That's what happens when you ride frames with shitty welds...I would expect the same will happen on all the new GU's.

Whichever Avid you get, don't get one with a carbon lever...They come loose and have a lot of problems. Stick with the regular lever designs.

Well, I'm thinking of getting a Mod stock type of frame...but I want to keep my chris king on the back. I thought I heard that Neil Tunnicliffe had bodged his to work on his Adamant Mod stock? If so, how?

I'm about to lace my front wheel. Any of you lads know what length spokes to use if I were lacing the 36 mm front rim to a front echo hub?

I think they're pretty reasonable. Just remember, when truing...to loosen the side that it's warped to, so when you tension the opposite side, it's not over stressing the rim. I can't get over how light they are. Or you could just get shorter spokes

I picked up a 3 year old CK on ebay. Works great. Havent had any problems yet.
