works same as one of those olde one peice stem/steerer jobbies. the little bit at the bottom pulls upwards and in effect it locks into place.

was it janson who had the cresent illions with the super light front wheel. something like just 8 blue nylon spokes??????

yeah do that i have doen it before. just make sure the seatpost goes plenty way down into the seat-tube.

tim you tart why didnt you say you had bars?????? i managed a new top speed for my van too. 105mph with 4 people and 3 bikes and kit. AWESOME!!!! will deffo come to the next one and help out too :(

my ride: lowered 100mmrear and 40mm (maybe more??) with nova SRI springs all round. soon to have GSI front bumper and rear one colour coded. also got a red jap style back box with chrome end piece. clear front and side indicators. 17" TSW Lightenings with Yokohama tyres. waynios ride: custom lowered around 80mm all round. sony head unit, one 600w 12" sub, one JBL 1000w 12"sub, one 600w amp, one 400w amp, two pairs of door speakers and one pair of 6x9's. dark smoke window tint (fitted by me and wayne took 3 hours and still shody as f**K) now is sat on these bad boys but not just 17", not even 18" but 19" measuring a whole 25" tall with tyres on. very very cheap from ebay.

yeah 'Pirtek' are a national company (we service a few of their vans at work) good idea i think i might try get them to do some for me and a few mates.

have you considered the Ti bash????? im pretty sure that might make it too easy for a 12th rear thought. apart from that eitehr live with it or save up to get tensiles.
