Can't say for 24. Damon built one up though. But for stock, 1090 wb, +45 bb, 72 Ha, 385 cs, would be pretty nice!

You look way better on the Sky than the kortz. Man that's such a nice looking bike!

weight/geo/wheelsize. Anyone ever notice that 24's seem insanely awkward to manual? I could manual a mod or stock for ages, but not my 24? Felix Mucke said he had this problem with his 24" marino too... I think if I were to build another 24", the reach would have to be about 25.25" with a slack head angle(71~), mid wb(1050?), and low bb. Marino frames/forks are pretty gross for 24s too... Although, I probably wouldn't ride it like most 24" riders do...footjam whips are lame! I'd still rather a 26" though. I actually like TGS bikes more for street. I find they're less limiting than 'streety' setups.

I had a 24" marino frame with drilled headtube, bb, seat tube, etc. No extra gussets. Was made to be as light as possible. I was told it would be around 2.3-4 kg...but when I got it, the damn thing weighed 2.75 kg! Pretty lame! I couldn't get used to my 24, it honestly felt awful to me. I had 24uk geometry, which has shorter WB than the inspired, but the reach is actually the same (or longer?). Felt super sluggish, not at all what I expected. Like said before, you have to run a lot of spacers below your stem to have it setup right. I also had a marino fork custom made with my frame, and the steerer was pre-cut by him for the frame, so I couldn't get enough bloody spacers underneath my stem. Although I probably would have needed 6 half inch spacers for it to feel ride-able. That said, the fork was 1.45 kg with the cut steerer. Marino stuff is shit for trials. The whole bike still ended up being fairly light, around 24.5 lbs, because I used a lot of light parts. I don't see the point in a street trials bike if its still going to be hard to bunnyhop. I lent my 24" to a buddy for a group ride, and he tried to bunnyhop a relatively low wall (which he'd done easily on his bmx and mtb) and ended up just barely getting the front wheel off the ground, front wheel casing the wall, flying over the bike, and dragging his face across the top of the wall for several feet. I've owned 9 trials setups, tried many other bikes, and my 24" was the worst yet! I can honestly say there was nothing I liked about my 24 experience!

I think you need to preload/jump harder and tuck more to the side. It looks like when you preload, you shoot your body down(and sideways?) to preload but you don't lower the front wheel very much. I love to watch damon's style of sidehopping, he holds his front wheel quite high before preloading and then lowers it a lot in the preload. You seem to be the type of rider that focuses on being slow and smooth, and don't get me wrong, this is an awesome way to ride, but sidehops require a lot of power, so they're not usually one of the smoothest moves. I'd focus on being smooth at sidehops only after I'd become quite good at them. Another thing I find that influences sidehops are the bike that you ride and the gear it has. I tried 5 different bikes when on a group ride for the same sidehop, and I found that the longest(also lowest bb) ones were much harder to sidehop higher with. The short bikes went to rear quite easily, while it was more of a struggle on the really long ones. I also find using a lighter gear can be good because it makes you focus on technique to acquire power than the drivetrain. Another great thing to do is to go to Mcdonalds and buy a large cappuccino with 5 shots of sugar. You'll be sidehopping like you never have before I don't expect you to agree with all of this, because you are a more advanced rider than me. So there might be things that I've left out...or am slightly incorrect with. But this is what I find works best

Wouldn't you have to remake the freewheel design? wouldn't a regular freewheel engage instead of freewheeling when its on backwards?
-
These frames actually look really nice. The designs look much stronger than the previous dob frames. Not sure why they would choose +50 and 1070 for the stock though!

Kenny rides so strangely compared to all other riders.

I think he's actually from china and operates out of china. I know he spent a few months in southern Ontario(probably for education?) but then went back. His english is very broken...

I'm amazed that you guys didn't know of this website sooner. I've been ordering from him for a long time. First of all, nowhere on the website does it say that he is from Canada. And he isn't. Biketrialseller operates out of China, but uses Canadian currency. Search OTN and you'll find tones of threads on this guy...but I'm not sure I'd recommend buying, because there is really no warranty and he often sends the wrong items. He offers an exchange if he makes a mistake, but you have to send the item back to him, and this often costs as much as the item did, so really you end up paying twice. I ordered 3 ZHI frames from him this time last year and he sent me the wrong ones. I think he may have sorted this problem out now.

Use reach instead of that measurement. Reach is from the center of the bb to the center of the top of the headtube. When I look at a frame, I don't consider wheelbase. I consider reach, head angle, head tube length, chain stay length, and bb height.

That looks so stunning. I want one so bad now. I'd like to see a few vids of people riding them!
-
Does anyone know if this frame can run 18:16?
-
Sayshell for the win.

Sidehops are everything. oh my god that video was sick!!!
-
Whats with the chain tensioner?
-
Love you vagina! Great riding and editing. what was the tune? How high are you sidehopping now?
-
I like the grips. How much does that tape cost and where could I get some?
-
I liked it allllll. I liked the tune, the riding, the dark attitude...it all jived for me. Make lots more like this. Maybe try to integrate some other trials moves into your riding, then the TF TGSers will show a bit more Restecpa.
