MEGA BUMP... Lets get this thread going again! Finally got round to buying more microphone leads and stands so i now finally have chance to record my drum kit. Any degree music students on here? I've just completed my 2nd year in music tech Will get pics of my live room and control up soon...

At work at the moment thought i would come in early to see if we had any.. i am in bad luck and none! The only kmc's we have got is 5s, 7s, 8s and no 6s!!!! Arghhhh And if i wanted a 6 it would not be here til late next week or week after due to bank holiday plus we have just placed all of our orders this past week for stock. So is there any pros and cons with the 5s, 7,s and 8s?? EDIT: Mark mentioned the 5 which we have...looks like im gonna give it a go. Thanks again guys! Cheers Andy

I think i am gonna give the z610 a go. Luckily bike shop i work at we stock them well i hope, am day off today but am back there tomorrow. Thanks to all those contributing there ideas/suggestions/advice EDIT: I know it seems weird for me to be working at a LBS to be asking this question on here but i always like to hear peoples reviews and recommendations. The 30p more to have it in a white box with "Trialtech" stamped on seems worth it with most likely a trialtech sticker like the rest of the range lol

I could agree about people mentioning about the copyright laws on youtube etc. Vimeo is not as popular as youtube on how i see it but if the word gets spread it could increase.

Hmm this is very debatable.. How do people rate half link chains?

The trialtech looks good! Looks very similar to a KMC i have come across. I run a pro2 hub :/ Thanks for your advice.. I have thought about maybe a motorbike chain at the correct pitch to run on single speed cogs.

Looking for some advice and recommendations for a new chain.. Ideally the strongest as possible as i have radfest coming up soon. I have snapped my chain twice this past month 1st time it snapped i rejoined it with some spare links to get me going which lasted around 2 weeks but the chain is over a year old and supposedly it is advised for trials to change a chain every 6 months if i am right? Due to them going under a lot of stress and pressure Also because am still not up to date on modern drive set ups etc.. i prefer using these fossil split links as they seem more secure to the push n snap style links which i am not keen on.

I tan like a Turk... To say I have dark skinned relatives and Great Italian relatives. It's a family thing I can't work out those who manage to get sun burnt in this country.. To Mark W Who says somebody has to have forgiveness? As long as you talk n get on for that one day then where is the harm in that. People who don't talk or engage in a group really do piss me of. I have met many on rides who have been like that n all of a sudden start speaking magic over a keyboard. EDIT: In fact i remember some guy and his brother who fell out with me for a stupid pathetic reason to do with the forum were once sending me shit long messages on facebook which i just switched of to when i saw them. I then noticed they had deleted n blocked which i really did not care less about. Many months later when i found out Corel, Tomala n Rob ( some very good riders from Poland) were coming over for a week n wanted to ride everywhere. I then get 2 friend requests and a massive long private message from each one saying how sorry they was n it was out of order for them n asked if they could come along on the rides and to be friends again... What da fuq??? Am telling you man there is some right morons about!
