  1. Doesnt look like I will be making it. Lack of beds in the area (someone may have left it until the last minute as usual forgetting its summer holidays ) Have fun guys Andy
  2. rubbish!! You got a few hours in the morning though
  3. Now we're talking. Will see if I can throw something together...
  4. Lukey Lukey, you gotta come out and play. Especially as I stood you up last weekend :$ plus you still owe me my Video comp prize.
  5. Ever since I was ill and had to stop drinking for the obvious reasons, I've never really bothered again. I don't see the point in drinking personally. I don't enjoy the taste or the feeling it gives, and it just seems to turn people into complete bellends.
  6. Nice one Scotty!! And I think we've found a good reason for Spandex jump suits...
  7. You knows I'll be down on the 26th
  8. I know its a tad short notice, but I'm riding Plymouth tomorrow if anyone is about and would like to come out for a few hops. Andy
  9. It depends on what you are used to. If you are used to riding a nomal every day bike with sus, the first few rides on rigids will give you achey wrists. I had the same problem when I first started. The more you ride, the more you will loosen up and it will start to feel much more comfortable. Time is the key I think on this one.
  10. On a sensible note, Tarty quote it as 9.3kg, but thats with standard bar and stem. Gotta be close to 9ish with the trialtech setup.
  11. Haha don't worry, I'll teach you "Southern" I know its not orange but it still looks nice in green. Sounds like you've changed your mind on the bike hehe
  12. They are regular bog standard vertical drop with a standard fixed hub. I wanted to give it a try, as I'm forever fettling around with snail cams etc to get a good tension and struggling to get the rear wheel in the same place each time I take it out. This just seems easier.
  13. Just stop it Dave, I know!! The spray paint will come soon enough haha, they have to be white. Aww its ok Joe, you can come ride my one when you're back if it makes you feel better
  14. Evening all The new steed arrived today. Haven't had much of a chance to play, but first impressions are really good. Will hopefully be a video (shock horror, a video of Andy riding a bike!) in the near future. Specs pretty simple, Atomz full build aside from a Trialtech bar and stem. Thanks to Adam for sorting it out so quickly Andy
  15. Thats without taking public liability insurance into account, plus employers insurance, security costs, the 100+k to build a decent skate park. Simp's original quote of "multi-million" is fairly realistic.
  16. Yea, its on its way. The protos are being made by a different company, just want to get the principle worked out first. Will see what production costs are going to be afterwards once I know whether I'm wasting my time with the concept. Just a note to anyone else whos asked, all testers have been chosen and contacted. I wish I could let everyone have a free one, but that wouldn't be the best business plan.
  17. Thats the market I'm aiming at really. For people concerned with weight in the comp scene, its a good material option.
  18. Having to redesign slightly... the half rings have some melting issues when being machined
  19. Better break out the cheque book then
  20. I used to think Scotts gold one was a horrible colour, however his old one looks amazing compared to that... sorry. It's made a really nice shaped frame look like something from "Toys R Us".
  21. Yea first HD video I've had an issue with. Doubt its due to out of date drivers, the PCs a week old
  22. I tried it in VLC and Quicktime using Vista64, and neither could handle it.
  23. Constructive criticism... The into was just too ott, the flashing and stuff just didn't work. It made it look like a poorly made video from the 80s or something. The rotating Koxx logo was quite frankly the most annoying bit though. It would have been fine for the first 10 seconds of the video for example, but 5 minutes in and all I was doing was watching the logo spin, not the riding. For an HD video though (considering the size of the download) the quality was really poor, and looked as if you could have achieved the same on a middle of the range SD camera. I'd suggest going through your export settings, as the downloaded video wouldn't play smoothly on my PC, and this things built for HD editing. The only way I could watch it was on Vimeo with HD off, and even then it struggled occasionally.
