  1. Looking at the way they've been stuck on, I'm guessing it may not have come with those as standard. You could buy the sticker kits sepertely.
  2. Without going into the aspect ratio which has pretty much been said already, the vid was good and some beasty riding. The only thing for me was the rail ride at the end. It may just be me being an old fuddy duddy, however doing something like that along a road with cars coming towards you just seems stupid. All it would have taken is your front wheel to slip off, and you are under a cars wheels. I know trials isn't exactly the safest thing, but its a more calculated risk. Adding a 1.5 tonne car with a driver whos not paying attention to the mix, and it's not going to end well. Anyway gripe over
  3. Hi all, I know its a bit late notice, but myself and Dave Marshall are heading down to Poole for a bit of a ride. If anyones about, pop on down.
  4. Definitely get one. I'm well known as a bit of a bike whore and won't keep a bike for more than a few days, but I've had one for a fair while now and absolutely love it. Its a really good quality frame, nice and light and the rear end is stiff enough to get away without a booster. The geometry is well balanced so doesn't feel out of place on street or natural.
  5. After christmas you say... My Vodafone contract is up for renewal in Jan! Can upgrade my 2G for a 3Gs
  6. But that doesn't take the head angle into acount, which can make 2 frames of the same "frame length" ride completely differently.
  7. But that wouldn't be the WHEELbase....?? And since when has bars being tilted affected the wheelbase? Or tyre size for that matter... And you mean when I use different forks, my frame doesn't magically stretch?
  8. I'll be out and about tomorrow (providing the weather stays like this!)
  9. The thing you don't seem to get into your head, is you were rolling someones wheel into a main road! What would you have honestly done if someone didnt stop in time and crushed his wheel? Would have even felt any guilt? Do you genuinely find doing stuff like that fun? I bet you wouldn't be thinking the same if it was your property someone was "having some fun with". It's got nothing to do with us "not being on the ride", its to do with common sense, morals and decency to look after someones bike if they are kind enough to let someone else ride it for the day, not abuse it.
  10. Me and Joe are heading down there today if anyone is about.
  11. Naaar "JD" from Scrubs, so the other should be "Turkleton"
  12. The old Scott High Octane. Really regret selling this Got a Marin East Peak now (will get a photo later)
  13. Dave, I'll give you a shout next week. I have a couple of Xbox 360s at home, and I'm sure 1 of them could disappear Its just the console so you would need cables and a controller (I have 1 you could borrow though)
  14. Im down in Plymouth this weekend visiting friends, and will have my bike with me. Hoping to ride Plymouth on the Sunday depending on the weather if anyone else is about, pop along and say hi
  15. I seem to remember Dave Marshall having a similar issue. I think it was due to the Rolhoff not being compatible with the Echo hub (and other similar fixed hubs hub, something to do with spacings etc) and wouldn't work. Think your only option is the Atomz/similar tensioners as they have more sideways adjustment.

  17. Actually been waiting months to use this... CONGRATULATIONS
  18. *sigh* ok then... 2 of the same type of car, both I'd guess would cost about the same. or
  19. There we go then, prime example of taste. I think it looks fantastic, and the matte kind of effect makes it look like an SR71 blackbird
  20. You're totally right.. It definitely induced some vomit
  21. Its all a question of taste. I personally really cant stand all these Saxos and Fiestas that have a body kit that makes them look like a space ship and lexus lights from halfords. I'm more of a fan of factory modding, like Alpina, Brabus, Irmscher, Cosworth etc. I also don't mind modding if you are making it look like something specific. If you got a Metro and wacked a sodding great wide arch it on it and a V6 lump in the back so it was like a 6R4, thats awesome! I also really love the properly decaled up Subarus to look like rally cars, or making a mini look like Hopkirks rally car, or making a Peugeot 406 look like a touring car. I much prefer modded cars to look like something specific, not just a standard car with space thrusters glued on.
  22. Best thing I think you've ever said... Love you really Dave
  23. Haha what a legend, you gotta love Terry. Is he having his vains drained and re-filling with Magura Mineral oil?? Maybe Dot 4?? Good to hear anyway
