  1. God Dave you're worse than me!!
  2. All depends on the shop. If you haven't done it before, it may well be worth having a shop do it. You can make things a whole lot worse if you do it wrong. If you have an old wheel lying about, give it a go on that first to practice.
  3. Strangely, this isn't all of them... Yes I'm a bike whore...
  4. Sounds perfect, and hell yea with the Smarties cookies, although I am partial to a white choc chip... I'll PM you my delivery address Luke. I'd just like to take a moment to thank my family, my agent, and of course the almighty Yoda for guiding me. Oh I promised myself I wouldn't cry...
  5. The GT LTS frame, at a guess, is from around the 1997-8 mark.
  6. Dan... Dan... I've found you the ideal frame, about perfect with the geo you described... Shes spot on

  11. Well thanks guys for the interest. The chosen 4 are: 20" full ring - Simpson (his little speech was exactly what I was after) 20" half ring - Jon Mac 26" full ring - Rossi G 26" half ring - Connor Powell Once testing has been carried out and any bugs worked out the system, these will be available. More details as and when I get them Thanks again guys, and I will betalking to the 4 in more detail this week. Andy
  12. Was talking to Luke Rainbird about Middleburn ones. If the concept works, then I might look into Middleburn ones
  13. Yea I did have you in mind actually Connor. Having seen you ride at the DJ ride, you've got loads better since i last saw you. That's what the prototyping stage is for, to find out. From what I can find, Lexan should be less brittle than acrylic.
  14. Afternoon all, Lets get right down to it. I'm looking for some people to test out a product for me. I'd prefer people of varying styles (20"/26"/street/comp) to give me some feedback on concepts and any flaws/design tweaks needed. So, I'm looking for 4 people to test a prototype bashing, designed to work with 18tooth screw on sprockets. There will be 2 types, full ring and half ring, so would like 2 people to test each one. At the moment, I dont have any pics or anything as they are going into the workshop during the week to be made, so just judging interest. I aim to get the prototypes available within the next week or so, depending on the workshops load. The difference with these bashrings is they are made out of Lexan (similar to acrylic), an incredibly strong yet light weight plastic. The full ring is around 20grams and the halfring around 10grams. These are designed more for the UCI market as a light weight precautionary measure, however I'd like to see how these will hold up on street as well. If anyone would like to give one a go, let me know
  15. Do you run thoughts through your head before letting them out of your mouth??

  17. That depends on who else I come down to see
  18. I might be down for this. Planning another holiday in Plymouth and had a right laugh last time (might even try and ride this time)
  19. When I see a vid of you riding even remotely close to a 6ft wall... I will believe you.
