thanks bud, thats a lot easier than last year. -
I get the advantage of tapered steerer and like the idea, but surely that headtube could be machined in a way so it doesn't look so damn fat! EDIT: anyone else think the forks look alot like urbans?

Brilliant idea mate. I know personally I couldn't down fluids fast enough (didn't help the mountain rescue ran over my bottle & made a litre of juice explode onto the floor ) and gary (gage mann) got heatstroke last year. so bear in mind your gonna need a fair amount. And is it ok if I bring the disclaimer and pay on the day?? EDIT: and where would I hand it in?? when I sign in i guess. -
Or in case you didn't get that http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/images/custom/stems/large_echorulertip.jpg Some punctuation ^ would be nice please mate, I had trouble understanding you.

Ermm how can I put this VEEE BRRAAKE Despite using some swiss cheese tektro arms I got off a chav bike I bought for a tenner, and a wilko cable, my V is epic (IMO obviously). The secret being inspired Phats and SD7 lever. It's so good that it cracked my because forks The scary thing is that with stiff forks and arms it could be twice as good, not forgeting the grind and brake booster i don't have Obviously a brake this good with no modulation is not practical around town, the main reason I stuck with BB7, But who said riding a bike that is slow, has no seat and loud brakes was practical anyway???

you don't need to change slaves or cut bolts or owt like that. if your bothered about the pressures being equal, cut the line going the m8 side a tad shorter. thats what I did with mine but I snapped the prong being to rough. IMO it shouldn't have prongs but 3 tapped M6 holes so you screw in barbs like in slaves. or is it just me?

it's like that czech biketrial game from a couple of years back but textured better. the gameplay is identical though...

Details please...

IMO try-all stuff also has that sort of machining quality but the designs let them down... the BB bent through normal use (no big drops or street stuff) and the freewheel lasted 4 months (and that was when i was half as good as i am now)

How Much Of Your Own Maintenance Do You Do?
CC12345678910 replied to bikeperson45's topic in Bike Chat
Used my actually rather good LBS the other week for the first time in about a year to buy and have a star nut installed. everything else is done by me, my mates lending a hand or buy tarty when I buy the stuff new. The way it should be me thinks... -
Handlebar Height For A Gu Typhoon 26"
CC12345678910 replied to trialsguyperth's topic in Trials Chat
Bar height is a totally personal thing like what grips or pedals you use but l have some publicity photos from when they came out (presuming you are on about the pre 2008 models) That used a 130 x 15mm Echo stem (they can still be found on selectbikes) with low rise GU bars (the zoo! versions come up for sale often enough) with 10/20mm of stackers (I'm doing this off the top of my head) and GU forks. I would either start with that or work out how high that is (if you can be arsed) and make ajustments to suit your taste. -
oh... Looks like I picked a bad example. But you will all know examples of what I am talking about though.

Looks suspiciously like this http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?product_id=10235&keywords=A2Z+Wavy And this... http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?product_id=10218&keywords=V%21Z+Wavy Really do wish people would design there own stuff more often, instead of making a mark up on other peoples cheaper products.

I Meant the single ply maxxis mate, sorry. I'm hoping It'll be like the michelin rock'r I bought off you the other week but that didn't fit in my frame so I sold it. I did a couple of hops on the back wheel (with it scraping away) and it felt alright so hears hoping this big betty thing will be OK. Sounding good so far. Wear rate please??? Thank you.
