Basically use electrical tape. stick a non sticky side down first around the rim with the sticky side facing up. then do another layer with both sticky sides touching.

Deng frames seem to be getting poorer in the quality and design. i prefer the 2006-2007 models as they had amazing design and geo these ones seem to be a tad longer and higher.

Cheers connor mate! Took 1 link out of me chain . then changed my front ring to a 20t so im now on 20-18. Bike rides a beast now no skipping or anything. A happy Andy

It has got reasonable tension its not too tight or too slack its an 18t cog so its bound to wrap around very well with me using an additional 22t front ring im concerned its my tensioner with a fault but not sure. Im just trying to get a quick soloution to bed it in.

Im concerned it could be the links when i fitted it today it was a long chain i must of took out atleast 8-9 links. How many links are ment to be wrapped around the cog? I dont want to go through the hassle of spending money on my bike as i need to save for stuff none bike related im just trying to solve this problem cheaply.

I myself am suffering a problem similiar of bedding in new chains. Im running: middlburns 22t ( 2 weeks old) hope pro2 with a 18t cog (2weeks old) Surly tensioner ( 2 days old) Kmc chain the £9.99 ones forgot the model. ( 5-6 hours old) But in the last 2 weeks my bike hasnt been through a serious thrashing due to weather so not having to ride. im just working out a quicker soloution to bed my chain quicker as its still making a skip.

Tryed that and always did that soloution in the past with problems with seizing chains especially srams ive been through 3-4 different types of sram chains i think its about time to upgrade to more of a trials specific one like a gusset or kmc depends am not update to date with what chains are good etc. But am trying my best to unseize it ive currently left a ball of blue roll in tf2 around the seized link that was my dads idea so im gonna have to leave it and see what magic happens over night.
