They are lovely. I recieved a letter at work the other day from hope advertising these as its only a month special through june. They have pretty much done a varie of colours for the brakes such as red, pink, gunmetal, green, silver and limited edition purple which was done for mbuks anniversery bike.

That was really good nicely mellowed out. Shame your riding comes to an end with your new job. I wish all the best for your new job. What job is it your doing out there?

I like that its nice. I my self have a 06.5 pure but the brushed silver one. Where abouts have you cracked it and possibly a pic please?

Ah yes the new hayes stroker. Its actually a disc brake with an adjustable tpa instead of using a allen key to adjust the lever settings i havent tryed them out but i work in a local bike shop and some of the new 2008 gt and mongoose bikes have them. Id class it more as a cross country lever ive just had a set of hayes nines on me xc bike and changed em for some mono minis.

well im on a 20:18 ratio and that still gets me around. Erm if im right about 1000g or more you save as i have upgraded to a 74 kings tensioner but ill be putting some trialtech carbon spacers just to make it a tad lighter.

I use to run gears on me echo pure heres the set up i had: 6speed pro2 trial hub 8 speed sram shifter 9 speed shimano tiagra mech + A bit of tweeking = 6 running gears But ive now gone single speed saving a shed load of weight.

Local bike shop near me. I enjoy it a lot been there for nearly 2 years learnt lots of stuff. Sell products, Companys ebay basically all the shop floor work task with the manager. Im hoping to move onto a music shop 20 mins away out of town in doncaster called electros music. I play drums and wouldnt mind selling them etc. but i think ill leave that until am in uni.

Looks nice. My mate has some shimano saint hydraulic discs on his xc bike and they have so much power and a nice soft leverage.

There a good tyre ive still got mine which i got from the tarts at the bike show for £16 ive noticed there not on the website. Try chainreaction or go to a local maxxis dealer. Mint tyres they were.

Tesco innertubes I dont know about the whole idea of reducing weight on a mod but id just look on tarty and compare the weights between different branded products then calcualte the weight at the end.

Good riding there. is it a modstock frame? Or a proper 135mm spacing? Just out of intrest how tall are you? What length is the frame? What stem are you running? Am just curious of geometery for when i get a new frame.
