Ash, I have the 20" version and really like it. Its had a bit of a battering and is holding up well. I don't have a booster on mine, and theres virtually no flex at all. The filled and smoothed section on the toptube/seatstay join makes the rear end nice and rigid.

I've got the white/black/yellow one. Looks really nice, and yellow is my favourite colour I think I paid about £40 for mine from the shop down the road.

No I got my helmet from my LBS, thats just the cheapest place I've seen it for sale online, so I cant comment on their delivery etc.

I recently bought a Scott Grove (Link here) and really like it. Its a good weight, nice and comfy with loads of ventilation, and at £35 is a cracking price. They also come in all kinds of funky colours. I would rate it as high as the Giros I've had in the past, so definitely worth a look.

I've never paid that much for my insurance. The highest I've ever had was about £700, and that was on a Jap import 2.5ltr 7 seater people carrier on my own policy with no one else as named driver. My current insurance is £450 fully comp, on a 2.2ltr Vectra estate, and thats with 1 crash and only 1 years NCB. I'd definitely have a shop around, from what I remember it was only an extra £100 to add me as a named driver to my dads car when I was learning.

I tried watching the Derren Brown thing in 3D, but because I am colour-blind between red and green, it just didn't work at all. Was like watching a normal program but in black and white.

I'm not venturing out the house in this!!
