuck into vaccines, and its weak links to autism. If you were willing to consider the reasoning behind putting mercury in vaccines (Its there to increase the effective life of the vaccine, so by the time it reaches africa or wherever it isnt completely useless and degraded, You could argue in the uk and us, they could do without the mercury, as transit times could be much quicker, but this would mean it would have to be made in smaller batches, shipped in smaller quantities to more places, at a higher cost, meaning not everyone could afford it) it makes sense, I havent one any research into it, but the fact that a lot of recent vaccines have higher mercury content than normal in them, also makes perfect sense, since the outbreaks of bird and pig flu, a lot more vaccines are being stockpiled so if there was a medical emergency where such an illness was spreading rapidly, there would be enough vaccines to vaccinate the majority of the population quickly and efficiently, this falls flat on its arse, on an operational and economical front, if the vaccines only have a shelf life of 12 weeks from date of creation). And also, the fact of putting preservatives in vaccines, totally undermines the argument that its there for the medical companies etc to make money, as if they could sell a batch of 20 million smallpox vaccines, every 3 months because the previous ones where no longer effective, they'd be making a lot more money) I also notice how 10 minutes of video could be condensed into about 30 seconds there(the bit where hes talking about how the virus's are grown, is totally irrelevant to his argument). The massive lack of evidence, the fact that there is a massive flaw in his argument "over 70% of people are against this vaccine, but the media interview 50 people and only put the interview of the one person who is pro vaccine, and put that on tv. If that is what would happen, its be 1 in 3 are pro vaccine, hardly as shocking as saying "they had to interview 50 people to find one that agreed with the vaccine". As for Alex Jones, do you honestly believe he is doing this just to set the world free, he is doing it, because he is a businessman(much like the people hes accusing of being in the nwo), Hes using peoples fear of terror and government control, and peoples easily led imaginations, to sell DVD's, books, T shirts, bumper stickers by feeding them some story that makes use of ordinary occurances, and gives them some sort of crazy, dangerous, undermining reasoning. EDIT : Also regarding autism, according to a quick google, less than 1% of american people register on the ASD scale, which doesnt account for people who are late developers,or just have poor social interaction skills, incorrect diagnosis etc(every child in the us is screened for autism with a test, after watching the news about the links, im sure parents convinced themselves and doctors of false positives). just because they register on the ASD scale, doesn't mean they cant function normally,as if you are on the ASD scale, it doesnt mean you have autism,it means you suffer from an autism related disorder. Would one not argue that mass vaccination of toddlers against a bunch of deadly diseases is a massive plus, and if they contain mercury, which may be a contributing factor towards an illness that effects less than 1% of the population, which in the majority of cases, is most likely caused by something else, and is not always detrimental to their quality of life, it is far better than not vaccinating children. At work we get people aged 15-19 on work placements from a local special needs school, id say weve had 9 or 10 over the past 4 years with various autism related disorders, some of whom have got GCSE's, and gone on to get basic jobs, I know 1 of them currently lives independently in a flat, some of them will never get jobs or be independent, but these are people with more severe forms of the condition(I think some of the less severe cases weve seen would of benefitted hugely from a regular school upbringing). Because of this we've had to gain some knowledge of the condition, and Ive read how it is screened, honestly, I think I could easily be diagnosed with it,with adult screening tests, without much difficulty, im naturally not that chatty, when nervous(as you would be in a screening like that) I have speech issues(stutter, rush myself etc), I walk in a none uniform way, have repetitive behaviour(I click my tongue regularly, for no apparent reason).

Regards cancer, I think JT's slightly off the mark, as is Matt. Sure cancer has increased significantly over the last few decades(as well as it being diagnosed better) but i think rather than being anything sinister and cloak and dagger, its purely because of the increase in chemicals in everything we wear, drink and eat, and the huge increase in pollution in the atmosphere. Not to mention as life expectancy has risen quite dramatically, cancer has been given longer to wreak its havoc on people. smoking, contributes to this in my opinion(on the whole pollution front, breathing in soot and smoke and chemicals) and the more pollutants we get the higher the risk. so having 5 cigarettes a day in the 20's whilst living in a fairly unpolluted town, wouldnt be hugely detrimental to health, brian the highway worker who smokes 40 a day, and works cutting holes in the road breathing in tar and dust, whilst having 1000 cars drive past every hour. Is pretty much bolloxed. Interesting, NWO style theory is the one of AIDS being man made to help eradicate blacks and homosexuals, its pretty far out there, but I once read an interesting study into it,(i dont believe it, it was just very very interesting, about the number of army soldiers who contracted aids whilst shagging multiple HIV positive people whilst on duty in africa, I later found out that if a man sleeps with a woman who is HIV positive the chances of him contracting aids are something of around 1 in 1000, and as it was blood born, and the huge number of tiny blood vessels around the rectum which rupture during anal sex ended up ruining most of the studies points with pesky science and reasoning. But I think matt has explained the idea of it being a bunch of companies acting together to benefit each other, with regards military action in oil rich nations etc. but that is business the world over, money is what drives everything, if people get exploited, or whatever, its not the primary concern of the rich. But thats a long way off from Diana being murdered, Babies been given deadly vaccines and george bush flying planes into sky scrapers.

