  1. Alright, why not just use tar on the echo rim and ride it until the anodized layer is gone, and then grind?

    James B

James B is a Canadian I wish I could have the chance to ride with that guy!
  3. Nooooooo...you don't! Especially not for 5 months of the year! Canada sucks for trials riders...everything is covered in Ice, Snow, Salt, and Sand! Sweet video though bud
  4. That's a pretty beastly frame. I like the look a lot. I can't say anything about the geo, as I've never tried a high bb bike. To each his own nonetheless! Get some pics of it fully built now
  5. I love the grunt moments, I always get a good laugh out of them . Your moves all look too big to be possible. You're a legend TRA! That was a sick video!!!
  6. ^^^ that's probably not Ryan's bike. I think it's just a moment built up by Norco for Interbike, because that bike has a Sram derailleur, and Ryan has been riding for Shimano for AGES.
  7. Ewy, Ryan's fork is shorter than 80 mm. The wheelbase on those things is like 1015 mm...26" only...steel... 399mm stays...I've tried 2 of them so far, haven't like either of them. Sorry to be nasty on your advertisement...just my 2 cents. Probably a wicked frame for street riders.
  8. Why aren't there any 20 mm trials rigid forks around? I'd much rather use a through axle than standard hub...
  9. 82 ish GBP http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...p;rd=1&rd=1 Long way to ship though :$
  10. WOW!!! That bike seems to suit Neil way better than the Zoo! did. Beautiful vid, even if it was short. That last up was incredible! I had to re-watch it several times to see how he did it! I can't wait to see more!
  11. Awesome video!!! He goes really huge!!! Reminds me of Neil...but smaller/shorter?
  12. Sweet bike. I love how the Pure's ride. I wish I had one like it!
  13. Definitely!!! I hope I get to see it on YouTube...we don't get that channel in Canada. Damon is the best!!!
  14. Is that the long or short version of the frame? I'm definately getting one like that, but regular dropouts Looks SOOOO mint man, beautiful bike you've got. That's definitely the nicest 07 Adamant I've seen so far.
  15. Well...when you live in Canada, it's not possible to ride from November to March...because there's so much snow and it's so bloody cold out. So, I work a lot during the winter, use forums like this, buy lots of new bike stuff on eBay, and try to hang out with friends as much as I can.
  16. You're going to like this then...I shortened my fork from 130 to 90 mm of travel. ^^ This pic looks a little dumb because I have a pump on and haven't cut the steerer tube yet
  17. Yeah, well Trek has a frame warranty program, so I just took it to my bike shop and they sent it away to trek, and trek sent me back a nice new jack frame I live in Canada, so you wouldn't have any sweet clue about my bike shop Definitely rides better than the 16.5 " bruiser frame Here's a beastly pic of the crack I found at the chain stay of my bruiser frame.
  18. You're pretty smooth and have a wicked style . Nice little vid
  19. Rides pretty good overall. I can bunny hop up 5 pallets, which is around 30 ", so I'm pretty proud of that. 1035 mm wheelbase feels a bit short though, and the head angle is a bit slack for my liking. Next upgrade for it will be a Funn Stiffy rigid fork...but that's after I get my adamant Parts spec: Trek Jack 2 frame (got it from warrenty when my bruiser cracked) Front and Rear Avid bb7's Front and Rear Sun S-type wheels (both with terrible formula hubs ) Bontrager Big Earl cranks with Crankbrothers 50/50 X blue pedals 04 Marzocchi Dj 2 fork at 130 mm K-rad front tire and Bontrager Earl rear tire Stem/Bars/Seat post are Bontrager Select (pictured is a Bontrager Earl stem though...I upgraded to a 4 inch select stem) This bike wheelies like a dream Let me know what you think.
  20. I can almost do that... http://media.putfile.com/rockwalk
  21. Amazing video! That Yaabaa Bow is a very strange looking bike, but the guy riding it sure is impressive. Wicked stuff!!!
  22. Thanks pav!!! I'll do that if I find it's not loud enough. Well, actually, I don't have the tools, so I'll probably get my bike shop to service it. But I can tell them what to do. Thanks a lot guys.
  23. That link doesn't work for me.
  24. I think I know what you mean. You're into the "do it all" hardtail approach. I personally hate them for trials riding. I've owned a few, still have one, and they're nothing compared to a real trials bike. My brother owns a Giant STP 1 and it rides terrible for trials. If you use a 'do it all hardtail' like you are, you'll get to a point in trials where you can't advance any further on that bike. In my opinion, that's Jeff Linosky's problem. He could be a wicked trials rider if he wanted to. But it's his choice. Same applies for Ryan leech...
