I know this may sound stupid or of topic. But are you running a gear cable through the mech backwards so that the nipple is in the stoppie and some cable is laced out of it.

Planet x are now a manufacturer who have basically stopped producing products this was in 2002-2003. But yeah the bmf rims are strong bit like a try-all but no holes. Even the old onza half fat rims were just the same as the bmf's. Ebay!

I dont no who to put this but someone will get what i mean. I know your gonna get a quick bite without a booster but every time your pads push against your rim this will be causing flexing to the frame and your cylinders will be moving further away from the rim. If your pads catch on your booster and your feeling asif your not getting enough power trying grinding the inner section of the booster its what i did made my brake better.

The design of the tensioner looks good bit of a mix between a rohloff and a surly but i wanna see if anyone has snapped a mech hanger yet using one? I have gave up using tensioners involving mech hangers as i was snapping loads but currently using a 74kings.

The shimano deore lx ones think thats the name. there strong as hell solid steel axel im running my middleburns on it at the moment just remember to grease the tapers before fitting your cranks as they seat in better and prevent creakings.

Lets face it try-alls are best. Grinds on try-alls last longer compared to echo ones. Echo rims dent easier. Try-alls are just bomb proof.

Echo Hifi stem. They come in varies of degrees and lengths depending on the height of the b.b on your t-rex. As there dimensions suit with the right specific rise.

Take it out. Clean the b.b and shell. Whack some grease in and tighten it not overtight.
