  1. You money will be held in your paypal account. If you want to transfer it back to your bank account, you need to select "withdraw" and select "transfer to bank account" It will take roughly 5-7 days for it to be processed and appear back in your account.
  2. The best people to talk to are the guys from Creative Video Productions. They are the UKs (maybe even the worlds) biggest camera and production compnay and if theres something they dont know, its not worth knowing. You can give them a ring on 01572 854222 or visit www.creativevideo.co.uk and drop them an email. Even if they dont stock or sell what you are after in your price range, they can offer an immense amount of advice, which can be far more relaible than forum reviews ect. You can even book a day in their workshop, and they will let you play around with cameras to get a proper hands on experience before you shell out all your hard earned pennies on something you may not need. I'll never buy camera stuff from anywhere else now.
  3. Its weird, only about 2 of the vids seem to work for me, the rest dont
  4. Yea Rich, theres some classics in there that I had totally forgotten about. I remember I used to watch Coustellier Rough cut every time before I went riding for inspiration! Good topic
  5. What have you done to her.... Only joking Dave, looks HOT!! Ride today!
  6. To all the people that say they have a laugh riding TGS or just S, can you HONESTLY say to me that you go out for 3 hours, all you do is sidehops, and you come home saying "Yea, that was a good ride, I really enjoyed myself today". I dont think you do. Ive been on rides watching people, and all they do are sidehops. If they cant make it, they get soooooo pissy, throw thier bike and go off in a sulk because they couldn't land 50" with maximum tuck. Ive never seen a so called "circus rider" do that. At the end of the day, you ride how you want. I honestly couldn't give a crap if all you want to do it be the best at your so called 's ids', it's your life, but dont expect massive respect from others because you landed a "mint tuck". This is why we are the laughing stock of the cycling world. Oh and whoever said that we are just old people who should have given up years ago, oh my god I'm going to bite my tongue here, and refrain from some kind of "your mamma" reply. You, my friend, need to open your eyes to the big wide world that lives just outside your bedroom window. All you have to do is open those curtains, and oh gosh look... theres actually more to life than sidehops!! Ive been riding for 10 years, maybe I should give up and take up knitting, because I cant 's id' 50" with my shorts round my ankles or do a monster drop gap thats going to destroy my rim at any given moment.
  7. In the voice of comic book guy... "Best video.... EVER" You truely are the man Rowan. Thats going on the classics folder!
  8. I dont think my parents have ever stopped me riding trials. They've seen me ride a demo once, which was the first time they've ever really taken an interest in what I do. They just know I ride funny bikes with no seat. My dad used to come to a few comps and stuff, but overal, they just let me get on with it. They do like watching the videos and photo I do. They are just happy that I'm out having exercise and enjoying myself.
  9. Ahh thats why it looked odd. My bad, ignore me...
  10. Oh I thought with sealed cartridge bearings, you couldn't actually see the individual bearings themselves, and were fully contained. Maybe I'm thinking of something else...
  11. I thought King headsets used sealed cartridge bearings??
  12. You could just incorporate sliding dropouts like the Identitis come with, and have 4 bolt mounts top and bottom, for 20" and 26" sizes
  13. These may not be the best pedals I agree, but the 4-Jeri DX copys have cast studs rather than replaceable pins, and at £10, you can afford to get a few pairs when they wear down. 4-Jeri DX copys
  14. I'll have a look round some sites, you can tell I'm bored at work. If not, I will look see what pedals mine are when I get home, might give some clue as to where to get them. Best place to try first I would say, would be Billys.
  15. Have a look round some BMX shops. You can get platform pedals with studs mouled into them, so theres no hasstle with pins coming out. I run them on my BMX and they are awesome.
  16. Didnt a while back, someone build up an Adamant stock frame as a mod, as they couldn't afford a new frame? Technically speaking, it would be possible, but it would be quite a short wheelbase stock or a long wheelbase mod. You could incorporate an adjustable head angle like the Scott frames. Be quite an interesting idea I think.
  17. Does your TV have a VGA out? If so I have a USB device that can convert your TV into a secondary monitor. Got it from Amazon a while ago, but my new GFX card has twin DVi ports, so I dont need it any more. Let me know if you want it.
  18. I ran doubled up backings years ago when I was running a D521 in the back of my Echo Pure. Worked fine and never had any problems with it, and never heard of any others having problems. Obviously its not the greatest or most perminent fix in the world, but as a tempory solution until you can get new pads or a wider rim. All you need to do is get some old pads and get the material off. Then screw the backing onto the back of your existing pads, with one screw either side. Make sure you get some screws that arent too long, otherwise as the pad material wears down, you may end up with the tip of the screw extruding the surface. Theres some pics floating around here somewhere, I will have a browse round my pc when I get home for you if you like.
  19. Hmm still not sure about the drop stays. Maybe I'd think differently of it if I saw it in the flesh, but for the moment I'm not too keen. You'll have to bring it out to Poole one day Nath, and I can make a proper decision about it. You should have sprayed it orange to match your Ozonys!! It would be like a mini-me-bike. Enjoy it anyway Nath.
  20. I thought Scott was there? Did he not ride/do well? All sounds a bit weird. I was unaware of any rules against 3/4's ect. Seems a bit stupid to me. As said, Im sure shinpads would be safter than some lycra jumpsuit
  21. One random one I used to use years ago, was on rear disc brakes. I used to pour neat ribena over the rotor and leave it to dry/set for a few mins. Used to work amazingly well and lasted ages.
  22. I wouldn't do that if I were you. When stuff sells on ebay, you pay a percentage of the final sold fee. Dont think you want to be paying ebay like 5% of that price
  23. Damn, I was unaware of any frame using postmount rear. I've been doing some research into postmount rear mounting system for some time now, looks like Ive been beaten to it. Going by what I have worked out, it should be a lot stronger than an IS mount.
  24. Engine: Petrol Size: 2.0 injection Model: Citroen Synergie Driving Conditions: Town/motorway Combined MPG: 25ish Rated MPG (manufacture) : 30-35 Comments: Car weights in excess of 2.5 tonnes, and I dont drive it lightly... could probably get more out of it, but oh well