Dave (thread starter, not marshall) none of your arguments make sense, well to be fair, they are not arguments, there just events, shouted out in list form, and instructions to open my eyes. A bunch of big companies and governments run the world, but this isn't some new world order, this is how business works. Some people have stuff other people want, and vice versa, so trades are done to benefit both parties. For example a local company to me "Morris" has its finger in several pies (lubricants, properties, land, game etc) as does another company "Tudor Griffiths" (builders merchants, land, quarries, waste disposal) now when they want planning permission for something, the council will always grant it. In return when the council need a piece of land owned by one of these estates for a road or whatever, they can always purchase it for a fair price(when if you owned it yourself, youd ask a ridiculous amount, because you know the council needed it regardless of price). This is just how the world works. America, needs oil to survive, therefore when BP/Shell need to access oil in places they maybe shouldn't, or couldn't, assistance is given. This isn't a global conspiracy, its business. Likewise we need business links with america, and we need oil, and an ally, so we help america in these situations. shouting out baby vaccines, princess diana, orgasms in a vw golf, just makes it sound like your playing a random word game, or have got a pretty poor form of tourettes. Business deals go on all the time, some behind closed doors, to ensure the rich stay rich, because thats how they like to be, the poor staying poor is just a by product of this. If Princess Diana was murdered, for whatever reason, it was just that a murder/assassination. Obviously there would be motives behind it, but again, these things happen all the time and aren't necessarily linked to NWO.

right, im confused to say the least. got a felt compulsion 2 2008(mint sauce ltd edition one), with the standard rockshox pike 409's on it, which are in need of a service, and if im honest, stiffer springs, as there set up for someone around 12 stone, im circa 17 stone when geared up with a pack on. which is going to run me(for oil and springs) £130 (springs are £120) which will still be cheap coil sprung pikes. been looking at new forks, and ive got mighty confused with the new steerer arrangment. I believe ive currently got 1 1/8 forks (i.e bog standard straight steerer) although ive always thought the headset cups looked super fat. turns out its got a 45mm bore headtube, with integrated headset. this isnt mine, but its identical frame and forks to give you an idea now i can get hold of 1.5 steerer forks very cheap. having a quick google, some people are saying you can fit a different headset, and fit 1.5" steerer forks, no ones said you cant, but all the 1.5" headsets, are the new international standard, which i understand, but doesnt really explain anything. other places are saying you could ream the faces out to accept a 1.5" external headset. but i dont have a clue basically is there anyway i can fit 1.5" forks in my frame, or is it just a no go.
-
generally yea, theres an access panel on the back, you unscrew and it clips in, some netbooks have it soldered in, so theres only one slot available, but generally its a doddle.
-
may be interested in your old forks if there not too expensive also got a commencal frame the other day, then realised i need to get a few rides under me belt this year before i change frames.
-
size dont mean to much, its all power:weight ratio, bigman was pushing 20 stone and producing some brilliant videos a couple of years back, TRA is probably still one of the top riders in the world, riding the best he ever has, hes coming up to 28, and is around 16 stone as far as im aware.

Boom, thought id stick it in there now, as I wont be home till about 6.45 tomorrow, which is a bit late to be starting crap/reminding people. Reading and Leeds tickets go on sale tomorrow at 7.15, view this as a reminder, and also who's going this year?? I don't know if I am going yet, line up rumours look a bit weak, (part from the foo fighters) Also if its anything like previous years, once someone gets into the weekend ticket page for each festival(the bit where you select how many tickets you want) make sure you copy that url, and once you've got your own tickets, stick the link up here so other people can use it, as the websites front pages will almost certainly crash.

