  1. I loved my Brisas, had 2 of them. Ok, by todays standard of frame they aren't amazing, but they are like an 8+ year old design. Nelson Reis used to be able to ride his pretty well, so they can't be all that bad, just depends what you are used to.
  2. Good god..... Rich how the devil are you!! Been a very long time. Last time I saw you, you still had the DMR Sidekick. Will have to hook up for a Poole ride soon, get a ghetto reunion on the go with me and Dan Jones! The bikes looking super nice, blend of the new and old skool. Love it!! Take it easy dude Andy
  3. So like every other governemnt figure and statistic then? Thing is, they'll raise tax on motorbikes for whatever reason, all the motorbikers go out and buy an eco car instead, that will just make conjestion even worse, which will burn more fuel by everyone sitting in worse traffic for longer periods of time.... score
  4. Talk to Skuzzbucket on here, hes just received the Zhi Z3 and as far as I can tell, he seems to really like it. I had a brief hop on it at the last hampshire comp and it felt really nice, but I don't ride 26" so couldn't give a decent review of it.
  5. Sweet deals. Gonna be embarissing, I've not ridden a trials bike in a loooooong time haha
  6. Yea Craig, I'm really hoping the weather is nice. If I grind my rim once more, there wont be any sidewall left Do it Dave, you can play on my Echo Lite.
  7. No one really. I'm in Weymouth that weekend, so just fancied hitting some rocks.
  8. I will hopefully be riding Portland on Sunday 29th if anyone else is up for a play. Give me a shout on msn or something if you want to meet up there ANdy
  9. Ahh awesome, although I still reckon Wheelers mom was a funny observer. I still remember at hut hill in the rain, your pads just slipping out, ending up on your back, and his mom just walks over and hands you your punch card laughing. Good times
  10. Jon talk to me online, depending on timings ect, I might be able to make a detour your way
  11. Yea, some of us just use allen keys, grease and general maintenance to keep our bikes running smooth...
  12. Jack I'll catch up with you and Drei at some point (possibly at Hut Hill if you are going) surrounding help ect, Speak soon Andy
  13. Sounds ideal for a person who can't hang onto a bike for more than 2 weeks
  14. Yea, its "street" because it has a seat tube... despite having the least streety sounding geometry
  15. Nice one Jon, I'll give him a PM about them
  16. Jon, any idea on pricings and distributers ect? Actually quite interested in one
  17. Does look kind of cool. Definitely would consider one of those if the price is right, which looking at the full build specs, I'm not expecting them to be majorly expensive.
  18. I will be, don't know about Dave. Rich is crashing round mine sunday night
  19. Cheers Luke I'll have a bash at getting rid of the lamp post. I had cloned a few out, but didnt notice how ugly that one was.
  20. I'm sure I will have some time to pop along and say hello, I'm down there that weekend seeing some people. It will be my first time in Plymouth so be kind to me and hopefully my bike will be working by then too (not that I've ridden a trials bike in the last 6 mnths or so)
  21. Depending on how much material you have to play with, and you could find an engineering company to do it, you could mill it out from 1"1/8th to 1"1/2, then run an 1"1/2 converter to step it back down to 1"1/8th. Not exactly the easiest job in the world, but more trustworthy than a coke can.
  22. Providing people use it in a responsible and mature way, then it could be a good thing. Ebay had a similar problem in the way that people wouldn't leave negative feedback, for fear of getting negative back from a disgruntled seller, tainting the buyers reputation. I will hold my hands up and say I'm one for doing exactly the same, I've never left negative feedback, as I don't want to receive negative in return. What they have now done, is sellers cannot leave negative feedback, only the buyers. Maybe a similar system could be implemented here?
  23. The sprocket looks really really close to the end of the axel. Surely the chain will rub on the frame when fitted??
  24. I'd personally, if you're not bothered about riding trials, have a look on CRC at the Identiti P45. Its a damn fine little street machine that rides super nice. They are about £350, and are a really good spec for the money. I loved mine.
