  1. Yea Tic said to me that Matt had moved his to the same day as mine. He knew when mine was, and even said he would attend my comp. Theres no way of me being able to change the dates of mine, as its not just the trials comp. My bit is only part of the whole day. Theres a skate comp, village fair, all sorts. The problem I have is I need over 50 people to even attempt to fund this event, as its costing me £500, so without at least 50 people, it cant go ahead
  2. Absolutely: Blue 26": Fred Judd Stephen Morris Alex Wright Dave Kerley Stephen Maultby Chris Mansbridge Blue 20": John Hartford Mitch Vilder Tim Rodriguez Jon Goulding David Pinney Red 26": Lee McCaw Brenden Patterson Daniel Jones Nick Manning Dave Marshall James Porter Red 20": None
  3. Speed trials is a seperate dedicated course, with a car, tyres, oil drums, and all sorts in both lanes. Can I please stress to everyone, that this event is costing ME 500 quid to do, so I need more than 50 riders taking part so i dont loose any money. Ideally I want to actually donate some money as well, so please please if you can make the journey, come along. It will be a fantastic day with all sorts going on, and you will be helping a great cause. thanks
  4. I can get the blue trophies cheaper than that, but the red ones are a lot more, so I cant really afford to get 6 red ones, therefore combined Red route. Plus im expecting more blue route riders than red so it makes it even more cost effective
  5. I had 10 lessons, 2 of those were 2 hour ones. I had already passed my motorbike test before hand, so I knew what to expect, and also had 2 years of road experience under my belt as well on bikes.

  7. There are only 4 weeks left until the competition, so just a gentle reminder to get your entry forms in. Money can still be paid on the day, but I cant accept any entries sent after the 18the August. You may think 4 weeks is a long time, but for the people organising all this, 4 weeks is not long enough, so please dont slow things down by leaving it until the last minute. Campsites can be arranged and everything if neccessary, so please if you can make the journey, every last person will make a difference to the money raised, so that this event can be a success. Thanks a lot Andy
  8. This is what you will be competing for..... Blue route - Divided into 2 categories 20" and 26" 1st: 10.5" Blue/Silver Trophy 2nd: 9" Blue/Silver Trophy 3rd: 8" Blue/Silver Trophy Red Route - 20" and 26" combined 1st: 12.25" Red/Gold Trophy 2nd: 10.5" Red/Gold Trophy 3rd: 9" Red/Gold Trophy All engraved with eg: "NBR 2005 Expert Winner" (obviously depending on what place and route you do)
  9. Sam, we will have to meet up for a ride one day and you can try my Juicy 7. Everyone so far whos used it, has absolutely loved it. Andy
  10. Lee, I know what you mean. I had a similar time a few months back, just couldnt get motivation, and didnt enjoy riding. As a result of that, I ended up with a mod (Y) and havent stopped smiling since. Love it again now, and Ive started progressing faster than ever. Also, next week sometime, you up for a ride in Worthing? give us a shout on MSN about it
  11. The Giro E2 is an amazing Helmet. So light, comfy, and doesnt make your head cook in the hot weather, plus it looks awesome. I have had mine for about 2 years, and love it. Worth the money if you are prepared to pay that much.
  12. Have to admit, we didnt know it was used on the Trials Works site. The logo wasnt designed by a rider, but by a graphic student at Bournemouth college. Very swish looking site Steve, even though I did see it while it was in production  Oh and thanks for the Tees and Pads Steve, they are greatly appreciated :P Andy
  13. Nice one  Dont forget to actually send me the forms as well as posting here :D I need official records of everyone coming, and so far, I have had a pathetic 3 :P Please send them in, as I need an estimated number of people attending, and I cant run a comp with a grand total of 3 riders. Thanks Andy
  14. I have a beta version of Longhorn, and it is very good, but nothing to shout home about. Theres no real radical improvements over the Standard XP pro, but we will see when its actually released
  15. Oh absolutely!!! red/orange is where its at these days :)
  16. Until Nadine gets hers sorted, heres one to tide you over Not exactly a 221, but meh you get the general idea
  17. Yea, if you are worried about spacing, it will be fine as the Echo rim is narrower than the Monty one. I have an Echo rim in the back of my Monty, but its a 220, not a 221, and it is fine.
  18. We have just heard from my dad, as hes in London today, so hes ok thank god. Its proper scary to think that we really arent safe no matter where we are!!
  19. I'll be going to comp, riding my new frame hopefully :S
  20. Entry forms will be available at the Nationals round in Devon tomorrow, so either speak at the "main desk" or come and find me and I can sort you out with a form.
  21. I couldn't fault my Sherco, it was an awesome machine. Mine was a 2002 or a 2003 model I think, cant really remember. Have ridden a Montessa, and have to say, I fell in love with it. It was extremely good, and a lot better than my Sherco, but just felt that little bit heavier to ride than the Sherco. May have just been me but meh. As everyone has said, dont get a Gasgas Pro, they are really are appauling. I would go for either a Montessa or a Sherco as my 2 main choices.
  22. Go with the Poole thought hehe Tic knows Pooles truely awesome >_<
  23. Anyone have Stephens mobile number? If you could PM me it that would be great >_< Andy
