Hi there folks after getting back into trials i am really tempted to get a new frame. I currently ride a echo pure 06.5 which was running a 10+ b.b and 1075 length. Feels good to ride but am looking for something ith a lot more b.b height for street riding. Few questions regards of swapping parts from my pure to the zoo. Whats the maximum tyre width the frame will take as i am currently running a 2.35 highroller if it takes wider i may go back to a michelin hot s. Also in my echo it took a 127.5mm square taper b.b i was running middleburn cranks will the frame spacing be ok? Also whats the frame like to ride? I come across one video and the guy ridiing it made it look easy to throw about. Also feel free to post pics of yours aswell. Thanks Andy

Looking back i have just found that its wrong being like that. Ametuers critiscising begginers its just wrong ok maybe have the odd laugh jokingly but being all serious its just wrong. Most of those dicks who i had rode with most of them had quit. They maybe realised they was getting to big for there boots. I cant stand people up themselves.

Basically i just thought i would post this topic with me now being back on the forum. When i first started trials back in xmas 2003 i had a onza t-vee ok it wasnt the best bike in the world but it did me just to get me started. Over the years i had being learning the basics meeting new people in my town who rode. But when in 2005/2006 when i was 14/15 i met riders from different towns and riding with them. Who always use to give me abuse for my level of riding ability they never said it to me in person only on here. That was because i bought some bars off someone in cleethorpes ( at that time i had onza t-mag 2005) after a few days later i said to the person thinking they were bent and next thing they all fell out of me over a stupid thing like that. I even had one town of riders saying to me when a get good enough i can ride with them and the amount of stuff i use to hear about me behind my back ripping me for my ability. well to be honest we all start somewhere when we learn whether its a job/sport etc.. we are all a newbie at one point in life. I am now 19 riding a echo pure 26 and looking back of how people use to critcise me for my ability i thought it was childish how else are newbies gonna learn? I always felt it was best to ride with people who are more experienced to learn from them. Now that i would say i have got a bit better i enjoy helping new people who have got into trials not just turn them down saying there crap. Basically wondering if anyones got any storys how they felt from when they started Thanks Andy

Hey there first time ive been on this forum in a good long while basically ive got back into trials with a few other mates who use to do it. Basically just curious who still rides in lincolnshire such as scunthorpe, barton,brigg, cleethorpes, grimsby etc. Maybe try and get a ride organised? Thanks Andy

You need to stop riding the same spots which you have been doing for the last 3 years. you need to get yourself out and about with me and go places around the whole of in and out of scunthorpe. This is where its at ( pic below ) just near morrisons/timberlands

Hello been off the sport now for 6 months due to riders giving up and me myself having new job. Just wondering is there any still or near riding in scunthorpe. i know luke drewery doesnt have a bike as it use to be mainly me n him that rode. Would love to get back into it. just watched britains got talent and noticed on one of the little clips theres somone on a silver stock with a silver xen helment doing a sidehop. Who was it if its anyone on here lol?

Some good pics there. I know theres loads of spots in gainsborough some which i wanna ride like marshalls yard. You ride in gainsborough often? Will have to arrange something when i pass my driving test.

Hi there ive just recieved this months pay at work and im thinking of getting a new frame. i currently ride a echo pure 06.5 and fancy something a bit different on length and bottom bracket height. i am 5ft 10/11 medium build My set up on my pure consists of: 1080 wheel base 10 b.b 71 head angle trialtech risers zhi forks 130x15 hifi stem 10mm stacker thats just a rough idea of what my set up is on geo. the st has a 72 head angle 1085 length, and 45 b.b. the tp has 71 head angle, 1085 length and 60 b.b i mainly ride street and want something ideally for taps, sidehops, gaps etc. Just want to know peoples oppinions going from low b.b frames to high b.b. Looks really nice is it a st? ive been thinking of getting an st as the geo is inbetween well sort of. whats your oppinions on it compared to other bikes?

First bike ive seen with not one deng part on it. Talk about weight saving near enough everything is drilled:O. The small amount of noise you mentioned could possibly be something you have drilled/modified as there may be a stress point on the bike somewhere. Looking tidy aswell the bike. Andy

Could be lost in the post. Im still waiting for some parts for my drum kit which ive been waiting 3 weeks now. Ive ordered some forks from trials man before and they came quick.

Is yours long? And how tall are you and what stem do you run?

To be honest i am really stuck on what to do. theres only 1 degree difference on the head angle compared to my pure and the a1. theres only 5mm b.b difference compared to my pure and the short a1. the pure measures at 1080 wth zhi forks where as the a1 short measures at 1070 with urbans. I dont what will suite best for my riding style as in proper full on street like gaps,sidehops,drops etc.. I cant really ride one as no one in my area rides as theres only me and this other lad who ride trials in my town. Anyone got any videos of people riding both the short and long a1's just out of intrest? I mean i have rode a couple of frames in the past i rode a czar ivan long a year ago when a mate use to ride and that felt really long but i was 5ft6/7 back then and they measure at 1100 but he was using fatty forks. Soory to be awkward people but i really need to know what is going to be best for me. Thanks for all your help and time but more investigation is going to be required.

My set up on my pure for geo is. echo pure frame 06.5, zhi forks, echo stem 130x15. I still find my self to cramped on the bike. It rode lovely when i got it but now that i have grown the geo feels to cramped. my bike now measures at 1080. I was just thinking that little bit extra b.b height and little more length might help. But i think i am gonna need more suggestions but thanks for your help. I mean everyone does have there own personal preferences.

Hey there i am soon to be buying a new frame and i have been looking at the adamant a1 long. which is 1090 length and 25 b.b My frame which am running now is a echo pure 06.5 which is 1070 length and 10b.b. to be honest it feels really short and i fancy a change. I am 5ft 10 medium build would you reccomend this as a good frame to flick about. As my echo pure just feels too low and short to flick up. Need quick answers
