  1. that's sweet, i used to use a similar setup for my braked bike back in the day, 'bout 10 years ago. I sold the forks to a mate who put them on his slick tired town bike. One night we were pissed and he rode into a tree stump at full ramming speed. The frame was crumpled and in two bits but the forks weren't even scuffed! Prob good for brakeless if they're gonna be rammed into things to stop...

What's the deal with log cabins? don't know if i can be assed with a tent considering the wind and rain right now! don't think max is keen as he hates shitty weather... johnies working... Ross? can't believe the weathers ok up there, it's pretty mad here! had snow, hail, pissing rain and stormy gusts.

  12. hey gary, looks like no one's keen. I'm not too sure now about driving all that way on my own with dodgy road conditions. I'll definitely be keen to come up in better weather as it seems a great spot to ride. ride now there's not even any word on glasgow!

    I'm going on a climbing trip to alicante in january and have decided to take my trials bike with me cos i always spy lines and get pissed off when i don't have a bike with me :-) I searched the forum and saw a bit where you mentioned alicante. Is there any obvious spots around about that area you could recommend? cheers, -Rab

  16. Hi Gary, Are the boulders/rock snow free up there? would be a nice option if glasgow was covered in snow. Not sure how easy it would be for everyone to get there? i could drive me and johnie up.... -Rab
  17. i'm always up for a ride! it's nice to get trips away as i tend to get sick of the same old street. new natural stuff's definitely a plan! i have a car and stay in edinburgh so can drag along folks from here too if they're keen.
  18. yeah, was really looking forward to tomorrow but doesn't look it can happen. There's still snow on the street's in edinburgh so the quarry will be pretty covered. Just hope it's ok for street in glasgow next weekend!
