  1. Check out industry 9 hubs...120 engagement points in the rear hub, front hub is probably quite lightweight, and they use special aluminum spokes that don't use a nipple...saving a ton of weight. http://www.industrynine.net/official/singlespeed.html
  2. My bunnyhops are kinda useless, because I use my opposite foot forward to do them So I can't really bunnyhop to rear wheel and stay there, because I'd have the wrong foot forward...and I've already gotten kinda good at it...Whatever. I shall try.
  3. I can actually already do 36 inches...lol. I'm terrible at pedal ups, I honestly can't do any higher than 30". I didn't have much time to ride and film...so I didn't get that stuff in. I used to ride street on a Dj bike...but I didn't really learn to manual well until I got this bike
  4. The song is Scars of your Disease by the Agony Scene. Thanks for the comments! I just pulled an all nighter and now I'm going biking! lmao
  5. Hey everyone. This is my first video on my echo control. It's my first trials bike, and I've been riding it for about a month now. I decided to make a few little clips, and my goofy friend andrew made my first edit. Comments welcome There's obviously nothing huge...In my next video I'm going to throw in some bigger ups and gaps. I didn't have much to play on, and we only had an hour to film. I want to get a 36+ inch bunnyhop on my next video I'm the only trials rider in my city! I wish I had other people to learn from and ride with
  6. What's the geo on that thing? Looks really cool!
  7. You need to make a new video!
  8. I just talked to James Barton - He said that Simtra made him a proto frame - 1090 wheelbase and +40 bb height. Sounds nice! James rides ace on it too!
  9. Absolutely sick, this is why he's the champ! haha Vincent riding on street makes all the other street riders look like n00bs! He looks to have mastered every single technique in the book.
  10. Wicked video! What frame is James barton riding on now?
  11. I find front to back wheelswitch's to be really hard. Havent done a successful one yet...shall keep trying
  12. Alright...I have an 06 Echo control short (1065) and I find it way too short in length...I was thinking it might be better if I swapped they stem out for something longer...I'm currently using a 100 mm x 7 degree stem, what do you guys think I should be using?
  13. Maybe he's making the new ones without a bash, and with disc mounts...that could be nice.
  14. So I thought I'd dig up this old thread. I bought a new echo rear brake, with a gold adamant lever and gold mounts. WOW! It works beautiful! Only complaint is that the sound of the brake stops when it's hot out...but it can be so insanely loud and grabby. I'm running a smooth rim too. 5/5.

I met ryan leech and helped him setup one of his demos
  16. I honestly hate it when people criticize a video as good as this one. And it's usually the people that don't have half the skill of the rider in the video...Neil this video was mint, honestly it shows me how much I need to improve, and how tough of a journey it will be. Oh and it looks as though you're going bigger than ever on the adamant...truely amazing riding. My only compaint would be that the angles could have been just slightly better, showing how BIG you are going. Still, I absolutely LOVED this video. 10/5.
  17. I added a new pic to the first post. I put the new urban fork on, and an avid bb7 instead of that terrible V brake. Also threw a new front tire on, has a lot more traction.
  18. I might try that at the bike shop tomorrow. I have to go there to get some bearings for my front hub, buy new bb7 brake pads, a rear tube, and a rear derailleur cable. lol
  19. Thanks, that stem+crown race thing worked like a charm. Havent tried getting the cog off yet, I've been rather busy, but thanks for all the suggestions!!! Thanks everyone!
  20. I had a cheap steel fork on my echo control, it lasted 3 days before it bent out over 2 inches. My wheelbase went from 1065 to 1125 lol
  21. Now I'm having problems with my crown race, I removed it from my old fork quite easily, but I'm having trouble getting it all the way down on my new echo urban fork. There seems to be about 6-8 mm of extra room below the crown race when I put it on. Is this normal? Is there a way to fix it easily?
  22. Alright guys, I put a single speed cog on my chris king universal hub. It's a 16 tooth cog, and I want to switch it for a 15 tooth. But my problem is that the cog is dug in to the aluminum freehub body really badly and I can't seem to get it out. Do you guys have any ideas on how to get it off?
