Not Many EPs 4 the money

So i've had a try-all freewheel since early march-ish and it's well and truly dieing (Slipping, Skipping, Making noises @ least 5 times a ride) & i'm after 1st choice. an SL 2nd choice. any of the 72 EP freewheels (RockMan, V!Z etc but not monty). Recommendations/review links please

Cheers 4 the pics matty! I know the forks are a touch heavy but I got them cheap (i.e. 0 pounds 0 pence) off gaz (the stock riding weirdo in the back of the pic) so blame him & any way they are better than the lites I had cos it makes the wheelbase shorter. It's really not bad is it? and it's a try-all freewheel (BTW it is SHIT and keeps making noises every so often, really not worth the money) and a monty disc hub cos i wanna go DD sum time soon, sick of maggies and spoke keys. LOL

Will buying a proper bike help you out? Er yeah, no end. and if that pic is sommet like ur riding now no wonder u can't do much. to be honest i'm fairly amazed u can do that much. Find a good bike and you should be very good because it sounds like u have got the basic bike control already nailed. BTW have u thought about buying a mod? even the type of ancient monty that gets passed around for 50 quid should suit you're purpose.

Mate, the 'scene' round here is us three, 2 people from ulverston and there mate who travelles (sp?) from preston but i'm not moaning, it could quite easily be just me or matty riding on are own. BTW matty cheers for the pics.

Clarks are supposed to be the best or try avid's own braided type one (I can't remember the name, Give me a minute.) EDIT: I found it on CRC, Its a Sram Flak jacket cable but they only come in a set of 2 cables. CRC is a good place to start though. Try a new headset or as a longshot get someone to powdercoat the inside of the headtube and use the paint to fill the gap mabye? I think it could work but i'm only guessing.

Heres the deal. Which pads do I choose: 1) heatsink pads (any, I'm not sure which to pick) 2) Atomz Pads in powerpad backings (cheap option) 3) Atomz Pads in Heatsink backings. I'm using an 05 spec maggie with a less than perfect oil bleed (I'm gonna sort that though), deng lever blade, a smooooth onza ronnie rim, no booster and original Zoo! pads (which are suprisingly awful) @ the moment. EDIT: I am NOT going to get a grind.

When I was learning I tried to bash this ~ 3ft high rock which was sitting on a 1.5ft rock making the drop ~6ft. I got on it, lost my balance, fell backwards and bounced 2/3 times on my head. a new helmet was deffanately (sp?) needed.

Do you hate the magura louise or discs in general? If you hate the magura sell it and buy a 185mm BB7 with SD7 Lever. Otherwise get another rim.