Never said I was good at English, just said my spelling is really good,as is my typing(so I know I don't make spelling mistakes and generally don't make typing errors, so always assume my post will be readable and don't proof read it, and therefore don't correct grammatical errors(of which there is always plenty I'm aware, I write half my posts on my phone, so write how I would in a text/msn conversation). If regular members can't be sin binned, isn't that a bit off, one rule for one, one rule for the others. I currently agree with the way things are, with no new members chat, it's just that I feel sin binning new members for small errors, if they use txt talk fair enough, but if they misspell a couple of words or the like, I don't feel it should be sin binnable. Providing they've made some effort to post comprehensible English let them off IMO. For what it's worth I quite like the whole thing JT suggested of janitors or the like to stick this system into effect, I just think that it'd end up being a bunch of grammar Nazis, and new members would hesitate about posting because of the threat of sin bin, when they may have something of worth to say, but cant work possessive apostrophes or some shizzle.
-
It's not that I'm bad at English in the slightest, if anything it is the opposite, because I know I write in paragraphs, and my spelling is really good I don't tend to proof read my posts, as I've never found apostrophes or capitalizing I's or names important to reading stuff, I don't do it when I text people and I text in proper English too. When read in context(which is how stuff is read) I never find don't any easier to read than dont, sure if it came from someone who wrote with extremely poor English and you could barely understand the rest of the sentence, I could understand why the apostrophe would help you work out what that one word meant(as the word could of been dent as it was that full of spelling mistakes). But if someone had posts that bad that you could barely read them, I'd think apostrophes wouldn't be the main issue. The reason for asking is I've seen a few people on here suggest me for senior member a couple of times(something that I'm not overly fussed about.) I always viewed myself as not getting it because I like to rip into people/tell them about themselves a bit too much and outside of the car thread my knowledge, and therefore help is limited (not to mention my posting outside of chit chat is largely non-existent). As opposed to not being chosen because of my poor English. reading the first few posts in here people who don't use perfect capitals and punctuation getting through to full members is a bad thing. As I believe it should be one rule for one,one rule for all I was a little worried that if JTs' whole janitor idea was implemented, Muel and JT would be sin binning me (quite rightly so) for the offence of not putting a capital at the start of their name when slagging them off, as that is the kind of stuff they'd be looking for in posts from a new member. Granted I'm not going to change how I post in the hope of becoming a senior, as although It'd be nice to become one, I'm not going to change my behaviour in the hope of getting it as I just don't want it that bad, sure the Tartybikes 25% discount and access to Joe Mahers' back catalogue of naked photoshoots with male actors would be a perk, but as I neither ride or practise homosexuality no more, I wouldn't make use of them. I also think there are plenty of people who should get it long before I do. But if all of a sudden I might be sin binned for life, I guess I best stick a bit more effort into my posts. EDIT: hang on, why the hell am I saying this to you two, your both bloody northern, you can barely speak the language.
-
fair enough I'll try to be better from now on, the way I read stuff, if there is commas and fullstops there and the first word of every sentence is capitalized, I never ever notice apostrophes or capital I's or capital first letters of names when reading stuff, so quite often forget when I'm writing it(unless I'm sending an official email for work or whatever, in which case I read everything over and correct any I've missed then.)
-
not so much into liquid d and b myself(well i am but i find i can only listen to it as background music whilst doing something else), if you havent subscribed to it, quantum DnB's channel on youtube is great for hearing decent stuff. other than that, I'd probably wait for max quinn to post in here, as he always seems to link everyone to the best dnb/dubstep/hip hop. EDIT: you've probably heard all this stuff before but just thought I'd list whats on my itunes in that kinda genre; High Contrast London Elektricity Netsky Danny Byrd Deep Blue Seba (blaze and fade out is an absolute tune) Batchelors of science.
-
Erm, can i just question you a second, i think most of my posts are in proper english (i know i say words like reet etc, but i dont text talk) and i tend to use commas and fullstops,I split my text into blocks/paragraphs etc, however when i hardly ever capitalize correctly and never use apostrophes. Is my posting sufficiently bad that i should be back in NMC or the like? EDIT : I purposefully didn't use apostrophes, or capitalize my I's in that post, even though normally I'd do it on as many as I noticed, but I generally miss a few/hit post without spellchecking/reading my post through so I can go correct them, as I know my spellings pretty much spot on and I can always edit later.

bump, hit a new pb with the deadlift yesterday, of 187.5 kg. had a go at 193.25 too, got it off the floor, past the knees, but couldnt fully extend the legs(i know its the easiest bit of the lift, but i was knacked) boom weighing 228lbs, and deadlifting 415. next mission is to get the bench past 200, but i got a feeling thats going to take me a couple of months(only thing is, im right into it at the moment)
-
theyve also got the onza comp on there stupid cheap (over £200 less than tarty) and its actually in stock, sure the zoot was in stock when i saw it the other day. wiggle are a multi million pound business, and selling stuff that cheap, so obviously still making a profit, this means adam etc at tartybikes must be making billions per year?!?!?! no but seriously if a customer range up wanting to price match in this situation would you be forced to oblige??
