  1. Great vid guys. I'd love to see more like this, but longer!
  2. No video of the fall, but I did another line there. You can see the wall that messed me up:
  3. Definitely not as strong as the next chain. Very weak actually. I ran a KMC 810 chain for 14 months and it didn't break, I replaced it because it was skipping. Plates snapped. This chain was a shadow conspiracy chain. They're practically all the same.
  4. This happened to me today. I went for an up to front and the chain snapped. I blacked out for a few minutes, and woke up with my face covered in blood and numb. This is the second half link chain I've broken in 3 months. The bruising and swelling is a lot worse now than when I took this pic...I also hurt my thumb and arm. The arm looks similar to the face...
  5. 390 is definitely a step forward. My bike is +40 and 388, and it is almost perfect feeling imo. Slightly higher bb and longer stay(like in the stinger) would be amazing. 375's should be used with really low bb like 0 or +10 380s for 20-35 385s for 25-40 390 for 40-60
  6. I wish you'd stop talking about it.
  7. Nicest looking frame and geo I've ever seen. Looks similar to my Z3 (1083, 388, 72, +40). Might be my next frame!
  8. Get a new bike and ride with new people
  9. I messed up my king pretty badly this year when I rode it in the spring. All the salt/dirty water/sand/grit totally raped the insides. Also did a number on some of my other parts...but thats what you get when you live in Canada
  10. I've had kings and freewheels for about the same amount of time. My kings have skipped wayyy more! Freewheel is the future IMO, there really isn't a need for kings anymore.
  11. Best post ever. You guys need to learn to not resort to anger when someone else has a different opinion.
  12. Not a fan of the bike at all, but I must say, the workmanship on the rear end of that frame looks really nice, too bad they sorta skimped out on the front. Top and down tubes should always be welded together IMO. Non joined always feel so flexy in the front.
  13. Oh you, forgot about seat. They sit too low, and the bars are too far forward, so the seat is very uncomfortable to use, even if its put up. Its more there for looks than function imo.
  14. LOL my bad. I owned a 24" bike and I didn't like it. They arn't really good for anything in perticular, so they don't make a good bike to learn on IMO. It seems like the only riders that can ride them well are those with a lot of trials and bmx background like danny mac and phil feeney. I might have gone a bit overboard on otn, but I honestly didn't like that bike. I think that current 24" bike geos need to see an evolution like 26" trials bikes have seen in the last several years. If I were to build another one up, it would have much lower bb height, shorter cs, and 1050 ish wb. I didn't like how high the bb height on mine was because it requires a really high handlebar height so that you're not riding in a stretched out stance. But when you do that I find that the bike starts to feel off balance and too flicky.
  15. HOLY SHIT! Huge moves and that bike looks ridiculously nice! Please make a new vid soon! And, what fork is he running? Looks ill.
  16. Shimano DX shoes are what I use. Offers ankle protection which is a huge plus...
  17. Yeah, 4 bolt GU booster. Had a crack on the other side and headtube as well.
