  1. Good lord!! Going back to the old skool then Chris :( I think for this, a B&W Ilford HP5, in the Nikon F3 with motordrive attatchment will be perfect. Cant handle all this digital malarky!!
  2. Im doing some part time apprentice work with a little company, so Im having a bit of fun with some of their D-SLRs and video cameras.
  3. Sounds good, Im in. Gives me a chance to have a better play with the new Nikon DX2

No 10 is the one where he drops off the big truck he might mean "May19", fairly short video but its the only one I can think he means
  7. Its very very hard to fail a CBT. I know one person who fell off and passed, one who basically ran a red light and passed. I think a geniune mistake is fine and you pass, but driving like an arse is obviously going to get you a fail.
  8. Yea was a spur of the moment thing. Mike was the only one of us not to get a pinch haha, and its a long walk back to freds (Y) I still won though having dented my rim TWICE (Y)
  9. That was Fred, and on a curtis (but now you mention it, he does look a lot like Hobbs (Y) )
  10. ahh cheers Ticcy. Been out all morning so havent had a chance to make the topic. The rider on the Onza Limey is Simon Bambrough and I dont know the guy on the Team. The tune is Atreyu - Right Side of the Bed enjoy
  11. Isnt everyones? Why have an Xbox when you could have a SNES, why have a DVD when you could have a BetaMax, why have an LCD TV when you could have a black and white CRT, why have a 10 megapixel digital camera when you could have a disposable 35mm? I think everyones, including yours are limited by the quality of a picture
  12. Thats insane!! all the more reason for me to get that Sony cam afterall. All the fine details are brilliant.
  13. Ex Hellfrauds employee - Ferndown 987 also worked for a bit in Bike Lab in Poole
  14. fantabulous ;) I'll pm you my mobile number, so let me know if any details change ect
  15. it all depends on the weather really, but I reckon 11am outside the station. I will reply in here later on as to whether im 100% to go or not ;)
  16. Cheers ticcy ;) scratch that bit, actually I am going on Sunday ;)
  17. Bit short notice, but a couple of us are heading up to Southampton tomorrow. Just seeing if anyone else is up for a bit of a ride, and show us some spots (seeing as I have only ridden there once) Aiming to be at the station for about 11. Also, if there is anyone who knows of somewhere free to park, that would be awesome ;) Andy
  18. Good thread Jonny, as Im in the same boat. I think the HD Cams for web use, is overkill, as you will never really benefit from the amazing quality. For professional film making though, I think go for it. As soon as I have the dosh, the Sony HVR A1E will be mine (and judging from the £1700 you quoted, you're thinking the same as me) its an expensive gamble, and depends on what you plan to do, but I think eventually, it will be worth it.
  19. Yea basically each Rider is given a number, like in Marathons as stated. This is just easier to shout out instead of yelling names. The reason there are some just numbers and no names, is because the Sheet that told me what number went with what rider went missing. I had an old sheet that told me some, but not all, which is why only some have names next to them as well. The red route is Expert, so ride a harder course than Blue route, then Blue route was divided between 26" and 20" as there were more blue riders than red. This made finding winners of each section easier.
  20. coffee.... urgh. Cup'a tea for me Guvna!! And a bacon butty too ....... mmmmmmm Acceptance is the first stage to recovery haha :P
  21. Well, the column that says score, is the riders score The column that says Number, is the riders number and the column that says Rider, is the riders name :P
  22. Right, having had some spare time at last, the results are done. The only problem is....the sheet with rider Number/Name has gone mission, so I dont know 100% who goes with what number. If people can leave their number in this thread, then I can update the results so people can get a more accurate reading of their position.
  23. Used to ride MTX many moons ago. Started life on a CR125, then moved to the KTM EXC 250. Had to give it up when i broke my knee and have never been able to cope with the strain since.
  24. Kool Stop do red pads for Martas. They work a considerable amount better than the standard pads, but then the standards arent exactly rubbish. If you want some, you can get them from www.wiggle.co.uk
  25. Ahh but Nick, you only NEARLY lost it! I had to aquire new pants after actually spinning across the entire track, on the same corner. Never been so scared in my entire life haha
