I got mine for £70.00 from usa about 6 years ago and that was brand new with the shipping sent as gift. I think this was the years before manufacturers went downhill in production and quality on products. If you are worried about price even the Tensile Ace headset is pretty much a replica of the king with the sealed bearings and half the price. Also forgot to ask what method are you using to press your headset and crown race? Andy

Move up in the world get a chris king headset.. fully sealed bearings its pretty much press the cups in and go! Had mine 6 years and have never come across any problems as of yet ( Just ensure you put a bit of grease inside the cups to keep it fully sealed in a working order and had the headset in about 5 different frames. Im not a fan of headsets like yours with all the seperate bearings n parts to go with it. Kings seems to be easy and take hassle away.

So we had a good little relaxed ride in hull yesterday was a bit of a downer with weather.. first hour at red brick was fun til it started raining :/ then we hit the warehouse for an hour til it stopped and rode the town centre. I only got a few clips of everyone there was 6 riding in total. Hopefully next time i will make a bigger and better video. I thought id share for the fun of it. Thanks Andy

+1 I too have never come across a hope hub skipping and ive had a mix over the years such as xc,s pro2's, monos and bulbs and they have all been fine. Not to sound a smart arse you could have a stiff link? worn down tooth on either cogs or slack tension.

<br><br>Thinkdougie was running a yellow on smooth rim set up with tar n seemed to work really i think the tar had the main effect n good bite to the brake... well until the day i persuaded him to get a grind ;-) which made it ten times better. but for the smooth set up it was still good for what it was. <br><br>I wouldn't go round the rim with sandpaper. I'd recommend by cleaning your rim really good then use a buffer. Reem is not a word.. F*CK OFF!! I really like these frames was speaking to joe@onza the other week at the LBS where i work n he says that frame has some form of deisgn/manufacturing the same as rockman.. I think this is the 2nd one on here i have seen would be good to see more!

I found out of the Hull lads that on the 2nd of June there is going to be a one day only temporary trials park.. i think it is organised/run through the council or a local community. As for location/obstacles i will find that out soon and update the thread Hopefully if there is going to be a big turn out it would be great to see groups of riders from different towns supporting this cause as if loads show up this could be quite promising and hopefully permanent. So far we have: Hull Guys Scunthorpe Guys Doncaster Guys Would be much appreciated for support from this forum and riders from towns/areas near by to support this really good cause! Thanks Andrew
