  1. Awesome. I remember Sitrials from back in the day. Still got all the old videos from when I first started trials. Even remember you hosting a video of Matt Howard that I made (my first ever video)
  2. The little clubby is only a standard 1098 at the moment, soon to have a stage one kit fitted and a K&N Filter You will see the clubman down at the Mini World Weekend for sure!!
  3. Ahh the joy of having your entire audio set-up given for free (Y) Pioneer HU worth £295 (all be it a good few years old), Alpine 13s up front, JBL 6x9s in the back. Sounds crap but then I didnt pay a thing for any of it hehe
  4. So whats Freds excuse then? He went from an "ok" car to getting something a whole lot worse.....
  5. Yea Rich, my ES3 was pretty short. 995 sounds about right actually. Think Ticcys was the same.
  6. Yea, I thought I would give people plenty of notice, to get time off work if needed, or to arrange a way of getting there. Would be great to see as many of you guys there as possible (Y)
  7. Adtrader.co.uk Look on there, compressors go for peanuts. We sold ours just before we moved, only got about 20 quid for it, and it was a damn expensive piece of kit when we first bought it.
  8. Then you can get it down to Mini World Show in Esher on the 30/31 July!!
  9. I say go for it, bargains like that dont come around every day! My Clubby estate was £200, and that was with worse rust than that, no MOT, needed brake lines re-doing, CV gator replacing, loads of electrical work and new tyres all round. Still glad I bought it, as after some TLC, its an awesome beast.
  10. Ok, with everything worked out, I can now give you some final details... The competition will be on Sunday August 21st at Fryers Feild, West Moors. Post Code BH22 0LH for all you mapquest users. ALL PROCEEDS ARE GOING TOWARDS DJs MEMORIAL GARDEN. This is why entry is slightly steeper, at £10. Can you PLEASE if possible pay in ADVANCE, as these things take money to organise. If you are intending on coming, can you please LEAVE YOUR NAME here, so I can keep track of numbers. Also, anyone willing to come down a day early to help set-up or observe will be greatly appreciated and will take a massive weight off my shoulders :- The competition will start at 10:00am, so If you can arrive at least 30 mins prior to that, to "sign on" to avoid any messy-ness, and will allow us to start on time, to be able to fit everything in. If 24"ers want to enter, please circle the 26" option on the entry form below. 9 Sections, of 2 laps, all on man made sections featuring: Skips cars oil drums pallettes sleepers spools and anything else they will give us Standard rules, 2 minutes per section. This should keep thngs flowing better than my original idea of an overall time limit. Once everyone has finished the competition, the sections will be opened for general piss about, while the speed trials is set up. The speed trials is OPTIONAL, but please outline what route you would like to enter in advance. There is also a chance for all you street riders to do a demo mid point on the Skate park, and show off your silky skills to the public on there as well. Theres no need to apply for that, just turn up and session at the designated time. There will be plenty of catering, soft drinks ect, plus theres a couple of pubs in the area as well for the evening (over 18s only thought) There will be a raffle, at £1 a strip, with assorted prizes donated, such as T-shirts, chains, pedals, brake pads, and maybe even some bars... Any companies wanting to donate for this cause, please contact me through either email, or PMs. ENTRY FORM Either print and psot, or scan in and email to the addresses shown. Think thats about it, hope I havent forgotten anything. Any other questions, feel free to ask, and many many thanks in advance for all your support in this. Andy
  11. Rich Pearson - his profile give him a PM and Im sure he can hook you up (N)
  12. I believe Rich Pearson made a couple. Worth checking with him about some.
  13. I had a marta on the rear of my 26", and it was amazing. It didnt really slip at all. If I had a 20" with a disk mount, I would easily run a Marta on the rear again (or an Avid Juicy 7 as miy front ones impressing me loads) as I prefer them to HS33s, especially in the wet.
  14. Its in a small village called West Moors, which is roughly 10 miles noth-ish of Poole. Any help setting up will be greatly appreciated :( For a mapquest map, use the post code BH22 0LH as thats roughly where it is.
  15. Cheers Steve that would be awesome!! I will need as much help as possible setting up, and if people are coming a fair distance, im sure some can crash at my place, and I'll buy you a pint afterwards to say thanks (Y) Im going to companies in the next few days to sort out the kit. We are hoping to have 6-7 companies give stuff for each section, so each one will be sponsored by a different company (Travis Perkins, Fern Demolition, ect) Thanks Wally, some pads would be awesome. I'll talk to you on MSN about it in the next few days  Also, as there isnt a train station for 10 miles, if there are a small handful of people who can only travel by train, I will organize a lift to and from the station, but I will need to know numbers well in advance to know how many cars I need. The cost of the tickets are still being debated, but I will need to ask for money in advance, sent with the entry form. Lack of financial backing is difficult to get stuff organised, so the sooner people can devote and send money, the easier it will be :- Also, Tarty, I will talk to you more about it on MSN, but are you still good for setting up a stand? Theres a small fee for the land, but I shouldnt think it would be too great. I can supply a gazebo if you need one as well. as I say, I will get you on MSN at some point and get better details. Andy
  16. Thanks Dave (Y) All the money, aside from the £500 is going towards DJ's Flower garden memorial, not into my pocket or anything. All trophies/obstacle rental/ect is coming out of my own pocket, so please do your little bit :D Also, Sue, I know its quite a treck down here, but it would be great if you could come along, and hope fully we can present you with a big novelty cheque or something near the end of the day. I'll talk to you on msn about it :D
  17. Ok, have been given to go ahead to do the comp, which will be on the 21st August in Fryers Field, West Moors. Those of you who attended the demo will know where that is. Just need to know some things from you guys: How much you are willing to pay - (poll) How many sections/laps you would like Is just 2 routes ok (Blue & Red) or would u like a white as well Im also looking towards companies to maybe display advertising in return for some items to raffle off, to make as much possible money for the DJ memorial fund. I also need to know provisional numbers as well, as I need to raise £500 for the rental of the land/insurance thanks a lot guys Andy
  18. Aiming to arrive at about 12:30 ish, as I have my cars MOT in the morning. Hopefully it will pass, and maybe I can arrive in style :)" if not, then boring old mondeo it will be
  19. ok, Im grinding my rim today anyway, so I will probably just cut the thing off.
  20. This happened yesterday, so I need to replace it. Whats the easiest way to get them off? I know this has been posted before, but I couldnt find anything when I searched thanks Andy
  21. Thats what happened with my ES3. It didnt take the tab off, it stressed the entire back end, and the whole rear triangle came away
  22. Hell yea!!! Spent most days out there swearing at it, when nothing comes apart, but at the end of the day, I dont care!!! They've got more character that almost any car on the road!
  23. Before, I would be able to agree with you, seeing as I used to drive a Mondeo estate. Not exactly sporty " But now I am guilty of the same crime.... Oh well, still only an 1098cc so its not going to win any drag races or anything...
