    Spring Clips

I put together a short video of clips I've filmed over this spring. Nothing special, but I like it. http://www.vimeo.com/4757818 Comments appreciated!
  2. Z3 135 mm frame Meta snail cams Adamant fixed rear hub (with the end spacers trimmed down to allow snail cams) laced to red try-all rim Echo disc front hub laced to echo 06 front rim kenda nevegal 2.1 front tire Continental rubber queen rear tire standard tubes Adamant driveside crank with monty freewheel, GU non drive Wellgo mag pedals First BB Rear magura with rock blues, adamant lever, echo 2 bolt booster(used to be 4 lol) Front 8" bb7 Zhi 120x20 stem Truvativ hussfelt bar (680x35mm) META fork Cane creek headset Half link chain Meta notched snail cams (best snails EVER) Echo grips Geo is rougly: 1082 wb +40 bb 385 cs 72.5 ha 668 mm reach 18:16 gear ratio
  3. ME riding it: Rides great! My friends dob
  4. Deng needs to make a 175 mm crank.
  5. Ride with James B or Trevor and you'll change your mind
  6. Nice parts. Looks like it would ride rank though. Is this your first trials bike?
  7. 24uk geo is rank, too short. Get the inspired.

    Zhi Z1

Measure the geo of that bike! Looks sick!
  9. What part of Canada is he moving to?
  10. I think I remember them being 532 mm erd.
  11. What bar and stem are those? What geo is it?
  12. $45 USD I think. Because 1025 feels too short? 24uk geo is the shortest of the 24" trials frames out there...unless you get a custom frame. I think 1035-1045 would feel much better.
  13. Nice frame, but the bike looks like dog shit with that fork.
  14. Most parts should transfer over easily. Just change the hoops and gear ratio and you should be ready to roll
  15. I don't agree with that. I'd much rather a longer wheelbase on this bike.
  16. I figure I'd save quite a bit of weight if I switched to front 6" disc because of the difference in weight between the marino vs alum echo urban fork. My marino fork is nearly 1400 grams, while my urban is about 800. I figure if I put on a front disc I'll gain 200 or so grams at most over the V brake, but I'll still save a lot of weight because of the fork. Frame is holding up superb.
  17. So, I've redone marino. I had a lot of gold parts on it with FFW. I switched to a rear chris king and ditched some of the gold parts. I still plan to put a different fork on the front and change out the front hub to a disc hub. More weight savings! Weighs 12.68 kg right now.

    Zhi News

What happened to the ZHI bike website?
  19. I like the back end of this frame, but the front just looks strange.
  20. Good lines. Amazing rider. Very poorly edited. I prefer Michal's editing style, or no editing at all. In fact, that video should be destroyed. Start over, honestly.
