  1. I will more than likely be at the skate park tomorrow morning so pop over and say hi, I will be on a Black Identiti with white SAS wheels
  2. You want to watch out putting Twin crown forks on a trailstar. The frame was designed around a 100-130mm fork. A twin crown fork around the 200mm mark would more than likely rip the headtube off. The headtube area isnt designed in a way to support than kind of stress and force.
  3. Maybe theres something hes not telling us! Oh and Adam, there better not be a next time...!!
  4. So thats who it was.....!! I wondered who it was phoning me at 1:30, I thought it was the mrs or something. You woke me up, but you hung up before I got to my phone!
  5. As far as im aware, Dave was the only person to actually clean it properly, first time. Ashton ect had multiple goes aparently. Dont know if this is 100% true though?
  6. Holy crap batman!! How the hell does he even get on that bike, let alone ride it? Thats one hell of a BB rise!!
  7. It will be housed somewhere between the head and the top hose of the radiator. If you follow the top hose back towards the engine, it "should" be encased by the cylinder head. Should be fairly obvious where it is. Dont quote me on this, but its how I found the thermostat on my Previa.
  8. As has been said, check for mayonaise-type substance around the oil filer cap, this is a strong sign of the head gaskets gone. Also, check to see if there is any water coming out of the exhaust pipe when the engine is revved. If there is, this is due to the water escaping through the exhaust valves, again suggesting either the head gasket or a cracked block. Also check your thermostat is opening properly, and if in doubt, take it out and see if that solves the water problem. It may be that its not opening and just boiling the water up. Hope you get it fixed Andy
  9. shhh, quiet you, I almost sounded intelligent for a second then. Ok so maybe I didnt read that bit.... quick, lets hope no one notices...
  10. Theres also a lit of Misinterpretation between the words "young drivers" and "inexperienced drivers". Its clearly obvious that all "young" drivers are going to be inexperienced as they have only just passed, but wheres the statistic that shows "inexperienced" drivers accident ratio? Who is to say that a 45 year old who has just passed thier test, wont go out the next day and have a crash? Chances are equally as high, due to the fact they are "inexperienced", but of course they wont have a crash, because they arent 17-25? If the accident ratio is so high for 17-25 year olds, why dont be just make the legal age limit 25? There we go, the statistic is sorted...
  11. I wonder who the BBC get to do their mathematics.... "Government figures show that one-third of road deaths involve a car driven by a person aged between 17 and 25" So theres then the 3rd of accidents caused by the people aged between 25 and 40, and a 3rd of accidents caused by people aged 40+. Not exactly an astonishing ratio is it?? "In 1992, there were 12.6 deaths on the road for every 100,000 motorists aged 17 to 20. By 2005, the figure had risen to 19.2." But they havent taken into account the rise in population between 1992 and 2005, which is probably somewhat equal to the rise in accidents?
  12. Ding Ding Ding, spot on! If people arent allowed to take passengers, its going to mean a lot more people will drive to a pub, drink, and drive home, because their mate who doesnt drink, cant take them home. I would far rather see a bhp limit for 1-2 years, like on motorcycle tests. That would make far more of a difference as it will stop daddys boy going out in his new Subaru that daddy paid for, and wrapping it round a tree when he runs out of talent
  13. my brother has the one on the right, 500mm fixed link to buy one, if your pockets are deep enough... here
  14. just build one up, will work out better value for money buying everything seperate, as I may be able to do you some offers on certain bits and bobs.
  15. Its where I have been doing so many bar spins, the hose has kind of just stayed that way. Means its out of the way when you spin the bars so at least it has some useage haha
  16. They will be soon Dave. Dont worry I have my ear to the ground, so will have confirmation as to when they are in.
  17. Errm, Ive had it a day, so I cant say anything on lifespan or build quality just yet, BUT from the wee ride Ive had today on it, once you get your head around not pedaling back, and just controling your body position, I couldnt wipe the smile off my face! Its all a mental thing, so it takes a while to get out of the usual routine, but once you do, its really good fun! I can give you a better review in a few months when Ive ridden it more, and given it a good going over!
  18. I have mine set on a medium slack, and its about 1/6th of a pedal rotation before it engages, but it enables it to roll back almost instantly
  19. I know its not a trials bike bla bla bla, but I dont care... so here is my Identiti, with Dirt Jam forks (they are being replaced soon), Halo SAS with a geisha freecoaster rear hub, Shimano Saint cranks, Hope mono mini rear brake, and Truvativ Hussefelt bar and stem. Hope you like. Im still getting used to the freecoaster though, feels strange at first.

Thems be fighting words rich! I will be the judge for this battle, seeing as I no longer ride trials, I wont be biased towards one specific bike (however Dave is a lot bigger than me...). Let the battle commense!!
  21. Maybe one day these silly bike companies will stop using this pathetic thing called metal, and start using things with indestructable properties, especially for you guys hehe
