  1. Dave, don't reveal details of the secret spot
  2. Yea mitch, some good'un there!! None of the post box??
  3. Really looking forward to this now. Sounds like its going to be a wicked day
  4. Yea is quite an old one, but still a classic
  5. Depends on what that right price would be... could be tempted to give a 24 a go
  6. There may be other reasons why they are not eating though. I stopped eating about a year ago when I was diagnosed with bowel cancer. I physically couldn't eat. Anything I ate, even the slightest bit, made me feel ill. It was the easiest way to combat it, I can't feel ill if I dont eat. I lost a lot of weight (got to 7 stone then got made to eat and put on special diets ect). Once you get into that kind of routine, its very very difficult to get back to normal, and things start to escallate. It was only because of the support the doctors, my family and friends gave me, that I started to eat again. Maybe ask them to get checked out by a doctor, as they will be able to advise a nutritionalist who will be able to help much more.
  7. I personally never found much of a difference between the Hope and the Thompson. I think its down to which brand you prefer. I have a Thompson Elite on my MTB and love it, great looks and really strong. As for length, I think it all depends on what you are used to and how you want the bike to feel. Maybe ask around and see if anyone has a couple of stems in different lengths you can try out, see which one feels most comfortable for you.
  8. That was a brilliant moment. Dave M still holds the record for the 3 most hilarious 5s, and the most flukey recovery ever!!
  9. Ahh fair enough. Was good to see you anyway mate, and have fun in Spain
  10. Glad you enjoyed it Was nice to see some new faces there. Will you be coming back again for more??
  11. I still don't get this obsession with having to label everything. I'm not just talking trials, but everything. We seem so desperate to label each other, or fit into a certain group. Why can't what we do just be looked upon as "trials"? At the end of the day we all share the same common interest, yet as soon as someone does something different, we immediately have to label them. Lets remove the labels, the stereotypes and get on with doing what we enjoy doing, TRIALS.
  12. Yes grinding does weaken the rim, but most people tend to replace the rim before it gets too weak anyway. Ive run double disc on many frames, 20" and 26" street and natural, and I've never hit a rotor once, and I sidehop to the disc side as well. If you are worried about it, try riding normally for a while first, then if you find you have bent/broken a rotor reasily, then try an HS33. Theres no point spending out for something that may never happen.
  13. But it would be boring if everyone rode the same way. If every video that was released was like that, then everyone would get bored and the responces would become negative again. At the end of the day just do what you enjoy, be it natural, bmxy street, TGS, or just throw stupid labels in the bin and ride the damn bike how you want to.
  14. Ahh brings back the good old days!! I had an ES3 and an ES4r. I don't think there are many more of these around, especially ones that arent cracked. I know Tic has/had an ES3. Looking really good anyway mate .
  15. Moving up in the world I see mr Mac!! That does look extremely nice, infact I think I feel a touch of jelousy coming on... Hook up for a ride soon dude
  16. Ahh fair enough. I thought by "gap in the fence" you meant just like a small gap you could get through
  17. Theres a few things though. First of all, there was a tempory fence up. Ok you say there were no signs, and there was a gap in the fence, but the matter is the tempory fence was there for a reason. You have no proof that you didnt open the fence yourselves. I know everyone does it, but you can't moan when someone makes a complaint about you being somewhere where you technically shouldn't be. There could well have been building materials, tools or hazardous materials around there, what would happen if any of that went missing or you injured yourselves? At the end of the day, riding street IS vandalism. Of course people are going to moan about it, especially if you are somewhere you shouldn't be as well.
  18. Yea maybe I was just lucky, or maybe he thought Mac was a shifty character
  19. I disagree with this bit. I was expecting a bit of a wait when I ordered my Bionic frame. It was here in 4 days. At the end of the day, the frames are £150. People pay 5x more than that for a Koxx XTP2 which breaks just as quickly. I know plenty of Zhis, Bionics ect that are going strong after plenty of use.
  20. cheeky s**t!! Right sabotage on your bike on Sunday then....
  21. Sorry Rich only just been told when my start date will be.
  22. I would go in there and ask why its £105. For 5 days, that sounds like an unsually high amount. Normally, its £35 for a letter or whatever, and £5 days thereafter or something similar. Edit - Also it may all change soon, as the final court case should be settled soon, which looks like its going to result in fees having to be paid back. If the banks loose this time (already lost the case 2-3 times and appealed) they cannot appeal again.
  23. Don't think I will be able to make it now. Its the day I start my new job, so kinda gotta be there I think
  24. I don't want to hear any excuses from you about how you "could've made that if I had an engine"
  25. I will of course be there offering my usual array of heckles
