  1. No because its the last hampshire comp at Hut Hill and you should be going to that instead
  2. When watching the video yesterday, it looks like the bit flying off is the peak of his helmet.
  3. Is that while wearing gold chains, a bandana and threatening to "bust a cap in their ass"? I had a similar experience when I bought Half Life 2. Got it from Sainsburys and went to register, said it was already registered. I had to get in contact with the company, and provide a photograph of the CD and case with the serial number clearly visable, proof of purchase and ID, then they unlocked the serial number for me however it took a good few weeks for them to do it.
  4. I've heard some reports of people actually getting what they ordered / getting stuff in general, however I still wouldn't trust Trials-uk as far as I could throw them.
  5. It's a nice frame to ride, light and chuckable. The issue with the frame is running non-onza parts. If you have a rear hub other than an onza one, things are very tight in terms of space. If you're running a 128mm BB with a front freewheel, the chain rubs on the seat stay. If you're running something like a rockman rear hub and want to use a rear disc, there's absolutely no space and the rotor rubs against the dropout on one side and the sprocket / chain (unless you run it backwards) rubs against the other side. At the moment I'm running a Profile rear hub with Trialtech cranks (using a bashring and a fixed cog spaced as much as I can) and a 118mm BB and my chain still rubs on the seat stay, and my rotor is still pretty damn close to the frame.
  6. As opposed to those other airshows that you pay £20-£30 to get in, walk round in a muddy field and watch a lancaster fly over?
  7. Wait.... you own an iPad? This is news to me, I don't think I've ever read that in any posts you've made on this forum...
  8. Switch boxes are a much better idea. I used a basic Technik one from Sainsburys for about £10 and it was perfect for what I needed it to do.
  9. Rental wise, you can find some cheap-ish kinda stuff depending on where you go. If you're looking at more Bournemouth way, you'll find plenty of rental accomodation close to the Uni at a decent price, but do tend to go pretty quickly. When I was looking at renting, £500-600 a month was pretty average for a 1 bed flat close to Bournemouth / Poole town.
  10. Dave M has confirmed he is also in.
  11. If ever there was another topic more worthy...
  12. Nice of you to turn up It was Hannah organising the ride anyway, not me.
  13. We'll be there at 11:10. Silly train times!
  14. Think you spelt mafia wrong?
  15. And the forks and wheel don't have any disc mounts
  16. Actually 90% of it was made from old parts lying around in my garage (yes I'm a hoarder, still got far too much clogging up the garage). The rest we got dirt cheap from forum members / friends.
  17. Oh yeah well there will be some exceptions
  18. Judging by the crator of a dent in the downtube, I think most cheaper alternatives may struggle in those circumstances.
  19. Glad you like it Now get out there and ride it like a beast and get better than me
  20. This is true. I'm guessing you chain it up at night to stop it blowing away?
