Its applied threw the chain to the cog which is attached to the ratchet body.

I have always thought that it was the outer diameter off the inner tooth of the ratchet body(where the pawls engage) where the torque is applied also the load on the axel and bearings. L8rzzzzzzzz

Yeh the rim tape looks good to me too.Maybe its a foreign thing??But the grind is not a factory grind.
