  1. Crikey Scott!! Thats definitely "blinging". The frame looks absolutely fantastic, one of the nicest frames in terms of aesthetics. Im not sure if I'm entirely sold on the colour, but I think I want me a mod version of that puppy...
  2. Might make the trip down if it stays dry, I'll even bring the camera. I'll try and bring Marshall with me as well
  3. Good call, makes me feel less guilty about not going. Dave do you want to ride somewhere else if it is dry sunday?
  4. Looks like an absolute bargain to me! People obviously cant appreciate the "hand built competition" quality spec of this bike. Those thick Zoom forks must retail at like £1,000,000 on their own, surely? Its the same spec as what Vince uses isn't it?
  5. Evening all, Thought I'd wack up a quick post on here. Me and Mitch decided we want to ride, so are heading to Poole for about 6ish. If anyones aboot, give me a ring. Ta tarrr Andy
  6. Cheers Dave that makes me feel better...
  7. from the look of todays weather, dont think I will bother going down there
  8. Going to need more than a wetsuit. Oh a little tip, dont stand still for too long, otherwise you're going to need a crane to get you out of the clay
  9. Seriously Nick.... Imagine riding in really sticky clay... Now times that by 10 and you're no where near how bad it is when its wet. Be prepared to have every single part of your bike clogged with clay that you will NEVER get off your bike. Your nice red frames going to be orange for the rest of eternity and your wheels will never turn again. If you leave there with your shoes on your feet, and not burried in 100 tonnes of clay, you're doing well
  10. You will probably find ebay will withdraw your listing once you've put it up, if you use phrases like that. They are getting really strict about what you can say in your listings, and I know a lot of people on here have had lists removed. They did with one of mine, which I contested, and they said I was trying to evade ebay fees, as I used the phrase "make me an offer" as I had the auction up as "Buy now or Best offer". Complete load of rubbish, and yet they wouldn't refund my listing fees for having to list it again.
  11. If you are a student, parent of a student, go to school, whatever, visit this site... Software4Students Its a fully legit website offering full versions of software for students, and a hell of a discounted price. On average, savings of over £300. We just bought Office 2007 Pro Plus for £45 with 2 licences. Arrived yesterday, sweet as a nut.
  12. Ive been sat here trying to think of something to put, but its one of those times that makes your mind go blank. Hobbsie was a legend, such a laugh to be around. He'd never take anything seriously and that was such a refreshing thing to see. He was an amazing character and I will always remember NASS, funniest time of my life. I spent yesterday sitting down watching back over his appearences in TM1 and it just bought a huge smile to my face. Thats how he will be remembered!! RIP dude, you will never be forgotten
  13. Rowans pretty much summed it up, but if you are on a tight budget, there are some alternative options such as Cyberlink Power Director amoung various others. I would say Power Director is the only one of the cheap-o ones worth considering, but it may be worth a trip to PC world to see what they do, but be prepared to shell out well over £50 for anything half decent. A quick search on google will bring up plenty of 30 day trials for Power director should you wish to try before you buy, same with Sony Vegas although I wouldn't reccomend that myself.
  14. Steve, you need to realise, no one likes you..... Only joking Nice pics Mitch, but holy grain on some of them!!

    £1000

I love the comment "The Prime Minister told MPs in June that 'the majority of drivers will benefit" What drivers exactly was he referring to? The ones that dont drive a car?
  16. I dont know of the exact weight but I can find out for you later. The rear end spacing is 135
  17. The full bike is built to a price, so be prepared to change a lot of stuff. The geometry of the frame is ok, but if anything feels a tad long and isnt as flicky as some frames on the market. Its also unbelievably heavy, which I wasnt expecting when I rode one. They are good frames, but suited far more for dirt jumping than park or street.
  18. This happened to me a while back, theres a topic about it floating around. After 3 days of having feedback, I sent a sh*tty email to ebay saying I had become a victim of their redicolous scheme, and had recieved feedback 3 days ago and my money had not been released, care to explain why? I got a responce back saying: "Well with any new scheme there are always glitches in the system, Your money has now been released into your account." One person I spoke to about it had a similar experience, but the money didnt arrive after feedback, it also didnt arrive after 21 days. He finally emailed them after 1 month complaining, and got the exact same responce I did. Basically, if you dont ask for it, looks like they will continue to hold it for as long as they can get away with, and fob you off with some kind of rediculous excuse.
  19. Thing is, the Atomz rear rim is only 499g (64g more than the Onza) yet manages to be less than half the price of the Onza. Sooo what are you paying for exactly...?
  20. The video was very good, the 2 sections had equally amazing parts. The one concern I had the whole way through that video, was how incredibly close you got to traffic in a lot of those clips, especially the bail at the end. A car doing 30-40 mph not expecting a bike to come flying at them (and lets face it, they wouldn't be) is going to cause a serious accident. Im sorry for sounding negative, but surely you must have some kind of regard for your own safety, and wait a couple of seconds for the cars to go past.
  21. Dont make me come over there and bitchslap you Joe, because I will... (get a rum punch ready waiting for me...)
  22. "Global warming" is the wrong phrase really, and gives a common misconception that everywhere will get warmer and we'll all be enjoying rum punches on the beach with some palm trees around. The phrase which should be used more is "climate change", which is far better example of whats happening. Yes the earth is warming up, causing ice caps to melt ect, which is changing tidal patterns effecting rain fall ect. Theres a lot more to it than just us having nice summers.
  23. The filthy 'ard guard is one of the classics, and yet still one of the lightest and strongest bashrings around. I remember when I bought my first one, in gold, so I could be just like Ashton and Hawyes :$
  24. I'll try and write something up when I get home. Add me to msn if you like and I can give you a hand
  25. If I were one of your riders, I'd be a tad annoyed with that statement. So the reason they won was nothing to do with the skill of the riders, it was ALL because of the bike... Anywho on to the products. Im all for companies using new designs and technologies to progress their own range of frames, but to look at a bike, and go "Make me one of those", is a bit off. Monty have invested loads of money into design, testing and prototyping. For some other company to try and make a profit out of Montys hard work, I'm affraid I cant respect a company like that.
