Hah, you guys in the UK have a much bigger scene than most places in the world! Canada has like 50 riders. lol

It is ground, the first picture I posted shows the grind. The picture of the rear end of the bike is before I ground the rim...but I'm not really happy with the grind. I grinded a DOB rim that's on my echo, and the brake is super loud and bitey, and I did the same to this DOB rim and put it on my DOB bike...brake slips, makes almost no noise...and is just shitty in general. Yet the grind looks and feels identical.

Best of both worlds I didn't want to get crazy light cranks with like a half sided bash, because I'm still a bit of a newb, and I hit the bash a lot, and I use different feet forward for different moves...lol So I'd be hitting both sides of the bash...haha. Everything else is reasonably light. The bike rides pretty damn good. I love how easily it pivot spins. I can still manual it too, which I'm happy about, I just have to get used to it a bit more. The higher bb seems to be making manuals a bit more tricky. I find it's a lot better than my echo control short, but I wish it were as stiff as the control...haha.

The reflectors are long gone. lol

I've got 3 dob wheels. 2 rear and one front. They do seem to dent a bit easier, but they stay true quite well in my experience with them. Just run a bit more pressure and you'll be fine...

I love the sound of my king hub. It isn't fully bedded in yet...but it's lovely. It actually didn't cost me anything...it was a gift from my best friend for my birthday...haha.

How do you like your DOB? Doesn't flex too much for you does it?

The material used should be more similar to what is used in the frames than the hoops. I'm glad they painted them...looks crap raw. lol

Meh, it's not that huge of a difference. I got these dirt cheap too, and I don't trust Try-all cranks. lol I figure I'll save more weigh with my other parts anyway, and I'm really hard on cranks...lol Pics of mine: Here. You should measure your geo on that bike, looks quite different that the approx geo from DOB.

I've got one of those exact frames sitting 1 foot away from me...haha I love mine. I'm aiming for sub 20 on mine. I'll post mine up in a few weeks when it's done Mine has black DOB rims front and rear though...GU cranks, Meta headset...I plan on getting a big betty for the rear, and something less than 500 grams for the front By the way, what gear ratio did you put on that thing?

I havent tried the Plaz, but my rock pads have been absolutely excellent, I will be running them on 3 bikes of mine...couldn't ask for a better brake pad

Is it just me, or does your magura crossover hose look kinked?

Hows the chain tension? does it ever move and go slack?
