Yeah cant beat riding clee i havent rode there in 3 years n missed it! I will let you know a date for a ride will you be bringing others with you? Id say scunny is quite good not many people have ever rode there. The riding spots are divided into 2 sections one side which is the main town side and then ashby/bottesford side. But theres a lot of street and natural spots to ride plus theres a riding spot on the way to each one. which is good

I got the offset clamps as they were what me local bike shop had n they were off me pure. I am gonna try some standard magura ones which im getting of a mate for £5. But the crank has never caught the cylinder before only when it comes to re-setting the brake. As for pics i aint got any.

Hi there guys i recently got a 06 stock 2nd hand of someone on here. Recently i have come across a fault of setting the brake up. As the crank arm catches on the hs33 slave cylinder. The set up im using is: 06 gu stock long frame 04 magura hs33 127.5 square taper b.b 170mm middleburns czar brake booster tensile offset brake mounts 42mm rear try-all rim So far i think it could be the b.b or the brake mounts? As ive swapped the mounts from in to out set. I can get the brake reasonably set up but the pad catches every now and then. Anyone ever come across this fault before? Andrew

Hi there now that im back into riding after a 2 year break and with there been a large trials scene in my town and near by. The group i ride with we are thinking of a clee ride. Very good place to ride some of zoo vid 23 clips are filmed there plus there is signhills school which is trials playground. Along with seafront spots and the leisure centre etc.. Basically heres a rough estimate of people if it was to happen: Me Mikey ( thinkdougie) Ricky Konel Neal Simon Jack Ryan Sam Nath and possible others? I am currently at uni at the moment and not sure when my half term is as that could suit everyone else better? Unless everyone would prefer a weekend either saturday or sunday? Anyone up for it in future? Andy x

Theres a field in scunthorpe with loads of concrete pipings where we ride. VID Look at the pic n watch the vid with the clips where theres concrete tubes n slabs all layed out. Scunthorpe is located in lincolnshire only 45 mins away from sheffield. If you fancy riding the place let me know and i can quite happily meet you and show you all the spots Thanks Andy

Just got back! Great ride i enjoyed it. Really great turn out on riders who came 16 of us in total which was impressive. Thanks for the barton guys and wally coming through. Hopefully we shall ride again in future . Bit of a bummer of getting kicked of at brit corner Pics to follow which i shall post in riding pictures soon. I didnt get many but i suppose its something

Insane! What psi do you run in your rear tyre to prevent snake bites? Do you still ride hull much with you living there? Its just im from scunthorpe over the bridge and wouldnt mind riding there one day Keep it up x

XC helmets are the best. Only bad things with pee pots: They make you look like theres a turtle on your head Not enough ventilation plus your head will be sweating like madd. Good things with xc helmets is i have the giro e2 which is the top end one and they are a really nice shape n style. plus comfy and very well ventilated. Ive had my e2 2 years paid £69.99 from chain reaction still going strong a very good investment

Hi there just a quick topic just curious what innertubes everyone is using and what they have found the best. So far i have used: Tesco tubes which are the best i have come across they work even better with an old tube cut in half n wrapped around it. Wilkos tubes which were ok Asda tubes which didnt last long Schwalbes which were ok aswell. I ride stock btw but whats the best tube in terms of thickness n life span? Thanks Andy

Hi there a few lads from barton ( near hull) are coming through to scunthorpe on saturday plus theres a few scunthorpe lads out so there is gonna be out 10-15 if all goes to plan and most people come out. Meeting time will be afternoon time to be confirmed! Train station is near by most of the riding spots plus theres a few safe places to leave your cars aswell. More the merrier

Heres mine unfortunately only got a pic of me current one due to losing pics of previous bikes. Dec 2003-July 2005 Onza t-vee my first bike which i got a set of hs33's with gold levers on july 04 as a birthday present. Dec 2004- July 2007 Ddg combat issue ( Still got the frame n onza alex wheels) I thought i would try both stock and mod. July 2005- April 2007 Onza t-mag July 2007- Present Echo pure 06.5 So i am currently riding stock at the mo which i love. I am tempted to upgrade frames for something with higher b.b but its just money :\

Well i was impressed that he has tryed so hard to get him self that far and to of even quit his own job to give him self a lot of practice. For all the haters slagging him off can you do better? I mean would you have the balls to perform in front of that many people with flashing lights and loud music going constantly. I think he has showed himself really well and wants to get trials more well heard. I think he deserves a pat on the back ok... he messed up or rushed things but still he tryed his best. Andy x

Hey there basically after a couple of months effort im proud to say ive got my local trials scene alive woohoo If all goes to plan there will be 6-8 of us out. If anyone is possibly thinking of coming through then please pm me or comment on this topic. Not many people have rode scunthorpe and i suppose it would be a change for people.
