well heres a quick update so far, after todays mad moment!! Spots, "go faster" stripes, Mountney Steering wheel, new 2.5" side exit exhaust. 12" Weller deep dish alloys to come..... Official member of the Bournemouth Mini Club. I should have this beast on the road in a week or so, so hopefully will be attending some hampshires in it. You going to the Beaulieu Mini day Nick? We could meet up half way and go in a little convoy of minis.

20 mins to fix....!!! It will take me another 3 weeks or so to get mine going, costing well over 300 quid in parts (obviously not all of them essential :S)

If you cant get hold of him dude, give me a shout, as I know him (local rider)

Found it in Adtrader, advertised for £650, with a new MOT, but as it failed the MOT just after the ad was placed, the guy said we could have it for £200. We decided even with all the work it needed, it was worth it, so bought it

Yea I found Norwich Union to be the cheapest too. I use them for both my car and motorbike insurance.

I got one of the first sets as steve asked me to test them, and I had the exact same problem with them. They had no lock or hold to them, and I couldnt even make it up stuff that I could do easily before. From what steve tells me, quite a lot of people have said similar things about the locking performance of them.

Yea I didnt realy have the motivation to do it really. It will probably be the last one I make so.

I dunno. I think it was some little retarded kid from salisbury. Rides with tic. Cant remember his name
-
Yes tic thank you for reminding me  I'm absolutely gutted!!! I would love to see that frame again

It says the bottles already contain the apples, and there is enough space to fit in another one.... However, you cant fit an apple through a bottle neck, so you cant put any apples in the bottles. and yes I am very sad that I sat and thought about that for ages!

got all the way through it, and got to the 2nd challenge of "the outskirts" Some of them are bloody hard!!!!! Edit - done then all ;)

Middleburn do not warrenty the Pedal threads, or the tapers. I tried that, and basically, they said no. Had to fight very hard to get the cheap crash replacement.

Music Match Jukebox Is an excellent program, I've used it for a while now, and love it

I payed £95 for it, from Wades Cycles at the Bikeshow. They were the only shop there, selling them, and 205 was all they had left. I think the standard Juicy 7 is perfectly acceptable for anyone, or for a bit extra, maybe the Downhill 180 version. In comparison to my marta, this wins hands down. The marta was an ace brake, extremely light and powerful, but it lacked that overall hold. Frontwheel/backwheel switches were impossible as the brake would just let go, but with the Juicy, not a problem. As I said, the modulation is excellent with it, so you can get as much power from it as you like, and with the load of different adjusting screws and dials, you can get a Hydro disk to feel exactly how you want, which is the reason I bought it. All the people who have ridden my bike since, have all said how amazed they were with the brake, so I reccomend it to everyone as a new alternative to the popular brakes out there.

Wondered what the frame was when I saw your video. Makes a change from the Koxx or the Pitbull shaped frames, and I have to say, looks very nice.
-
Ok, Ive just switched disks this week. Went from a 160 Marta, to a 205 " Avid Juicy 7 and its one of the best disks ive used. I wouldnt reccomend going for the 205, as, quite frankly its overkill (a 160-180 is fine), but, it is an extremely good brake. Its a tad more expensive than some disks out there, but you have the added feature of a TPA, which does allow you to set the brake up exactly how you want it. The lever feel is solid, and feels very robust, unlike some of the plastic tastic magura disks. There is shed loads of modulation all through the lever, and then all of a sudden, you go over the bars. Its not the lightest in the world, and not the cheapest, but I think it is one of the best all rounder brakes out there at the moment. It has that solid on/off feel, but with modulation all thrown into one. Sorry to add more choices to your list, but as far as Im aware, Im the only person here with a Juicy 7, so just thought I would let you know about them Andy

Ah I knew I forgot to add something into that speech. The comp will be on at the same time as a Sk8 Fest and summer Fete, which is making my ground rental a lot lower. So there will be burger vans, ice cream vans and the works there, so dont worry about grub (Y)

Ok, I have been granted permission to do my comp, so what I want from you guys, is suggestions about anything. I want to know: What kind of obstacles you want How you would like the sections set up How many sections/laps What kind of routes/difficulty Would you like a raffle with prizes Would you like a fun speed trials event in the evening I have ideas myself, but Im doing this comp for you lot, so im going to let you call the shots. One thing I would like your discussion on, is time limit. Would you prefer a set 2 mins per section, or mototrials style, set time limit to finish the entire lot, with your time recorded after each section, 1 dab added for every 30 seconds you go over the set time? The general details so far are: Will be in West moors, for those of you who went to the demo, its in the same place, except now I have the entire field to play with. It will be either the 7th or the 21st August, to fit around comp calendars. Will start at 10, try and finish the comp by 4, and then do the speed trials (if we do that) at 5. Tarty bikes will also be there selling top quality gear, possibly with the Onza prototypes on display for you to see as well. Unfortunately, its not near a station like I originally hoped for, but I am trying to organise a few cars and a trailor, to transport anyone who is coming by train, but if you can come by car, it would be easier. Entry fee will be somewhere in the region of £10, which covers 2 things: The rental of the land, the rest goes in the pot, which is being donated towards DJs memorial. All money raised, other than the costs of land/trophies/obstacles ect is going to DJ, so this isnt a money making scheme for me. If there are any budding artists out there, Im after section design. The main thing Im after, is to make the section all out of one certain object, eg: Spool section, or tractor tyre section. This will make it easier for us lot to set it up the day before. Thats pretty much it for now, but if you have any suggestions about anything, please leave them here, or talk to me on MSN. Also any volunteers to come along the day before and help put it all together wud be greatly appreciated, and rewarded with a pint down the local pub (age requirements apply :- ) anyway thats enough rambling from me!! Andy Edit - forgot to mention, Im in need of some observers, so if anyone is interested, let me know

Nice one scotty. Glad to see some clips from the Burly round in there as well.

I dont really know how it snapped!! I just ragged it up a massive bank, and half way up, the bike seemed to loose all power and I slipped back down. Looked and saw the chain, sheered in half on the floor

My old 2001 Sherco 290 Lovely bike that was. Edit - as you can see, the chain wasnt very strong "
