Impact damage. Im gonna say no more. Same as when you curb your alloy wheels on a car. Yes it may hold a great finish but durability wise i would not rate it. Besides you cant expect every paint job/finish in the world to be virtually bomb proof. it will soon scuff/scratch/chip etcc... Whether its a bike frame, cars

Powder coating can come off in trials especially with impact damage which you get in trials a lot. Bad move really. Your best of either sand blasting or as ogre says spraying. Plus how many trials frames come from factory powder coated now? Not really many i suppose?

Don't go powder coating for trials frames. Its doggerz! Made that mistake with one of my old frames.

Got a private plate of my amazing caring parents for my 21st. Just got the confirmation certificate, new mot and tax disc today and got some plates up tonight. ( £35 for a set with 3d font from Halfords quite expensive i thought it was the only option i had due to them being open til 8 and i work days so i find it hard to get to other local places. But yeah my name is Andy.. I was hoping to get a plate like this with all 4's but turns out they was sold out but i am mega happy it is 6's as it still resembles my name slightly. Best present ever will look sick on me next car which will hopefully be a audi or bmw

Nice work Josh. I have a question to ask. I have just got some new forks ( Neon training disc) But every so often i am so tempted to go back to front hs33. Could you make some 4 bolt mount for them forks? If you could do it, it may be something i may be interested with you in future. Really liking the craftmanship you do into making frames and repairing them. Keep it up! Also what does the "Jaf" stand for? Cheers Andy

After being a v8 owner for many years and going to tr platform pedals there is a big difference. In terms of shape of the body so it allows more grip and better positioning of the feet and the lightness. The TR pedals do seem to be worth it and i would advise them. Only minor is when i saw Boris Pachevils vid 7.. Look below The pedal actually comes of just leaving the axel and he still carries on riding! Crazyyy. Thats why i checked the inside bearings and put threadlock on the pedal bolt.

Saw them at radfest on the trialsaddict stall next to a set of TR bars it reminded me of the old original zoo bars and trialtech sports. Would be interesting to see how they compare to TRs as i currently run them.

Tr bars are boss. Yeah i cracked the white forks which was a good exscuse to get some black ones and the stem i got of yorkshire neil for a tenner boom! Thought id give try-alls a go for radfest etc. Red headset? Reason why its blue is because it is a kmc 510 which is rated as a very heavy duty/strong chain n it was the last one in the shop. I kind of miss the feel of short low b.b bikes. I keep looking at inspired hex's god knows why i think i am losing the plot lol

Was clearing my draws out today to find a polaroid picture of my first ever stock trials bike DDG Combat Issue this is from late 2004( When magura 05's had just been released) Way before inspired was even around then ;-) I loved this bike sadly do not have it but would kill to have something similar. Also possibly the best rear tyre ever Michelin Hot S's? And below my bike currently as it stands look at the differences in components and geo etc..

Welcome to the forum. Where you get people the likes of Mark W or Aener who will speak there mind behind a keyboard but if you ever see them in person they just seem to be very shy,quiet etc..