-
erm, some peoples house insurance will accept it if you add it to it, otherwise i know carole nash and performance direct do, or at least have done it in there past, there used to be a company that insured any bike off road upto a value of £2000 for theft or fire, for £59.99 i think, providing you kept it in a brick built garage, but the name escapes me.

Teenage Angst Communal Agony Aunt Thread
Fish-Finger-er replied to Has anyone seen my shoe?'s topic in Chit Chat
had a similar thing happen to me(minus the filming and handcuffs) basically after i told her there wasnt an us, she said it was rape, few people had seen her on top of me, so it was clear that it wasnt, I ended up spending 6 months on bail, before the CPS decided to drop all charges, which kind of sucked in a way, as it was dropped due to lack of evidence proving my guilt,(as i wasnt) it meant she didnt get done for wasting police time, despite police officers at the time telling my solicitor that their view on it was it was just a woman scorn. things you need to be sure of, 1) at no point did she say stop, 2)that she either instigated the sex, or you asked, and she consented( this rules out any chance of her using the she didnt know what was going on/was to drunk to function excuse). if those 2 things happened, then the long and short of it is, its not rape, and your not guilty, unless shes got people backing her up, its your word versus hers and the cps will be unlikely to pursue it any further. other things of use, i believe(although am not 100% certain) that anything shes done in the past, will be taken into account by the cps before they decide to charge you. so if shes cried wolf before, and its got that far, theyll know about it, if it hasnt got that far before, no reason it will do this time. the police may be researching you, so may be monitoring what you say on here. if filming without consent is a crime, i wouldnt admit to it. supposedly the amount of fake rape allegations to the police is around 8% of all reported cases, so they will be well versed in dealing with it without evidence. your also innocent till proven guilty and as your not guilty, and theres zero evidence to prove you are guilty, there is no way unless you confess to something you havent done that youll be convicted for it. (supposedly only 1% of reported rape cases end in prosecution anyway) however you will quite clearly be guilty of filming without consent, (i guess itd be exactly the same as you sticking cameras in the changing rooms at topshop) youd still be viewed as a sexual pervert, and a criminal, and most likely be stuck on the special register, and not allowed to work with kids(sure you may not want to be a teacher, but i work for bt, i still had to be CRB checked before i could work for them). either way, if you get arrested for rape, say goodbye to getting to the states for a holiday or the like, without some major ballaches regardless of conviction or not. -
On The Subject Of The Impending Energy Crisis.
Fish-Finger-er replied to Matt Vandart's topic in Chit Chat
you may be onto something, you know the whole idea of dangling a carrot in front of a donkeys nose, im thinking we set the wheels up in chains of 3 or 4, directly behind each other with transparent wheels. so you got a smallish wheel at the front, with say with a grasshopper in it, next one back would be a shrew, so the shrew would think if it ran faster, itd get the grasshopper, then lets say a snake, thinking if it runs quicker, itll get the shrew, then behind that a mountain lion. but this has the added bonus, of if they were to look back theyd think the predator behind them was chasing them, and run faster still. a similar one could be set up, with like door mouse, cat, dog, korean man. then just to give everyone a major boot up the arse, right at the back, honey badger. regarding the energy crisis,Im about as green as i can be, i think, i drive a diesel car, i dont make unneccesary journeys, (im not saying i need to go shopping to the town 15 miles away on saturday, but i dont just go for drives, or drive 200 metres),i dont leave lights on, i dont use the heating hardly at all. sure i could not turn anything on in the house, not use my cooker at all, and start jogging 35 miles a day to and from work, but realistically that isnt going to happen, about the only thing i do, is take plenty of holidays that involve flying, which I realise isnt exactly environmentally friendly, however I dont charter a private flight, and every flight would still occur if i didnt go on it, I know everyone thinking that way means nothing will change, but i dont think its an individual that needs to make the change, big companies and governments do. -
pretty much what boatsy said, although to be fair, If your bulking, or just working out and not watching your weight too much, I dont see kfc as a particularly bad choice. with regards to your supplements, on top of what has already been said, you say youd never juice, you realise some of the guys who are taking roids are taking a whole lot more natural stuff than you(namely those injecting testosterone) t3/ t4 is basically a pro hormone, and also illegal. not to mention there both practically the same thing(if memory serves me correct its similar to the whole GHB/GBL scenario, one was banned, so they basically produced another compound which your body will break down into the original compound, but theyve banned both now anyway) ECA stack, you aware of what that is?? ephedrine caffeine Aspirin used for cutting fat primarily, but on the scale of stimulants, ephedrine sits right between caffeine and amphetamines(speed), its also illegal, unless prescribed by a doctor(usually in super low doses for chest pains). but yea, your sticking more chemicals in your body, with seemingly little knowledge of what there doing to you or whats in them,(a 2 minute google has revealed nitrobolan contains BCAA's,as does a lot of whey protein, and your supplementing them) than the guys that are very much into juicing, but take care in how they do it, for big gains. if you got all this stuff from that shop, they are worse than the gym you said got closed down for steroid use, at least in there they were only selling to people in the gym, whereas from the sounds of it this supplement store are selling illegal dangerous supplements to any tom dick harry or pete that walks in there. as for me, i do lift, although struggling to take it seriously, as all my local gyms are crap for lifting big, so only tend to actually take it seriously when im at my mates. currently sat around 16 stone 11, about 17.5 inch biceps at a guess(i dont measure them), deadlift 400lbs, leg press about 550, bench is absolutely awful, sat around 170lbs. ideally id be this weight and have a 500lb deadlift and a 250lb bench, or be 14-14.5 stone with the same lifts i got now. main thing ive found for getting big/increasing strength is to fob off all the crappy cable curls, tricep extensions, etc for a couple of weeks, and go back to getting a bar,a bunch of heavy weights, and just lift the thing off the floor/off your chest. but the gym that i attend has took the olympic bar away, and theres no actual bench, only a smith machine, which sucks.
-
1 to see if itll fit, the other to make it fit??
-
might as well stick it in here, im very very annoyed with my desires battery life(freshly rooted, so ill see how things go from here) but ive got an awesome idea for an app, but im sure someone must of already thought of it, so i just need to find it. basically when i was in maga last year, i had my phone on the whole time, but had mobile data turned off, since it would of cost me loads for it, and the phone lasted a good 5 days off a charge, with just light messaging usage etc, now ive got it rooted, it knocks the processor speed right down when the screen is off, is there anyway of getting it to knock mobile data off as soon as the screen is off, since the phone could still do the whole send/recieve calls and messages things like a phone, it just wasnt smart, but to be fair, when its in my pocket, it dont need to be a smartphone, it can be a phone that rings me and doesnt sap all power.
-
im going to try and be common as possible, and hit up somewhere for sun, watered down booze, and women who leave their knickers and morals at home.
-
dont know how current this is, but i was going to get a hp pavilion dm1 before i got my netbook, and the other thing that I was considering against it was the "acer ferrari one" granted its got a horrible top lid, unless your into being a chobber. but the specs were mighty impressive, i didnt bother with it in the end, but only because i needed hdmi out
-
sorry to rock up to the party late, but we ran a fair few focaye(granted i only got to work on the later mark ones), never had to do that with the module, only thing i came across on a couple of them, is where the wiring goes through into the boot lid, (top centre of the boot shut) when i removed the outer sheath, the cables inside had been crushed/worn through the outer sheathing, one of them may be cut clean in 2, or earthing out on the boot lid.
-
I also supplemented that lot with a bunch of heavy weight training, but i like being somewhat of a powerhouse. and unless your into being stupid strong its not really necessary. but yea, you look at all the massive guys on the bodybuilding scene, for most of them cardio is such a small part of their training its unreal, some of them will do a bit of treadmill walking, but not much else, all their calories burnt comes from lifting, as at the end of the day, to move/lift weight requires energy, the reason lifting weight isnt recommended for weight loss is because a lot of the weight loss ideas are centred around people who only lift light weights, and use the scales to measure themselves, id rather be my current weight now (16 stone 7) and look like i currently do, than back when i was 14 stone, and just a fat muscle-less mess. but yea, obviously if your a 9 stone woman, who can only use weight machines, and say chest presses 14kg 45 times(3 x 15) saying theres 2 foot of movement, their only moving 1,260kg 1 foot. but like im currently deadlifting 155kg 30 times ( 5 x 6) and the movement on that is about 2.5 foot, which means im moving 11,625kg one foot, so you can see how on a purely energy expended front, to complete one of my exercises in the gym, im using 10 times as much energy as someone who isnt lifting heavy, in just getting the bar to my waist, before we talk about resisting the force of gravity on the way down/energy expended in the repair of muscle tissue. but if your willing to grin and bare it and lug/lift heavy crap around, you can quickly use up large amounts of energy, as well as building muscle (which apart from looking good, burns calories by just existing) might rekindle the training thread, seen as im getting back into it, although im going to have to find a new gym, ours seems to of removed the olympic bar.
